Hugely disappointing. I was expecting authentic Italian cuisine, but the lasagne was below average and the salmon was flavorless, as were the side vegetables. The couscous was actually pearl pasta, but no one bothered to mention that — also tasteless. Even the wine, a simple glass of Montepulciano was below average. The waitress was very nice and apologetic but receiving 10% off an over-priced meal of $ 110 for two, didn’t really help too much. I was told by the hostess that the owner was a very well-known restauranteur on the North Fork, but it looks like the chef he has in place doesn’t really care too much. Save your money, or just order the pizza.

Had the pleasure to be out East and looking for a restaurant on the return trip from the ferry at Orient Point. We made reservations for three and were impressed from the moment we arrived. Parking was easy with their own lot in the rear. On the outside surface the restaurant appears and a non-descript area style home. Inside a very pleasing and well stocked bar area and then a dinning area that accommodates about 50 diners. Staff was polite, efficient and timely. All food was appropriately sized and well presented and great tasting. I would easily return when in the area and reservations are a must.

Another great restaurant that has Chef Toms blueprints all over it. I’ve yet to go to any one of his establishments and all have a vibe of their own that isn’t of 5 star quality!

Great pizzas. Loved the mushroom truffle pie. Thursday’s pizzas are half price. Everyone we tried was deliscious

Great service from Sherry and her 14 year old helper! Bread served was excellent. Could have used a butter mixture. Great environment. Romantic. Meatball pizza was incredible! Steak ordered medium served well done. Great pricing. Dessert was outstanding. Fudge and ice cream. Said was incredible. Other than steak overlooked this met my expectations and then some.

My family of 4 came for dinner and with options to dine inside or outside we chose to sit outside. To start, we shared the Catapano Farms Goat Cheese First Press Olive Oil Spiced Apricots Grilled Bread and the fresh mozzarella special appetizer which was light and refreshing. The kids ordered the brick oven pizzas while my wife and I shared the Cod Fish Eggplant special and Penne Chicken Prosciutto Spinach Garlic Parmesan Broth entrees. Everything was delicious and plentiful. Adam the owner recommend a few deserts. We had the brownie, the cannoli, the chocolate Bag Sunday and the rainbow bread. The aMano staff was knowledgeable and courteous. The great food and ambience summed up a fantastic family experience for us. We will be back.

After a day on the water four of us were seeking a great meal. Being that it was a Sunday evening at 8:30 and many local restaurants close at 9:00 we were concerned about finding a restaurant to accommodate us. No issue at A Mano. One phone call was all it took for us to hear that they would be happy to seat us. The scallops were outrageous! Five large scallops arrived over a delicate risotto that made you want to lick the plate clean. We began with an appetizer of the daily pizza special. Four slices of melt in your mouth thin crust pizza were totally enjoyed by our crowd. The wait staff was attentive and the drinks were awesome! Highly recommend A Mano.

Wanted to love this place, but the service was terrible. We waited over 20 minutes for anyone to approach our table. The bus boy was the most attentive person at this restaurant, did I mention we never even met our waiter/waitress? The manager took our order, apologized once, and seemed annoyed when we requested our check. Will definitely not be back to this place if we’re in the area again. The food is not worth the hassle of searching for someone to take our order.

Greeted by the owner Adam, an amazing man. very professional and warm. I don’t drink, he offered me a non-alcoholic drink that looked like a real one so I can ‘fit in’ with my boyfriends closest friends for a wedding party. the place was beautiful, food placed out was incredible. their pizza. I’m blown away. for antipasti I had their simple green salad with heirloom cherry tomatoes, radishes and scallions. second corse was sautéed local flounder with spinach, capers, and tomato in a white wine butter sauce, and last I had the flower less chocolate cake. no complaints, everything was perfect. you’d be a fool not to eat here.

My fiancé and I ate here tonight after a recommendation from my brother. Both of our meals were hands down one of the best things we have ever eaten. The restaurant is small but has that perfect east end feel. The service and wait staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I had the grilled octopus salad for an appetizer. The flavors of the octopus, potato, capers and grapes blended beautifully. Each bite had a different flavor experience. I can’t wait to go back and have this salad again! For dinner I had the tortellini with fresh Montauk lobster and fresh it was! Again, the flavor combinations were perfect and each bite was better than the one before. My fiancé had the margarita pizza with soppressata. He said it was one of the best pizzas he has ever had. I snuck a bite and it was delicious. For dinner he had the rib eye cooked medium with smashed potatoes. He said this was better than steaks he has gotten at famous steakhouses. It was juicy and the flavors with the roasted garlic and smashed, grilled potatoes were perfect! We will definitely be back to this east end gem and recommending it to all of our friends.

We have been regular patrons since the very beginning of this place and I have to say that this year things are even better. The outside seating now consists of some really comfortable benches, and there is a new live herb garden out front! Inside they made some small changes that really opened up the main dining room and it looks great! The new bartender Wes is amazing and he is polite and friendly to all. My favorite waitress Helen is still there and she is just delightful. My favorite dish has got to be the orecchiette pasta with spicy veal sausage, and you have to get the chocolate box for dessert — a classic.

Sorry, this one didn’t make my list of restaurants I’d recommend. We felt rushed, my dish was lousy.(A lump of thick chicken breast that wasn’t even pounded out) no flavor– kind of got grossed out about it because it was so thick, and was hoping it was cooked all the way through. Although it must of been because it was so dry it was hard to swallow. Just a bad dish maybe? Not sure I’d go back because the service was generally bad especially for their prices. We had to order our dessert while ordering our entrees ??? Strange… Isn’t it? .the crowd was extremely loud! We could hardly have conversation at our table because we couldn’t hear each other over the roar. Don’t enjoy screaming at each other while trying to talk at dinner. I’ll pass this restaurant there are too many others to try! Not recommended

It took our food over an hour to get to our table, which I would understand if the diner was busy. Including my party there were only 5 tables with customers. When we finally did get our food, my burger came over cooked and the bun itself was disgustingly burnt on the bottom. If it didn’t take so long to get the order, I would have complained about this

I am never disappointed! You have to try the risotto del giorno(risotto of the day). Each time I have ordered it the flavor was completely different and I loved each one, but my all time favorite was the duck risotto. Plus the perfect way to end dinner is always with a chocolate bag!

I like the food at aMano and have been here several times but the last 2 experiences were literally ear splitting. It started out ok but then a large group of mostly children showed up and the s. t hit the fan. The kids were conveniently place next to various other diners so they could appreciate the full effect of their screams. aMano staff just looked bewildered. One couple moved to the back of the restaurant and we followed a few minutes later but the place is small and it was still very noisy. I wish the manager would speak to guests like that and request that they tone it down. It’s a mix of older, middle age and young couples along with families. I don’t understand why management lets this go on and ruin the night for a bulk of the diners. It’s not only noisy kids another time it was a cackling women with a hideous loud screeching laugh, you had to scream at each other to talk. The place is not soundproofed at all. If it was that may help reduce the noise level. I doubt I will return in the near future.

What a gem! We started with happy hour at the bar! Great choice of specialty cocktails, wines and beers. Next we had pizzas… one with mozzarella/tomato/pesto,… The other, broccoli rabe, prosciutto delicious! Another app that we enjoyed was the meatballs…2 large meatballs topped with ricotta and sauce. But the favorite dish that we had was the grilled octopus salad! What a combination… perfectly grilled octopus with potatoes, grapes, capers, olives, red onion and arugula! The best octopus salad we have ever eaten!!! I don’t know how, but we did have room for dessert! The cannoli were delicious and they were made with marscapone and covered with pistachio chips! The piece de resistance was the chocolate ‘bag’ filled with bananas and vanilla ice cream! What a treat to find this restaurant!

It’s not good. We were there as the Love Lane Kitchen, our obvious first choice was full. Only 8 other customers in the restaurant. The menu is incomprehensible! So many lengthy descriptions. And the food when it comes is overcooked, dry. Not good. We had the Calimari, a burger and a Caeser salad. We will never go back! Staff friendly and helpful.
