Legend Larry’s

I really want to hold on to my 5 stars; you know, save them for something special. Well, I gotta give larry’s the 5 spot. It’s just a bar and it’s not that cheap, but it’s got the best wings in the area. That alone is worth 4, and having Lakefront IPA on tap pushes it to the 5 zone. Well done.

Every time that I’m in manitowoc, I always have to stop to get my legend larrys fix! I’ve yet to find a flavor I don’t like. All of the sides are great as well. Can’t go wrong.

DOA is bad ass! Has the buffalo shrimp, moscow mule, fried shrooms, and vodka/​red bull. Delicious!

Was in town for vacation and Unilocal recommended Legend Larrys! Great wings, Great sauces. A little confusion on what was hotter, the scary larry or the DOA. My brother and I both agreed the Scary Larry was hotter. Would definitely order again!

Was in Manitowoc for work and a family member recommended Legend Larry’s, saying that they had some pretty great chicken wings. I decided to take my team to dinner with the recommendation and we were not disappointed.
The bar is a bit smaller than I imagined and not a lot of tables for groups. They don’t have solid menu’s but rather a notepad that you check what you want and your waiter comes and collects them. The one negative thing I will say is that the food took longer than usual and the waiter messed up our order (however, he did end up letting us keep the wrong order to eat for free!)
The one thing I hope you takeaway from my review is that the wings were AWESOME! They had different flavors that I have never tried before (Mango Carribean) and also had classic favorites (Honey BBQ) so there was a nice selection. The wings were fresh and fell off the bone and the sauces were a perfect mix of sweet & spicy. I would recommend ordering take-​out rather than dining in (if you aren’t drinking) but can’t wait to have some again soon!

Love me some legends. Ordered to go with my co-​workers and they forgot our ranch. Called them up and they were very nice and said they’d deliver some right away. 3 minutes Later they were there with extra ranch. What an awesome response to our request!

When I was in the military I tried wings almost everywhere I went, and none of them compared to Legend Larry’s!

Decent wings. My only complaint is the lack of different flavors and the ones I’ve tried are inconsistent in spiciness. I can have a flavor one day and the next time I try it it’s WAY too spicy. And I have a decent tolerance to heat. Delivery has been quick and dine in experience good.

I have tried to eat here three times. I am not a spicy wing fans, but friends wanted to go. So I got the boneless honey mustard wings, pretty much McDonalds chicken nuggets with sauce drizzled on them and the honey mustard was not the best. The second time I tried the teriaki wings and again not impressed.
I will say my friends swear by this place, but they all like the hottest two types of wings. They also never get boneless.

Legend Larry’s is a named Legend Larry’s for a reason… the wings were awesome! Ordered a dozen and ended eating only about 6 wings! The flavor was Original hot and was it hot. My cousin came and cleaned it up for me… lol The beer tap was decent. We drank about 4 glasses and stayed for 3 hours. Had a funny bartender who joked the entire time we where there. Great place to meet up with friends! Overall, would go back and eat more wings!

Stopped here when driving through. This place is a tavern.
The only food is chicken wings and sides. They were very good! They gave grief about ordering two sauces for 1 doz wings — and did not allow ⁶⁄₆ split. The Caribbean mango sauce was great.
They have a good tap selection and friendly service.

Best wings ever, tons of TVs for watching games.

I moved out of the state and whenever I’m back in the area I stop at Legend Larry’s. I love the wings even though they can be messy eating they are so worth it. My favorite is the honey barbecue. If I’m eating boneless I love the Caribbean mango. As for sides, I love the cheese curds and broccoli bites.
This place is always busy so you’d order may take awhile. There are plenty tvs, lots of beer on draft, and a kick ass juke box. Just keep in mind that the wings are spicier than most so be prepard to have a hot mouth or in my case, having our eyes sweat lol.

Best hot wings out there. They have won year after year at the buffalo wild wing contest that puts the best hot wing restaurants out there competing against each other.
