Terrible customer service when trying to sign up. Management needs to work on their basic people skills. Not hard

I shop at this Sam’s often. One of the workers Cierra was extremely rude to the customers. The store closed at 8:30. Customers who got in line at 8:30 or a few minutes later, she wouldn’t allow the cashiers to do a check out. She told customers in line with carts«were closed». She went on to say three announcements were made stating the store was closing. You could barely hear the announcementI. I have never seen or heard customers at this Sam’s talked to with such rudeness! I’ll think before I shop at this Sam’s. again, All of the closed tabs were up. All customers should be checked out if they’re standing in line

Welllllll. This place is ok as far as the prices & stock goes, but they lack cleanliness in the bathroom and snack shop areas.

Clean, good prices, decent samples that make you want to buy stuff, and a courteous staff. My only complaint is the removal of the vegan Boca. This was a main staple for my non-meat diet but this location stopped selling it… booooo. Still, it’s a typical big box grocery warehouse store with often great deals on casual and sports clothes, pjs and outer wear. They carry a decent line of televisions, I may get my next flat screen here because the prices are very good. Hubby often stops in the clearance section which features home goods and other household items.

I love this Sams! It’s clean, organized and the staff are extremely helpful. However they need to work on speeding up the lines. The wait can be ruthless.

About two weeks, I purchased 4 tires from Sam’s Club. At that time I told them that my Hyundai dealership had told me that I needed to replace a tir pressure sensor. Sam’s told me that if I purchased the sensor, they would install it. Several days later, Sam’s called and said the tires were in. I went in, explained about the tire pressure sensor(since I was now dealing with totally new people), gave them the sensor I had purchased(costing $ 46), and left, anticipating a 90 minute wait. I received a call in a short time to come back to the tire area. the technician told me that he was unable to get one of my lug nuts off and that I would have to take my car to a full service place to have it removed or replaced if they could not get the lug nut off without breaking it. I was also told that all of my tire sensors had been checked and all were working. I immediately went to the Pep Boys down the street on Cicero, in Matteson. I was treated rather impatiently(it seemed they were upset that I had gone to Sam’s) and was told they would not be able to look at my car for two hours. I asked how much the job would cost if the lug nut needed to be replaced. I was told $ 120. When I seemed rather shocked at the price, I was told somewhere between $ 80 and $ 120. I returned In two hours and was helped by a different technician. He went out to my car and found he could not remove the lug nut and told me it would have to be replaced. I again asked the price. This time I was told $ 150(I later found out the cost of the part was $ 9). I did not have time to leave the car for the required 90 minutes, so I made arrangements to come back the next day. The next day I decided to get a second estimate. I went to Sears in Matteson, and received the best service. They replaced the lug nut for $ 55 . I then returned to Sam’s to have the fourth new tire installed. When I got to Sam’s I asked about getting my tire sensor back so that I could return it. Again, I was dealing with totally different people. They knew nothing about the sensor and didn’t even know who had put the three tires on my car. After some time someone found a used sensor in the garage. Apparently the original technician had randomly replaced one of the sensors. In their attempt to install the fourth tire, another lug nut was broken — unbelievable to me! My car is only 5 years old. I returned to Sears where I was again treated very professionally. They did not even charge me any labor to install the second lug nut. I returned to Sam’s to have the final tire finally installed. As I was driving off, I noticed that my low tire pressure light was still on. I asked the technicians about this and was told to just drive around for a while. The light did not go off. I returned to Sears and they told me that one of my sensors was not working. Apparently the Sam’s technician made a wrong guess when he randomly replaced a sensor. I went to the dealership and purchased another sensor($ 46 more) and returned to Sears. They again did the work without charging me any labor costs. They were a pleasure to deal with, and I plan on using them in the future for any service my car needs. This whole nightmare took 17 hours of my time. Even though I can have free tire rotation and balancing at Sam’s because of my tire purchase, I will never return to them for any service. I think they were incompetent and unprofessional, and I was totally surprised by this. I will also never return to Pep Boys because of their attitude and inconsistent pricing with me. I have never believed that women are sometimes taken advantage of, but I am sure that is what was happening. It is unusual for me to complain about anything, but I just couldn’t let this go. If I can prevent someone from enduring a similar experience, I will be happy.
