My first time here, and I will never come back. I know there are a lot of ppl that like this place! But, from the dirty floors, nasty table cloths, dust and grime where they cook. It also took way to long to get our food. Gezz move a little faster! To filthy for me to ever return. My food was the worst I’ve ever had and it was biscuits and gravy with 3 egg whites.

Driving through and thought this would be a good place to stop for lunch. Reviews seemed pretty good and we generally like local cafes and diners. There were quite a few customers when we arrived so we were ok at first waiting awhile for our food, but as all the customers left, and we were still waiting for our food it got pretty annoying. We saw orders after ours go to other tables and couldn’t figure out what was talking so long. We literally waiting about 30 min. for three orders of eggs — one was the Hobo omelet and two were the eggs on a corned beef raft. The waitress never refilled our drinks or checked back in after dropping off our food. The food was pretty good. The corned beaf and hash browns were nice and crispy. The restaurant was filthy though. Can’t guess when the last time the carpeted floor was vacuumed or the chairs were wiped down… so pretty disgusting surroundings. Old is ok… filthy is not. I don’t think we’ll stop again.

Must have been a bad day.. We’ve been waiting for nearly an hour for breakfast. We’ve asked for the food to-go so we can make the ferry.

I took my mom to this greasy spoon for her birthday because she really wanted their infamous pumpkin pancakes. The server was incredibly friendly and very attentive to us. We ordered a side of hash browns to share and told the server they didn’t need to be split. However we heard the chef who was standing at the grill behind the counter loudly say while cooking, «if someone wants them to be split, next time tell them to do it themselves.» There were a few mistakes to our order as well. I think what was most disconcerting was the fact the chef was coughing near the food being cooked and not wearing any gloves. Not sure we’ll be back but I’d be willing to give it another shot perhaps with a different chef.

Don’t know why I gave this a 3 Star? Must have been off the day I did my review! This is probably my go to breakfast place in town. Love the breakfast croissant sandwich. Waitresses are friendly and do a great job.

Really tasty burgers and a great variety. We order this at work at it’s always under $ 10 and u get fries and slaw. They always give extra condiments and are very thoughtful. They also walk it across the street for delivery!

If you’re looking for a great small town dinner, this is your location. There are some«bar stool» seats and then about 15 small tables. The grill is right out in the open so you’ll be able to see your food being prepared. It’s not a «stop the train» location and it’s missing most bakery items you’d like to see for breakfast. It’s a great hot breakfast location.

This is a nice little spot for breakfast! Everything that came to our table looked great. The service was friendly, and the coffee was pretty good. I would go back for sure.
