JG score of 3.5÷10(+1.5 for food, 0 for atmosphere, 0 for price, 0 for no Diet Dr Pepper, +1 for service and +1 for we would return) The food we had here was good. The pimento cheese and Carmelized bacon and spring mix wrap was very filling and stuck with us for a long time. It was a good tasting wrap with a large portion of pimento cheese and bacon that was good and drowned out. We liked its texture too. We started our meal with a bowl of French Onion soup that was alright and the hummus which was good but better then many we have had because it was covered with tomato and black olive and cucumber chunks. It was a surprisingly good lunch for us. The atmosphere is really not much. It is set in the back of a store. The man preparing our food told us it is owned by the Blue Frog owner and whereas that place now only serves dinner at Charlie’s, this place is the lunch/sandwich extension of that… they only serve lunch here. The price was over $ 15 each. We each had a wrap and tea and split the hummus. J got the soup so his bill was higher than mine. No Diet Dr Pepper. We were told they only have Diet Coke in a can. The service by the older man who prepared our food was nice. He offered us samples to try for another visit and was interested on how it all was. We were given extra chips to try things with too. Of course, we were almost the only ones there too. This place was better than we initially gave it credit. We will be back to try the sample platter of salads.
