Great customer service man working is super kind!!! Good is delicious ! Me and my family always come here best Chinese spot in Manteca !!! Looking for good Chinese food this place really hits the spot the egg rolls are just the best!

Absolutely the best Hot & sour soup I’ve ever tasted. Everything we’ve had from here has been great. Plus they deliver and are very reasonably priced.

The food is okay at best. Its not bad or any of that such. But in case you are hungry for that gressy, gressy oriental food. It does the job, while hitting your pocket a lot lets. Now remember its not the place to take your girlfriend boyfriend out.

This family has been here for years. I love all their food. I would recomend the hot sour soup.

Silver chop stick has great fresh food. Owners are very nice and try to accommodate you. I have ordered 3 – 4 times and each order was hot and fresh and delicious to include the egg rolls. I recommend this place to anyone who wants fresh and plentiful portions. Sweet & Sour sauce was fresh and delicious. Just ordered beef and broccoli and 2 orders of chicken and string beans and 6 egg rolls. My mouth is watering as I wait for my food to be prepared to go.

The food is decent at best and leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered the individual meal of Orange Chicken with Fried Rice. Both were extremely lacking in flavor.
While the orange chicken was freshly made and crunch, you could barely taste the orange sauce; if anything you taste more the batter than the orange sauce.
The fried rice had a great fluffy, but not overly fluffy, texture. It was not greasy which is also a plus. On the down side the flavor is also non existent. Aside from the little cuts of meat and veggies mixed in, it tastes almost like a regular steamed white rice.
For the 3 of us our total bill was about $ 19. A single meal with 1 item is about $ 4.50, cant remember how much for multiple entrees.
They are built as a to go place but also have a decent sized seating area with tables if you want to dine in. All meals are placed in a to go container as well which is convenient if you are dining in but dont finish your food.
Overall this place is decent as best. It has been around for years but probably mainly because they offer good portions for the price. If you have a choice, kitty’s kitchen is a much better option.

My family and I ate here hoping for some decent Chinese food and we all thought the food was horrible. It was very bland and some of it was just gross. We didn’t even end up eating the food. On the bright side and the only reason I’m giving this place two stars is my daughter had a teriyaki bowl and she did like it. I’m not a fan of New China but it is definitely better than this place.

4 and ½ stars is a complete lie but on the other hand very cheap and fast. Very basic taste and the place is complete hole in the wall.

Can be hit or miss, but the people that work there are very nice. As of late the food has been spot on. The garlic chicken was super yummy, and boneless!

I tried this place be because someone said it was better than New China. Wrong! Dont get me wring they were super nice even though I could barely understand them. I took my food home and I thought they got my order wrong because it didn’t even smell good. The order was right but the food was horrible. Very bland and unsatisfying

This is a sticky table basic Chinese restaurant. The steam table items are minimal but they add the sauce to all of the fried meat so it tastes fresh. If you order family style the food is made fresh. I bought party trays from them today and everyone loved the food. If your looking for PF Chang décor then your defiantly in the wrong place but if you want good basic Chinese take out then try them out.

I make it a deal to judge a place upon how their Mongolian Beef (MB) tastes. I also ask places to add the white crispy fried noodles into the MB. It lends a unique flavor that brings MB over the top. Anyways, I called around and only two restaurants in Manteca will accomodate my request. That includes this place and Forum Dynasty (FD) near Raleys. All the others will not accommodate me. Between Silver Chopsticks (SC) and FD, FD put celery into my dish. A big no no for this dish. SC told me that they normally don’t add the noodles but they said that they will do it since I asked. All in all, the flavor of their MB was superior to all the others none the less. This place’s MB beats many from Stockton to Modesto. Now, to try more dishes from this ‘hole in the wall’.

It doesn’t look like much, but this is probably one of the best family restaurants in Manteca. My family has been going here for years and they have always been very kind with great customer service. With their low prices, and great attitude, I would highly recommend.

I don’t understand or agree with the low ratings for this place. Silver Chopstick is located in a pretty ordinary shopping center but a lot of the dishes are standouts.
I’ve had the following:
1.) Wor Won Ton Soup
2.) Hot & Sour Soup
3.) Vegetable Egg Rolls
4.) Beef Chow Fun
5.) Honey Walnut Prawns
6.) Sauteed Mix Vegetables in Garlic Sauce
My favorites are the Beef Chow Fun, the Honey Walnut Prawns, and the Mixed Vegetables! =)
The restaurant itself may not be too notable, but it’s about the quality of the food! The owners are VERY NICE and they’re also VERY METICULOUS and CLEAN (which is very important to me).

The pork teriyaki is delicious. The best part is the sauce… there isn’t anything sweet about it and its amazing! The pork tastes like roasted pork and its kind of crispy. Really enjoy the food, portions, and price! Haven’t tried the pre-​made hot bar because we always get foods to order and they’re always good. Salt & pepper chicken wings aren’t bad either. Will be going back!

Gotta say. after all sorts of talk from my wife about this place it just fell way short of my expectations. The staff was dry and tired. If the staff was like that, you know they didn’t put any care into their food. It was pretty sad. The portions were small and what I got was soggy and nasty. It could have been just the day that I went, but if you’re going to run a food joint, you should make sure you’re spot on every single day. I won’t be back, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have your own opinion of it. Who knows, maybe you’ll be on here yelling at me for the bad review. haha

I honestly don’t know why this place has 4 ½ stars?! You gotta be kidding me. One (or a combination) of things could cause Unilocalers in Manteca to rate this place so high: 1. That Manteca has such bad Chinese Restaurants that this place is the least worst. 2. Manteca Residents haven’t had REALLY good Chinese Food. But then again the reviewers compared this place to Panda Express… I should have known. The only reason this place resembles a Panda Express is that it is a to-​go kinda place. You don’t really eat there. Bust since starvation got the best out of me and my group of friends and my blind belief in Unilocal Reviews steered the way and we had no other acceptable food options we went in. I was already starting to get dizzy so I had to eat something. We all ordered a 2 combination plate. I wondered why it was less than $ 5. I had the broccoli beef… most disgusting thing ever and the sweet and sour pork. I thought I picked normal/​safe items. I don’t know if the sweet and sour pork was actually really good, or that I was so hungry that it tasted good. Not amazing… but good. The Chow Mein was overly oily and the fried rice was bland. I also ordered pork buns on the side… so glad I did. Those were actually really good. Small, but the star of my meal… less than $ 3 for 3 buns.
Lessons Learned:
1. Be skeptical of places without Unilocal Elite reviews!
2. Don’t trust a place with less than 20 reviews!

I am never going to Panda express again!
But on a side note, this is some of the best Chinese food I have ever had! It was very tasty and filling but light. They also have thin noddle chow mein which I love!
I will be coming back here again! Oh and the price, less than $ 5 for a two item combo take out, not bad at all!
