Fuddruckers

Such a great atmosphere and really good burgers. My team and I stopped in for lunch here a while back and I waited to write this review because I wanted to make sure they were consistent. OMG the burgers are AMAZING!
The food was up fast and the aides bar is always clean and well stocked. I come here pretty frequently now because I’m hooked on these burgers. The Kobe is so good I just can’t get enough.
If you are in the area definitely stop in you won’t be disappointed one bit. From first to last bite the burger is perfect. Not too many places can get medium rare right anymore because most places overcook their meats bug these cooks are on the ball.

First time going to Fuddruckers, I had a ½lb burger, fries and a shake. The meal was outstanding. The staff had some issues though. They were busy and it was clear that they were overwhelmed and not working together very well.
They were snapping at each other pretty often, and it was obivous that the young lady behind the counter was having a pretty bad day. They food turned out fine though, so I can’t really complain too much. It just takes away from the experience a little when you’ve got the staff flooding the place with bad vibes.

Went there driving g a school band trip. Got one of our orders wrong and had to wait 30+ minutes for a refire that we where told would only take 5 or 6. Then when we went to have our tickets fixed for being bus drivers they said they could only give one free, even though we had to wait 30+ minutes for the refired ordered. I would never recommend this location to anyone else know matter how big or small your group size is.

So my first impression of this place was, yikes. it looks super run down and there are no cars in the parking lot. But never judge a book by its cover! The building may be old but the people who work there are extremely friendly people. And the burgers are delicious and made on the spot. I also ordered the fish and chips which was greased to perfection! Will definitely be back for some more burgers and fries!

MY go to place when i cant find a decent burger anywhere. Love this place. Downsides though are fellow customers. 3 times ive been their recently screaming, annoying kids and the spot you get your condiments was pretty filthy

I had only been to a Fuddruckers once when they first opened in the late ‘80s and had a burger which was fresh and delicious! Decided to go to this one on 10÷12÷15 and try them out. Yes, I know, why get a salad at a place known for burgers? But, I am so glad I made the decision to do so. Their salads are not cheap. With tax, mine was $ 9.34. But look at my salad!!! It was huge! And delicious! And worth the money. Great service and while I was waiting for my order, they had a sweets counter which I hoped I didn’t see something good, lol. Wrong answer. A sugar cookie was calling my name and it was delicious also. I look forward to returning to this location and this time trying their turkey burger where I can choose all the delicious toppings they offer. Thank you Fuddruckers, job well done.

This is always a good option for burgers and shakes. I consider it an «oldie but goodie.» This location has been around for years and is always nice to visit. Good customer service, range of fresh toppings for your burgers, and the signature wedge fries. This was my first time trying the chicken sandwich and it was marginal… I would stick with a burger when going to Fuddruckers.

And, gluten free bun is $ 2.00 each??!
2 burgers, 1 onion ring, 2 drinks= $ 32.57!!?

Great food, great staff, great experience. We got there at the beginning of a huge late lunch /​early dinner rush. People were lined out the door. The staff rocked it without blinking an eye, very professional and friendly staff. I will be back soon for sure.

I hadn’t been back here for at least 16 years. I was surprised it was still here with so many places closing. It was incredible. I didn’t recall it being this good. Man. Those fries!!! Please frequent this place as we need the good places to stay open!

I went to Fuddrucker’s yesterday. The ²⁄₃ pound burger was one of the best in a long time. The manager was very joyfully greeting patrons. She made you feel very welcome. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. The location closest to me recently closed. I will return to Matteson in the future.

Burgers are life and Fuddruckers knows burgers. The ½ lb burger combo is a great meal for anyone that likes burgers and wedge fries. I like everything about this place.

We don’t have any Fuddruckers near us anymore so when I saw this location was close to some friends on our way into Chicago, I was all over it. It was just as good as I remembered and was glad to see they had the jalapeño cheese that I could dip my potato wedges in and the burgers were still tasty, well seasoned without being salty. Will definitely be back when we’re in the area!

A pretty solid place. I can’t say I was blown away –admittedly, I got a turkey burger to be a ilttle bit more on the healthy side. I know it is not as delicious as regular ground beef.
Overall, it reminded me of Portillo’s. It was like the hamburger version of Portillo’s. It was solid food, it just wasn’t quite 4 stars.
A good experience and I would be willing to try it again and go all out and try a «real» hamburger.

Yum. Had the veggie burger and it was good. Although I wish the veggie burger came with something on it. Its pmain for around $ 7 and cheese is extra where most of the other burgers thats included. But still delicious. Fries are awesome. And don’t even try the cookies because you won’t stop cracibg them.

Traveling to Chi-​town for my sons wedding so was unfamiliar with the area. Checked my trusty Unilocal app to see what was good around the hotel and Fudds got the best reviews.
Gotta say there were a couple first impressions that nearly made me move to e next restaurant: 1) The presence of several dead Halloween looking trees surrounding the building, 2) Hardly anyone in the parking lot at 6:30pm, 3) Grass about knee high in the median. I actually wondered if they were no longer in business.
After confirming they were indeed still open, I decided to trust the Unilocal reviews and overall I’m glad I did. Burger was good, fries were fresh, and apparently everyone around here eats late because the place starting filling up around 7:00.
Giving only three stars because of the first impression thing as well as the lettuce and pickles in the «help your self» bins were brownish and dry and the sliced tomatoes looked like they had been there awhile. Food itself was good and would eat there again.

Sometimes I really miss the veggie burger but the black bean burger is good too. They recently changed the seasoning on the onion rings and french fries, which is very good and has an extra spicy kick. The restaurant is usually clean. If something looks out of place or left behind from someone who left then a bus boy will quickly clean the area of you ask. Sometimes they circle and clean when you don’t ask. We’ve been here several times, usually in a small to medium-​size group. It’s a nice place to hang out with family and friends, especially after a movie or other outing. Good food and YES I will be back!
I will consider 5 stars when the black bean burger has more of a firm outside. Consider using quinoa as an outer coating before cooking or sear it longer on a regular basis without the customer having to ask. The texture is generally soft because of the bean mixture but the cooked texture does not have to be. Don’t change the flavor! Thanks for the non-​meat option :-)

I still love this place sooo much, seriously. On a Wednesday, my husband suggested Fuddruckers for dinner on Friday, it was all that I could think about for days and days. I’ve been trying to eat healthy lately, but it was just a ruse so I could go to Fuddruckers and consume massive amounts of their jalapeño cheese. (5 cups to be precise. Don’t judge me.)
What’s so good about this place? First off, the cheese. Duh. I don’t even like liquid cheese – in fact, I usually go so far to ask that the liquid cheese in my meals be replaced with shredded cheese. This is the only passable liquid cheese. It. is. divine. The topping bar is almost as good too, because it’s always so fresh and delish. I always add pico, lettuce, and raw onions to my burger.
If those kinds of toppings aren’t your thang and you’re more into grilled onions and mushrooms, they have those too. They have plenty of choices that pretty much anyone should be able to find something to eat.
As of lately, my favorite choices have been the exotic meats. They are usually tastier and less greasy. You can also go bun-​less for lots of low carb goodness!

Very pricey, but excellent burgers for a chain. Love that they (at least at this location, I’m not sure if other Fuddrucker’s also do this) serve beer at this location. I’d definitely come back, providing I’m in the mood of spending a lot of money, and want something a step up from a Culver’s burger (and where a location happens to be nearby).
Points to this location for having Coke Freestyle machines.
