The Giordano in the city taste a lot better, but this location taste awful and let’s not even start with the service. The service was rude, like many other commented. I wish the the next time I come back they woul fix the issue. I love eating at Giordano, but I guess I would have to go to the city.

I grew up on the north side and I know what this franchise should taste like. With that being said I have visited this location 3 times. My first visit I spent over $ 127.00 and the pizza taste like cardboard box the cheese was NOT smooth and the crust was not buttery. My second visit the oven was not working properly and we order salad instead. My third visit it was a party of 18 and the waitress Letra did her best to accommodate us. Because our food was not right. I called and emailed corporate, but never received a response. I grew up on Giordanos and even worked for them during the taste of Chicago. But if you have to eat here think twice.

Borderline FRAUDULENT. Order a Southside Italian beef with fries $ 9.25 and a piece of «Layer Cake» $ 6.25. Took an hour and a half to arrive. The cake is described on their website as «A big slice with vanilla ice cream and Ghirardelli chocolate sauce» LOLLLLLL… The ice cream came in one of those little cups you normally get a side of ranch in, the slice of cake was TINY. I really feel ripped off considering after delivery and tax it cost me $ 21.98 and then another 5 $ i should NOT have given to the driver. I will never order from another Giordano’s as long as i live and ill make sure to bring up my experience to anyone considering.

Overall this location has improved. At 5pm on Saturday the service is prompt and pleasant. The atmosphere is modern and appealing. However, in my husband’s and my opinion, the deep dish large special pizza is thin. It is supposed to have sausage, onion and bell pepper. A lot of the ingredients were missing.

This place is more horrible than I thought. Have them serval chances and this last and final time is it. Ordered a medium deep dish and onion pizza for delivery at 12:15 gets here at 2 cool whatever I know it takes them a lifetime to make pizza. But it gets here and looks like my 3 year old son made it called in right after I opened the box and the manger is horrible he wants to send me another pizza that’s going to another Hr to get to my house I tell him I don’t wanna anther pizza what else can he do. He says he can’t do anything but 10% off like this is a joke I don’t want anything free but 10% after waiting two hours for a pizza that’s not even hot or warm come on now. The overall service here is bad from waking in and sitting and ordering online to getting pizza I hope they go out of business because they need a whole new owner or management I’m so disgusted of spending my money with them but even more mad of the level of poor service from a company.

First, I simply want to start by saying the pizza is like«Heaven» or at least what I would image if heaven were pizza. I also understand that it takes significantly longer cooking a deep dish pizza, but I walked from my parents home which included crossing a highway in a shorter amount of time than it took to received my food. I believe in this business and I want to see this business succeed. It’s in a great location and now whenever I visit my parents I don’t have to drive downtown just to eat deep dish pizza. Management please work on the wait time the restaurant is already in what some would consider a «black neighborhood» «urban» or how every you want to slice it; lets just show that world class service can be deliver on the south side of Chicago as well. I love Giordano’s. I grew up eating Giordano’s and I’m very familiar with their quality. With that being said, today is the third time I have ordered from this location, and will be the last time. While the food is semi ok(certainly not the Giordano’s best that I’m used to) the service is immensely horrible. I ordered online at 5:00 and I just got my order now at 7:15. At around 6:30 I call and was told that my driver«should be on his way» and when I asked if they had even left yet, the person on the phone told me «I’m not sure but I don’t see why they haven’t left.» Really?! The other 2 times that I have ordered here, the delivery was just as slow. I thought I would give them one last try, but they failed. Never again. Update: I just received a phone call from the manager of this location. I must say that he was completely apologetic and as far as customer service goes, I appreciate that. He suggested that the next time, I ask for a manager if I am waiting a long time, in addition to other suggestions. Because of this exceptional customer service, I will return to this location to give them another chance.

If I could do minus stars I would. We went on this Tuesday night to grab a pizza and have a nice family dinner. We ended up eating at a different local pizzeria. I would say the service was bad, but then one should have to have been served. We arrived about 6:45 and we seated by a nice lady a few minutes later. Then we waited… At 7:05. We decided to leave having not been acknowledged or contacted by anyone in the restaurant. As we were leaving surprisingly enough we were still not acknowledged. Clearly the management of this place has no idea how to run a restaurant. Do not bother going it is not worth the time…

Right now I am wearing a Santa hat that says«Naughty». Let me tell you why. I went here for lunch today, the Friday right before Christmas. I was out for 1 hr 15 mins. I came back to work from lunch and my boss looked at me and said«Wear this hat backwards»(and naughty was on the back, the front said«nice»). So what does this mean? I was out at lunch because the service was slow. It took 30 mins between asking for the bill to getting able to leave. Not just because we are slow. The service is slow. The food is decent. Some things are pricey. Rating relates to slow service and the fact that I am late.

The pizza was standard Giordano’s. which isn’t bad. The service though… Three hours for delivery. They will tell you though, that your food is on the way and it should be there any minute. And by minute they mean hours.

Stopped for dinner ordered ahead due to the time to make the pizza. We got there before the pizza was ready and ate inside. We had a great server and the food was fresh and very good. Also They have a really good beer list too. Try the Anti– Hero Ipa. It was great!

This wasn’t our first choice for dinner, but we knew the name and it was close to our shopping. We ordered our drinks, that was a fast delivery to our table. We wanted the sampler appetizer, but don’t care for mushrooms. The waitress said the management didn’t allow any substitutions. Perhaps with a 1 and a half star rating on here do to customer service, the should reconsider that decision. Ordered a deep dish pizza, we were told 45 minutes. I am writing this while we wait. We shall see. Right on time. Pizza was hot and delicious.

Was told my pizza would take 1.5 hours. It has been over two hours and I’m still waiting for my pick up order and no one can tell me how much longer I have to wait. I will not be back!

After calling a minimum of 10 times and them either not answering or hanging up in our face, we were finally able to speak with a live person who sounded as if they would have preferred to be anywhere but there. She told us they closed at 9pm, we asked could we be seated as late as 8:30 because we were 30 minutes away. After talking in circles a couple of times she said it we be no problem. We arrived around 8:25 only to be told we could be seated but our wait for a pizza would be a minimum of 1 hour and 45 minutes! Huh how’s that possible if they close at 9:00PM? Needless to say we walked out. I only saw kids throughout the entire establishment. Where’s the manager? I’ve tried patronizing this restaurant at least 5 times and they’re always closed or about to close and no longer seating. This place is down the street from my home but I promise I will no longer attempt to patronize them! Good luck in this disorganized venture. I’m now at Aurelio’s Pizza in Frankfort about to dig in!

Let me preface this review by saying i grew up eating giordano’s spinach pizza. But i must say this was the absolute worst experience i have ever had at a giordano’s restauraunt. The food was normal guordano’s quality but the wait staff was awful and lacked basic customer service skills. Servers fought over who would serve my girlfriend and I(to not serve). Once we did get a server she could not take a simple pizza and ceasar salad order. Another table waited 30 minutes for a server to see them. And yet another server repeatedly manhandled straws as they moved in glasses. She would actually put her hand on the top of the straw push it down in the glass and the serve the drink to customers. This wait staff will be the reason this restaurant fails. Management must remedy these basic serving issues before they can expect repeat business. I am very disappointed and I do not plan on visting this establishment again until something is done with this awful service.
