The Zalads are so awesome! Love this place! They don’t skimp and are really fresh and fast

I’ve been to this location twice and was not impressed at all. The first time I ordered(drive-through) a chicken Caesar salad and the croutons were very soggy. No crunch at all left in them. I only live one mile away, so it’s not like I waited an hour before eating. The second time I ordered a chicken finger dinner(take out). The fries were very cold, which of course is never pleasant and can ruin a French fry craving! The chicken was still pleasantly warm so I know it wasn’t a timing issue with me getting into the food.

Near home, so here frequently. Great food, great wings, great zalads. Drive through is competent which is kinda rate it seems. Try the bones less medium wings.

Overall I was very pleased with my dining experience. It’s well maintained and the food tastes great. I especially love the Zax sauce. On this occasion, I brought my son. I ordered the Big Zax Snack Meal which comes wtih two fingers, crinkle fries, toast, and a drink. I would have been happier if it came with 3 fingers. My son got the Kid Fingers Meal which came with two fingers, crinkle fries, a drink, and a pack of gummies. I absolutely loved the taste of the crinkle fries, as did my son as that was the focus of his dinner.

I don’t see how this place deserves the low rating it has. If you judge this in comparison with other fast food places, I think it stands up really well. In fact, it’s one of the few fast food places I might come back to. I almost might give it four stars. I’m not a wing eater, so can’t speak to the wings, and really wouldn’t come to a fast food place for wings anyway. In terms of chicken sandwiches, though, I think it’s a pretty good place. I came here for a late night meal and was overall pleased with the experience. I had a chicken sandwich meal deal. The sandwich was really good, with a nice piece of chicken in between two pieces of Texas Toast and with a buffalo sauce slathered on that gave it a nice kick. It was much better than what I have had at Chick-Fil-A. The Texas Toast is the differentiating factor. The fries were also pretty good. They were fairly large size and not too greasy. The interior was exceptionally clean and I found the interior decorations kind of nice for a fast food place. There were a couple of televisions tuned in to College Football games. The server at the counter was friendly and polite, and I got my food about one minute after I ordered it. The only problem I could find is that the food was not quite piping hot, but really that was OK.

If you absolutely, positively have to get your wings on, this will fill the void. But for the price — $ 18 for 20 wings — you won’t feel real good about it. Sauces are OK, the Original is a classic Buffalo style with nice tang, and Nuclear kicks up the cayenne to painful levels — but no real complexity in these offerings. And given how horrid the Zack Sauce and the their default ranch packets are, I’m not real interested in exploring other options. Basically Zaxby’s locations trade on speed — you could drive further away and wait longer for much better wings at lower prices, but admit it, sometimes we are too lazy and hungry to do that. As a result, Zaxby’s is the 7⁄11 of the wing world.

Very nice restaurant. Wings are very testy. Fast service and nice testy sandwich. Far better than McDonald

Arrived approx 1:30 pm on Sunday, 12÷29÷13. Dining room not full. Several tables available & no wait to order at counter. They were not busy. All available tables had not been cleaned from previous customers. All available tables had bits & crumbs of food. All available tables had greasy fingerprints, greasy handprints & greasy smears. One of our party cleaned a table while the others ordered. Simple order… Chicken strips, celery sticks & drinks for four people. The order taker told us that it would be a few minutes. We all sat down to our table that had been perfectly by one of our own. When the food was delivered, we were treated to some chicken strips, some sandwiches & no celery sticks. Our order was mostly wrong! The food delivery lad scooted off completely confused because, as he told us, he was told to bring that food to our table. Our drink cups were delivered & we each were completely successful in finding the soft drink machine & drawing our own. The food delivery lad showed up the second time with a plate of chicken strips for us to divide. We considered that as a peculiar kind of progress. Still no celery sticks. Our delivery lad gave us his friendliest, «My bad !!!» And trundled off again. As quick as a flash, he was back with a plat of celery sticks for us to divide. The plate was so full that a good many celery sticks had fallen onto the greasy tray that he used to bring the food to us. Our delivery lad was nice enough to hold it over the center of the table & say, «mmmm … Y’all wanna get em celery sticks off th tray ?» We declined his kind offer & the trundled off again. Moments later, the youngest of our group realized that she was completely without ketchup for her chicken. The oldest of our group went to the condiment counter & found that the ketchup pumping machine which holds 1 gallon + was completely empty. Upon stepping over to the uncrowded counter & telling someone, we were informed that the ketchup would be right out. Five minutes later, the same person was waiting at the ketchup pumping machine & the same person behind the counter assured all in hearing distance that the ketchup would be right out. And it happened … Our same delivery lad came out, picked up the ketchup pumping machine & took it to the back. Five minutes later. Our same delivery lad brought the ketchup pumping machine back & sat it on the counter. With a hearty, «my bad» he disappeared again. When we walked over to the condiment counter to get ketchup we took one of the flimsy 1 ounce construction paper ketchup cups & pressed on the ketchup pumper. The top of the ketchup pumper was covered in soapy handprints. Also the top would no longer stay on the machine. Back at the still uncrowded counter, the same lady if great perception said, «is anything wrong, sir?» When asked if she was the manager, our lady of great perception said, «No!» As she quickly joined us at the newly washed ketchup pumping machine. Well, we changed our mind about using the newly washed ketchup pumping machine, requested some of those maddening little packets that are so sparingly passed out at the drive in window & made our way back to our table. Our lady of great perception was very astute in resolving our ketchup dilemma, though. She sent our delivery lad out with 2 dozen packet of ketchup. It arrived as we were putting on our coats to leave. He consoled us with his very best rendition of, «My bad !» Going back? You guess!!! There is a Chick-fil-a less than a quarter of a mile away & I can resist eating chicken on Sunday. However, Zaxby’s chicken is far superior to Chick-fil-a.
