Don’t mind the homeless folks hanging around but finding a roach in the ice machine and/​or fountain soda is pretty disgusting.

Embarrassed for even reviewing a Micky D’s. But stop in late night to get the all day breakfast. Waited twenty minutes, still no breakfast, asked what’s up was told he’ll make breakfast when he gets a chance.

I visited this McDonald’s this morning at 6:30am for the $ 1.00 + Tax coffee and the restaurant was filled with strung-​out druggies drinking beer from water cups and from a brown paper bags. Not to mention causing a lot of trouble, harassing customers attempting to purchase food.
The security guard DOES NOTHING.
Anyway, too many druggies around causing trouble, the $ 1.00 coffee is not worth risking ones life.

Don’t have ur lunch here, it’s a known drug area n cops arrested 50+ people at this location so far, especially after this morning’s fiasco, safe ur selves n eat at ur offices or go somewhere away from here

This review is for the store’s «ambiance» not the actual food. I can’t believe I just said ambiance when referring to a McDonald’s. My friend and I were fascinated by the reputation of this McDonald’s. So much so that we ventured from Murray Hil and Hamilton Heights respectively to check it out. From the New York Times article and other Unilocal reviews, we were expecting a dull, yet somewhat intimidating body guard at the establishments’ entrance, followed by low-​lifes with various addictions (mostly meth and heroine) loitering at scattered tables. Contrary to our belief, it was a pretty nice McDonald’s — clean, alert employees, bright. Maybe the methheads were taking a day off or maybe they ventured outside (it was quite a nice day) but we were unable to spot even one. So for fellow adventurists out there, no need to check this place out — no much to see, unless you enjoy McDonald’s.

This is crowded mcdonalds that i saw in the midtown area even the ones on 7^th ave is not crowded as this one. But the problem is caused by workers because only one cashier is working on friday night i waited for 15 minutes in the line

come for the burgers, stay for the heroin.

Worst McDonalds … The service is ok but due to the drug addicts it is a place to avoid. If you do go be wary of the bathroom or sitting down they use and deal right in front of you… Mostly altercations, loud talking, passing drugs, nodding off. They need real big security and the police. Otherwise I never had a prob. Oh and they let me buy happy meals toys without happy meal including the all the Minions which my daughter loves!

I came in for lunch searching for the minions toys. This is the only Mcdonald that refuses to sell the toy alone and made me buy the happy meal in order to get the toy. This location is a combination of a homeless shelter + disneyland… very interesting. It is the only location where you can see homeless/​addicts and tourists dining at the same restaurant. The police was there patrolling and kicking out loiters taking up seats. I would stay away from this location.

McDonalds #3078 great service and employees. Excellent manager Jose was very helpful and kind. Customers will definitely have a positive experience at this McD location.

Maneuver the lines, check your receipt, check your food, stay clear of the meth heads and you’ll have an awesome time. Tata!

Food is average McDonald’s food-​dry, lacking any real flavor yet strangely filling. My gripe is with the atmosphere. It’s a drug addict’s paradise. There is a methadone treatment center near this McDonald’s so the dope fiends use it as a hangout. This is not an exaggeration. There’s hardly anyplace to sit and eat in this beautifully designed McDonald’s because groups of folks from the methadone clinic come here to sit for hours on end talking loudly, nodding and drinking cups of sugar. I see that there’s a security guard here now but he doesn’t seem to serve any real purpose.

Terrible customer service !!! No sense of customer service girl. taking order chewing gum and being obnoxious. I wouldn’t go back based on this experience but boy was she either woefully untrained or just being plain ol” rude. And I do not visit places where people are rude intentionally.

I feel kind of stupid even writing a review of a McDonald’s. I mean, it’s McDonald’s, how good or bad can it be?
But this location made me want to cry. The interior is lovely! They clearly spent a good deal a money to make it look modern and clean and welcoming, and they did a great job. It’s very handsome and comfortable. Well, as comfortable as seats and tables bolted to the floor can be.
The service on my one and only visit was a bit confused (I think they were having problems with their registers) but everyone was pleasant and apologetic. The food was what one expects, but that is not what I am rating.
I am rating the fact that at 2:10pm on a sunny, mid-​50 degrees Saturday afternoon, fully 5% (I counted and calculated) of the seats were occupied by apparently homeless, definitely unbathed citizens. It was difficult to find a seat that was far enough away from an unappealing odor to not make my lunch unpleasant. I cannot imagine what the population of this restaurant is at 11pm, or on a cold or rainy day.
I have great compassion for homeless people, as does the city of New York and numberless charities. There are plenty of places where they can go to stay warm and dry and get a healthy meal. A commercial establishment that caters to families and children is not an appropriate substitute.

McDonalds is McDonalds, they’re the same everywhere foodwise. But if you were to go to any McDonalds, definitely stop by this one. The interior is unlike any McDonalds you’ve probably been to. 4 stars for its sleek and modern décor. Plus, i’ve napped here during lunch hour a couple times.

Like in any fast food joint they’ll judge you based on your ethnicity. If you’re Asian, they’ll call you «la china or la chino» under their breaths. The same goes for all other ethnicities. They’ll be nice in front if you but once your 2.5 feet away from them, they’ll start talking. Trust me, this just happened to me an hour ago (10:46am EST; order # 628). Would have been better if I spilled my boss’ coffee on the guy behind the counter. Don’t bother calling them to complain because the workers are trained to not pick up phones. Being a recruiter as my profession, I’ll really think twice before bringing forth McDonalds workers.

It looks like everyone needs a lesson about McDonald’s: Hot Mustard sauce is a thing, and it is exactly the ONLY reason I still eat at McDonald’s once in a blue moon (approximately once every two months?). By «eat» I mean «acquire french fries.»
It is not any of these things: new, obsolete, seasonal, etc.
The guy at the counter is forgiven for not knowing what it was, because he was nice (if completely taken aback) and asked his manager and coworkers if this mythical sauce I spoke of truly existed. After this was confirmed, I still didn’t get any. They keep it in the back, behind all the other legitimate sauces, I guess, and it ran away, sick of being neglected :(
P. S. It is not the same as Honey Mustard. Honey Mustard is nasty.

stopped by here to get something to drink — was hot and muggy outside! This place has plenty of seating and the staff was quick and efficient and took good care of the sea of humanity trying to get a quick bite!

I’m very conflicted about this place at first, the very first time I went to this McDonald’s I had a very bad experience with the counter person giving me lip about how «We haven’t had the Southern Chicken Biscuit on the menu for years!» Really, you could just say, we no longer have it on the menu! AND I literally got a chicken biscuit about a month ago at the 58^th and 3^rd location. I think he was just a bad apple.
Every time I come back I have had satisfactory service, so I can’t complain anymore. Depending on the time of day I have to wait a bit or get service very quickly. Most of the time I get in and out! The counter workers aren’t the most happiest but they get you your stuff and go.
Little tip while waiting in line, most of the time people crowd to the left and the lines on the right side are completely free. Move to the right to get faster service.
The best part of this McDonald’s is the décor it’s modern looking mostly clean for the amount of volume this place gets. And you definitely need to give the place some claps for its location, 34^th and 8^th, not always the most classy people roaming around that corner… crack house city…

Easily the nicest McDonald’s I’ve ever had the pleasure dining in.
It took me about three or four bites into my third Big Mac to remember I was on a quest.
