The service is instantaneous and the food is great. I ordered, looked at Unilocal food porn, then looked up and my order was being handed to me. The veggies were fresh and crisp, the chicken was lean and tasty and the sauce was I couldn’t stop eating good. I’ll be back.

The fact that they also sell burgers and fries should have gave away that they weren’t going to be that good. The portions were a good size, and their fried rice was amazing(coming from someone who doesn’t like fried rice). The orange chicken was horrible. It was all bread. I wasn’t impressed by the other entrees we got either. There’s much better Chinese places in Manteca.

When this place was first introduced to new management the food was delicious! I don’t know what exactly happened but the food here now is disgusting. For example, the house special fried rice was extremely bland, it had tasted like it was cooked in old recycled grease. Not sure what happened, and it looks like a lot of Unilocal customers still religiously eat here but I think I’ll stray away from this restaurant.

After reading the Unilocal reviews, me and my daughter decided to try it out. We both had a combo plate(to go), I got Mongolian beef & general tao’s chicken. She got potstickers and orange chicken. I didn’t care for the Mongolian beef, it tasted too much like the onion that was in it(I don’t like onions), but the meat was very tender. The chicken was VERY good! My daughter LOVED her orange chicken :) She also liked the potstickers. The chow mein tasted like any other I’ve had(yummy) and the fried rice wasn’t very good :( I love fried rice and this didn’t have much flavor. I’ll have to try it another time. The people were very friendly and welcoming, and the place was clean. We are definitely coming back !

Perfect — they make to order. No msg. Clean. Great service, too!!! I’m happy! Close to home and convenient in the town of Manteca! Wonderful Chinese food options! Only place to go to in area that is not greasy, too! Clean food and clean space!

I called in a delivery for the second time… same order… first time a younger very well spoken young man took my order… about 20 bucks on the order… we got delivery. he might have even brought it… bomb. Com… This time an older Asian man answered and we just couldn’t get on the same page. I gave same order as before… he wasn’t understanding… once I just said yes to his question he said it wasn’t enough for delivery. I exclaimed this can’t be true… reference before… it was 20 dollars. He told me 25 or no delivery… I said let me order something else then to total 25… he then told me 5 dollar delivery fee… I said let me just order some app to make 25 dollars. He then handed the phone to an Asian woman. She ANGRILY told me 5 dollar delivery fee. I told her I would just call somewhere else and she slammed the phone. WTF

The worst food I have probably ever eaten. I dk if it was just an off night bc I’ve had food from here before that was amazing but tonite was absolutely disgusting. maybe it’s under new management? I was so embarrassed because I raved about this place to my folks so they decided to try it. as we all dug into our take out boxes there was a long silent pause and then everyone looked at each other with a «wtf» look on our faces. The chow Mein, the rice, egg rolls, orange chicken. everything was disgusting. it had a weird after taste and reminded me of plastic needless to say all four entrees and appetizers were thrown away untouched and we got McDonalds… what a waste of $$$ never coming here again.

For a quick eat non-gourmet Chinese food, this place is delicious. The best thing is. NOMSG! Hands down the best Chinese food take out in Manteca. I’m Chinese and a food snob, so take this with a grain of salt. My pallet, might not be to your taste. But all I have to say is fresh ingredients, no MSG, and humble owners that treat their customers right.

Came here today for the first time based on Unilocal reviews. However, food was ok. I ordered the house fried rice(I rate it as 3⁄5), salt and pepper fish(3⁄5 also), and Mongolian chicken(1⁄5). The Mongolian chicken I ordered had an after taste which was very unpleasant. Also, it had vegetables mixed with. I never had Mongolian chicken with vegetables. I was expecting with fried noodles or shredded cabbage but it had mixed vegetables.

Holy crap. Frickin’ good. I think that sums it up, but I guess I should say more. First, I am a bit of a Chinese food snob. I recently started working in Manteca and have been on a mission to find some good Chinese food in that God forsaken place. I live in the Bay Area and over the past 10 years I have lived all over it from Napa, to Walnut Creek, to Vacaville, to Pacifica – in-between trying as much Chinese food as I can. This place definitely is near the top of my list. I was starting to come to the conclusion that Panda Express – which is just disgusting – was the best game in Manteca. But, being a Chinese food addict, PE was what I had to settle with as «Chinese food». That is to say: I have tried most of the Chinese in Manteca and it is B-A-D. I had driven by, and seen, Kitty’s many times with the«Chinese/American Cuisine» sign at store front, thinking that it can’t be that good if it serves both. One day I see an ad in the local paper for the place in the break room with prices I just couldn’t pass up(I want to say to say it was less than $ 6 for a lunch special). This led me to believe it was a «to-go» type place so was expecting the quality to be lacking. It isn’t a «to-go» place, so if your lunches are short like mine, phone it in and pick it up. The décor is great, but it does have more of Japanese restaurant feel(contrasting white and black).

Looked for a place on Unilocal. This place was such a wonderful place. Food was so tasty, cooked to perfection. Had pork fried rice. Amazing. Sweet sour chicken. Oh boy yummy. Pork chow mien. Best I’ve had. Service was very very polite and responsive. Thank you guys. I will be a full time customer. I’ll drive from Stockton just to have your great food and service. And cleanliness. 3 ½ stars. Three stars is «A-OK» and four stars is «I’m a fan». I’m in between. They have almost 100 reviews over four stars. That’s why I traveled all the way to Manteca to eat there. Honestly, I probably would not make a special trip again. We have some great choices for Chinese food right here in Stockton such as Dave Wong’s, Yen Du and Dynasty. This is a small family operation that puts out decent food, is friendly and has a clean restaurant. I ordered three items… a side of deep-fried prawns, wor wonton soup and a combination plate consisting of fried rice, chow mein, orange chicken and sweet-and-sour pork. Prawns. 3 stars Wor wonton soup. 5 stars Chow mein. 4 stars Fried rice. 4 stars Sweet-and-sour pork. 2 stars Orange chicken. 2 stars Sweet-and-sour pork and orange chicken had too much batter. Twice as much batter as meat inside. I also like a lighter better on the prawns. Soup was very good as was the chow mein and fried rice. Very clean restaurant… very friendly help and a big screen TV to watch the 49’ers! They do a brisk takeout business and I believe they also deliver locally. If you live in the area it would be worth checking them out. As for me, I will stay local next time for Chinese food.

Hot & Sour Soup, Mongolian Chicken, Cashew Chicken, Fried Rice, Chow Mien, & Hot Tea. Large portions, enough for lunch the next day and the next. The soup was so so. However the main course was extremely tasty. Service was quick & pleasant. The owner came by to check if we needed more tea before our meal came. My first time there, however the steady stream of customers were regulars as their interactions with the staff were familiar. I will definitely go back!

The place was cleaner than your average Chinese restaurant in this price range, and for the price, the food was excellent, portions were larger than I would have expected, I’ll be coming here again soon, or, phoning in my order«to go».

For central California Asian food, it can be hard to really call anything good. As far as cen cal Chinese cuisine goes this place kicks ass. Excellent chow fun and no MSG means it’s kid friendly. Family owned and operated, this place is the place for good Chinese cuisine in Cencal

Very good. I had fish w/lemon sauce and steamed vegetables. Both were very good! I noticed that they had many regulars come into the restaurant while I was enjoying the great meal and soda, all for under $ 10. It was a little unusual that I had pass through the kitchen to get to the restroom. But they were both very clean! I look forward to my next meal here!

i always eat here whenever i get the flu. same order always: the wor wonton soup, its like a mixed meat and veggie soup and fried tofu. I always seem to get better after. I like how they dont use MSG even if theyre a Chinese restaurant. You can tell that theres MSG usually when you feel sleepy or if they put too much youd have a massive headache after eating. I havent tried their burgers yet but i stick to their chinese food which taste good. there are not a lot of great restaurants here in Manteca but this is definitely one of the good ones. The restaurant is also clean though i havent tried eating there yet. i always take it to go. They are also on the dot when it comes to cooking and serving the food. i usually call to make an order and if they say 15 minutes they are right on time. will definitely eat here again!

People seem to rave about this place. I went, hoping for a lot of good. As I arrived in the parking lot, I noticed Dollar General on the far north side of the strip mall and Supercuts to the right of Kitty’s Kitchen. It’s a comfortable little place with booths and tables. I wasn’t sure how things worked, so I went to the counter. She asked«For here or to go?» and when I answered«For here», she told me to «Sit anywhere.», so I grabbed a menu and sat at booth. Unlike many places, I believe that all the tables and booths were clean. She was back and forth to the kitchen, but asked me what I wanted to drink, and returned with my iced tea quickly. I couldn’t find a lot on the menu that I would normally eat.(When faced with American-ized Chinese food, I usually order Hot and Sour Soup and Steamed Rice.) It’s definitely a menu for westerners. I guess that explains the many, many raves! :-) I ordered the Fish in Lemon Sauce, which I thought would be tart but when delivered, it was sticky sweet. It was cooked well and carefully arranged on the plate with plenty of steamed rice. It just wasn’t my kind of recipe. She asked about it, and we talked a bit. She said that she didn’t have an Asian-oriented menu because very few Asians live here but that she could make many familiar dishes.
