Very good food and great service. After seeing a few negative reviews I was concerned. I called to see if there was a wait, gave my name and went. Our table, for 4 adults and 2 children(high chairs) was ready when we got there 20 minutes later. The service was fast and friendly, the food was great. Ample parking and room inside to move around with the kids. The menu has Italian classics and a few dishes you’ve never had, but should absolutely try. My grand daughter loved her hot dog AND my crabs and sketties!

A great experience throughout. Great service from the minute I walked in the door. My girlfriend and I shared the meatballs for an appetizer. Perfect amount; and delicious. Our server Jeff was nice attentive and helpful. The owner Wes talks to every table. I have been a regular in the ocean city area every summer and was sad to see Obadiah had closed. However, this is a fine establishment and is on its way to great things. I highly recommend eating here. Cappuccino was delicious too. Dessert spread looks amazing.

Mediocre at best. I would not recommend. Better meatballs at subway. Poor service, and week menu. Overpriced

The lobby smells like mildew. The lobster bisque was bland. The lasagna was overcooked, black and hard along the edge. The spaghetti and meatballs weren’t anything special, just average. This was my first and last visit. Don’t waste your money.

Place smells awful. Like mildew? Musty? An old aqaurium? Hard to say. Took a while for water and bread. Iced tea was waaaaay strong. I wrote both the bread and tea off to being late and close to closing? Calamari app was very small but decent. House salads were very dressed. Entrees were mixed… vodka penne was decent but too saucy. Meatballs were(or seemed to be) overly processed and spongy. Sausage was way dry. Pasta was done well but sauce was pretty boring. For $ 100(three adult meals 1 child… no alcohol) I expected much better. Service was decent. Our server was on it for the most part. The place is kind of dingy. Bar looked fun. I probably wouldn’t go back.

I’ve dined all over the world and congrats! this was hands down the most disgusting meal I’ve ever eaten. Cold appetizers, sandy seafood, greasy entrée and melted ice cream. The staff is clearly overwhelmed as was the kitchen. I’m just glad we didn’t get sick because we heard the refrigerator/freezer was not working properly. The table in front of us walked out. Nice waiter though and he tried like heck to make up for it, but the manager was clearly overwhelmed with all the complaints. This place is a disaster and forever off my list, waste of over 100 bucks. Run, don’t walk.

This used to be Obidahs which was a decent restaurant. But now is a seafood /Italian restaurant. When you walk in they ask if you want seafood or Italian. Italian you go right seafood you go left. Jeff was our server and he was very pleasant. I ordered a Sunday Dinner which was a Penne pasta with tomato sauce, pork, and meatballs. The pork didn’t have much flavor to it but the meatballs were KILLER! Seriously I love these meatballs. Never had anything like them before Will sure to go back here again in the future.

Food was average. Italian sauce is a very individual thing. The sauce here is a bit on the thicker, heavier side with a lot of herbs and spices. Gnocchi and sausage was ordered and the sketties with meatball. Nothing great about it and nothing horrible except sausage was dried out and overcooked. Tasted burnt or like it had been on the stove all day. Two people at our table of six had the sausage with same result. Not much else to say because I won’t return

My wife and I had dinner there last evening and here are the highlights… and one minor lowlight. PROs — I ordered spaghetti with meatballs. I come from a large Italian family and they definitely cleared the bar. The sauce(or gravy if you prefer) was flavorfull and the meatballs were both large and well made. Too much filler ISNOT an issue here. — My wife ordered their crabcakes. They were fresh, tasty and all genuine lump crab meat. Awesome! — Our server was very good. She was personable and attentive despite having several tables seated simultaneously(see CON) — Wes(not sure if he is the owner or the GM) came around to personally meet his customers. He genuinely cares about the dining experience and it shows — The pricing is more than fair and even more so if you consider the food quality and portions. CON — Their host had just left to go back to school and the young girl at the front has much to learn; both with learning how to properly seat customers and fill a station and with how to positively be the face of the establishment. To be fair, she was very, very young We will return and encourage anyone on the fence to give them a try!

So disappointed Four of us ate at OBCrabs. Was surprised the waiter told us most seafood was frozen. The king and queen crabs were fresh and he recommended them. Had an order of each. Both were very salty. King crab was also dry and not very flavorful. Also had the Talapia, one regular and one blackened. Each plate had small piece and came with one small side. That’s all. Blackened Talapia was way over seasoned. The chef definitely needs some more training. This place is way over priced for the quality of food. Please find some where else to go. I don’t recommend. When there is something wrong with everyone’s food, then its time to eat some where else.

Recently in early August, we were part of a reservation for18 people who are not always easy to please. Our waitress Brittany was awesome! She was pleasant and accommodating. The food was very good. The interior makeover of the restaurant went from dull to inviting. We will definitely return.

Meh. I’ve had waaaaay better. The oregano clams are gross… The crab cake was decent. The dessert was pretty good. I dunno what it is but there is a thread of mediocrity that shines through. My recommendation, get a new chef, revamp the menu, and get some solid dishes! If they tried a little harder it would show.

Sketties was a horrendous experience. We went with reservations and was seated and waited 30 minutes for a server. They took our appetizer and drink order and then we waited another 25 minutes for our server to even return. He must of walked past our table five times. We asked for a manager twice and the staff gave us attitude so we started to leave while one waiter cursed at and wanted to fight my father for just telling him to go get your manager. The people there are awful. The service was terrible. We’ll never go back.

This review is for the OB Crab side of the restaurant. We went for an early weeknight dinner in a party of six. A bit dismayed that Obadiah’s was gone, but hoping for the same delicious food we remembered. They were able to accommodate us quickly, which was great. The unmanageably wobbly table was less great. As a party of six, we needed three separate checks. We discussed this with the waitress at the very beginning of the meal and while she was able to make it work, it seemed to be a really significant challenge. That trend of service continued. The food? It was tasty. Portions were solid, prices were reasonable for the area. I would still highly recommend the crab cake and the lobster chowder. The fish and chips and lobster/crab roll were also very well received. Maybe it’ll get better, but for now, take out is probably your best option. There’s no ambiance to miss out on and you can enjoy the food without the strained service.

Good food at a good price and a great staff. Had Father’s Day there. The cold tomato soup with crab is to die for. I had the Ceasars salad made the right way with anchovies followed by the lasagna with meat sauce was excellent, huge portion. Desert great finish, the Lemonchello excellent. Now the waitress Stacy was the best, very pleasant. Made us feel at home. Not to mention she RAN out to me in my car with my leftover lasagna. I’ll be eating here again soon.

Not too impressed. The lasagna did not resemble lasagna, it was flat so I would not identify it as lasagna. The sauce was thick and good. Soda is $ 3.00 for the size of a wine glass. I had to keep asking for refills which seems unnecessary. Please, use larger soda glasses! For three people we received three pieces of(good) bread in the bread basket. Come on now… could you spare it??? The prices seem reasonable but everything is ala carte which jacks up the price by the time you are done ordering. Service was adequate. Desserts were good and not over priced.

Nice atmosphere, good food, good prices, friendly staff but they were understaffed and had long waits, I got the chicken saltimbocca which was good but the menu states provolone cheese but they used sharp provolone which overpowered the dish. Eggplant dish had very little flavor, lobster bisque was very good and other dish was a seafood dish which was also good.

Great service, nice atmosphere and decently priced, but you get what pay for. Crab cake was cold, it was taken back, and no free drink or perk!
