I drive past this Peachtree all the time, so I’m not sure why this is my first time visiting this place. The building was a Dennys Restaurant for at least 25 years, until about 7 years ago when Peachtree came in… Honestly, it still looks like Dennys from the outside AND inside. It doesn’t look like they’ve made any improvements in décor. For that, there isn’t anything attractive about the place– pretty basic paint/wallpaper, standard booths and tables, stock lighting, and unremarkable wall hangings Nevertheless, the restaurant was clean, the hostess was quick to seat me, and the waitress was friendly. The menu options consist of traditional breakfast/lunch items. I selected Fresh Country Scrambled Eggs, Country Potatoes, English Muffin, and Ham Off the Bone. Nothing fancy, right??? Well, let me say my food was scrumptious!!! My Fresh Country Scrambled Eggs seem like a simple menu item. But, I often have difficulty at various breakfast spots, because so many restaurants bring them out to me: baked, fluffed, blended, or even have added pancake batter to them! I was pleasantly surprised when my eggs came out just right! Additionally, my Ham Off The Bone was perfect– not dried out or salty, like I have received at other restaurants. And, finally, the Country Potatoes are«to-die-for.» The potatoes were perfectly browned, with green pepper and onions! 4 Stars based upon the food! Needless to say, I will no longer drive past Peachtree! Peachtree is now on my list of rehular breakfast options!

I recently had lunch at Peachtree Café & Pancake House; very friendly place that can accommodate large groups(20+ in our case) or not so large groups.(Our waitress was terrific!) Good-sized menu and nice prices. I had lunch(grilled cheese sandwich and fries and an iced tea), and will definitely return.

Food is delicious! Waitresses are helpful and their advice is worth listening to. Food portions are generous while you don’t feel you paid too much. Quiet during the weekday mid mornings. Easy to find.

I have mixed feelings. For the most part, they’re decent. 5 egg Omlettes.. great soups. They painted the exterior, Finally! I’m glad Elena is gone. However, there’s a blah, bland atmosphere. They need to paint & decorate the interior, as well.

Been a while since I had been here and I guess I shouldn’t have come back… not sure if management changed or what but the food was not good at all… very disappointing. The server was great… Just could deliver. I’m pretty sure there was water or milk in the eggs. Not happy at all.

Came in and I was pleasantly surprised. Service was phenomenal and the food was delicious and they had a string variety. All in all it only received 4 stars because the steak was a little bland but outside of that. It met out needs and desires.

Passing through town, party of 4 and were sat immediately. Prompt service and friendly staff. Large menu with a wide variety of options. Meals were hot, tasted great and large portions. Recommend Peach Tree Café!

Maybe I visited on a not so good day but I will not be returning. Food cold. Slow service. Dirty silverware.

A recent change of ownership has benefited this wonderful little unknown restaurant. Huge breakfasts are served. Order 2 eggs, get 4. Bacon, ham, sausage and potatoes are all good. Pancakes are outstanding. Staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are a bargain. Give it a try!

Bring ant spray this joint is crawling with them on the walls, windows and tables. That being said, they were friendly. One of the few things still up and running, even the mall is being torn down. WTF Bring a handgun and the food is cheap eggs, meat, hash browns pancake and coffee…5 bucks. Considering the ant, this place is picnic-style. Staff is friendly.

I love peachtree! I have been coming here for years, the owner is super nice and I love ordering the traditional day starter! Their country potatoes are so awesome, I probably order from here like 3 times a week and service and quality are always consistent!

Although they have been in Matteson for years I never stopped in. I tried it for the first time last week and it was delicious. I had peachtree french toast and couldn’t even finish it. They give you very good size portions for the money. Staff was very friendly and I would return.

I stopped by Peachtree Café since I was in the area for work and this café was one of the few highly rated places nearby. The décor is a bit outdated but that didn’t take away from my experience here. The food was great and service was very quick. My friend and I were seated and done eating within 30 – 35 minutes which was great. As usual, I ordered the meatiest dish possible, the Country Skillet, which had bacon, ham, sausage, swiss, and cheddar cheese and my friend chose the healthier option which was the veggie omelette. No regrets on my end for ordering such a hearty dish! Their portions are very generous for their price(about $ 9 for my skillet) and you really can’t beat that. I was only able to eat half of my skillet and took the other half home. The skillet was great with crispy hash browns and swiss and cheddar cheese slices(sorry no shredded cheese). The only thing I would improve upon would be the eggs. I ordered them scrambled and I prefer mine fluffier but when they were served on my skillet they were a bit runny and undercooked. Overall this is a great spot to grab breakfast or lunch at and I would recommend it to everyone!

Great place. Stopped in and had the Denver Omlette, country potatoes, and pancakes. Friend had the country skillet, hashbrowns and pancakes. She had 4 eggs! 4 eggs!!! anyways, Pretty good for the price of $ 8.49. Mine was $ 7.99. Still not bad. I only wished I had cheddar instead of American cheese… Service was quick, the owners were friendly, and it’s a great spot close to home to get breakfast or lunch. Come here and get your egg on!

Food was good and came out in a timely manner. For a Sunday afternoon with a party of 4, we were seated rather quickly. The French toast is amazing. As well as the steak and eggs.

Not really sure how to rate this place seeing that I spent more time in the bathroom then actually eating. I can’t say its their fault for my poor stomach condition but I can say that I wasn’t too impressed with the food I ate. The veggie omelette was rather bland and my pancakes tasted like they were cooked with lemon juice. I have any overwhelmingly strong sensitivity to the taste of lemons. As much as I like it, I’m not interested in it being in my pancake batter. The one good thing they had was a soup with black eye peas in it and ham. Can’t quite remember the name but man was it good I mean excellente! I’m sure I would give this spot another chance but maybe next time I’ll just get lunch and some soup.

The place is nothing to look at, but clean with good service and good food. I had a perfect Denver omelet, with a side of grits. Great grits. It’s not far off I-57, if you’re heading south from Chicago.
