Good food and a wonderful atmosphere. The family that owns it and the lovely chef make this a place to one back to. Feels like home with great food. The family is wonderful.

Everything here is delicious, it starts with the bread, best bread I’ve had. I sat at the bar order a stuffed artichoke, a water and a pasta dish. Usually when you order water at the bar the bartender doesn’t pay much attention to you. But not here she was very nice and attentive I love how they change their specials every week and has a prie fix menu so you can try a few different things at a good price. love eating here whenever I’m out in that area, one of my favorite resturants by far

Yesterday my boyfriend and I had lunch here. Our experience from start to finish was awesome. Our server, Carrie, was attentive, efficient and friendly. The bread was served with a trio of condiments. The raw oysters were sweet. The specials were delicious: I had the flounder franchise over pasta with asparagus which was the best I’ve ever had. My boyfriend had the homemade lasagne served with meatballs which had a heavenly chunky tomato sauce. We finished with espresso coffee which came with an amaretto cookie and a side of strawberries and whipped cream. WOW!

Just had a perfect lunch here! The food was lovely, great local wine by the glass, and truly friendly and welcoming staff. Wonderful and creative dishes, working with what is local and in season.

Where to begin. We ate here before they moved to their current location and were very disappointed which is usually never our reaction to restaurants on the North Fork. Fast forward to this past Saturday night, with no other options(couldn’t get in anywhere else last minute) we decided to give Touch of Venice another try figuring maybe things had changed. We knew we were in trouble when our waitress proclaimed«The location has changed but the ingredients remain the same». Never a truer statement has been made. Everything was bland with a capital B. From the boring bread to the tasteless mozzarella. The lettuce in the salad? I wouldn’t feed it to my rabbit. My 11 year old son always gets pasta with red sauce wherever we go. Here, they prepared it with steamed tomatoes, still left in the bowl. Bland and of course quite unappealing to an 11 year old boy. I had the chicken dish(Briana?) which was so tasteless that I was stealing some of my husbands sauce from his meal to put on it. It came with a side of pasta that was completely plain, bare naked and once again-tasteless. Ditto for the veggies. Another reviewer said that the place was creepy and somehow, that IS a good description of the restaurant, as well as our rather bizarre waitress. And last but not least, the INSANE prices. And by insane I don’t mean insanely cheap. To pay those kind of prices for that quality food? Never again. As the saying goes, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me!

We were always very upbeat about our visits to this restaurant… our recent visit was disappointing. The swordfish was rubbery and lacked taste… the rigatoni, my husband concurred, was also flat. The appetizer of the stuffed artichoke was also drab with chunks of garlic that tasted uncooked. For dessert, we shared the berry crisp which lacked crisp, and tasted like a bowl of warm jelly with gelato on top. We felt badly, but several of our friends had told us that they felt it is an inconsistent experience. Maybe they were having an off night…

Truly excellent meal! This local haunt offers dining al fresco and outdoor live music. My friend and I shared the salad with mozzarella, the stuffed artichoke(to die for). I got the summer pasta which was outrageous. The noodles must have been homemade. The vegetables were farm fresh and perfectly cooked over a delicious sauce. The wine was perfection. I definitely will be back and highly recommend this neighborhood gem.

I must say my boyfriend and I were blown away. We went last night after some wine tasting.(Not a lot of restaurants open on Tuesday and most close by 9pm in the North Fork). We pass by this restaurant and the lights caught our attention. We came in and we were greeted, they sat us right away outside, the woman that sat was very nice. We ordered the Tomato Bruschetta, Mozzarella Di Bufoli & for dinner we shared the Linguine. The Tomato Bruschetta was absolutely delicious. It is a bit hard to eat with getting a little messy but every bit is worth it. Mozzarella was also very good, I was just hoping for more roasted peppers. & finally for our entrée, the server had the kitchen split the pasta for us which was a great surprise . Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back

Best Italian food on Long Island. Friendly, professional staff, including a knowledgeable sommelier and a very good selection of wines. From the burrata appetizer to the after dinner grappa, everything was excellent and beautifully presented. This was a great find for two travelers lost out East. Our next visit will be intended.

Best fresh food I have had on the north fork in 11 years. Nice atmosphere and good service. The food was full of flavor. Even my picky 11 year old said wow.

Just got home from eating here. It’s is WAY over priced and not much variety. They only had fish and pork sausage. We paid almost $ 75 for our meal, didn’t get any alcohol. My boyfriend got a salad which was $ 12 for some spinach and a half a tomato. I’m not too into fish so I asked to get one of the pasta dishes with out meat or fish, they had no problem with it but still charged me $ 21 for plain pasta! No problem with the service but I wouldn’t recommend eating here mainly for their prices, not even close to worth it.

The lady who owns the B&B my mom and I stayed at recommended this one for us. Very nice place. Having vacationed in Venice with my mom before, we looked forward to seeing how it measured up to authentic Venetian fare. The outdoor area had a relaxed vibe with live musicians playing. The inside area had a more sophisticated atmosphere. For an appetizer we had the strawberries with prosciutto and it was AMAZING! If this is ever on the menu when you visit, I highly recommend ordering it — it’s fresh and flavorful. For an entre, my mom had the swordfish and I had the veal parmesan. Both were very good. I wanted to eat more but I couldn’t get through it all. The serving sizes are generous and the prices are moderate. Our waiter, Joe, was delightful as was all the staff we encountered. As a perk of staying at our particular B&B we were also treated to a glass limoncello to finish off our meal. I’m not quite sure it is as good as the stuff we had in Venice itself, but it is indeed a nice touch of it. Very nice place to try if you are in the area and have a hankering for Italian food.

I am incredibly disappointed here. Not only do they not have wifi they were incredibly rude when I asked. The waitress gave us an attitude because we have a 2 year old with us. He’s incredibly well behaved but even if he wasn’t there was no reason for an attitude. She also couldn’t respond nicely when I asked if there were small portions for children. Incredibly upset with this place. Ugh

Full disclosure: I practically grew up in this restaurant. My sister worked there, then my other sister worked there, then my brother worked there(for like a week anyway) and finally I worked there — on and off for many years. From a young age I grew to love the honest, no frills, family Italian food that Ettore and his son Brian have been making for over two decades. The Chicken Briano(a family original), the Veal Rollatini, the Shrimp Parmigiana(omg, the Shrimp Parmigiana), I could go on. This is a true family owned restaurant in the best way and they have been perfecting the model for a long time. I’ve been away for many years, have visited countless family owned and Italian restaurants, but to this day, Touch of Venice remains my favorite. Leave your foodie ego at the door and just enjoy the wonderful people and food at this North Fork institution.

A funeral party was being held in the next room, so they put us in a quiet section. But then a loud bachelorette group sat right near us 10min. later. Why couldn’t they seat them in the next room, where it was empty? — it’s a big enough restaurant. I ordered a drink from the bar, a while later(when I already drank half of it), the waitress realized she? or the bartender made me the wrong drink. Quickly replaced it with the correct one. They give you lukewarm crusty bread with good pesto spread and cheese before the appetizers. Veal meatballs were a little mushy. The main courses have too much fu fu — leaves, decorations. I had the polenta dusted seafood. One sad scallop, one asparagus, one tiny piece of fish filet. Plate loaded with sweet potato fries. The desserts were decorated beautifully, they ran out of cheesecake though. Warm berry dessert and very good some kind of Italian chocolate cake. The espresso custard dessert was bland. The busboy’s shirt and pants were dirty. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Bathroom has only 2 booths. and no soap. I liked the restaurant a lot better when it was in the old location off Sound Ave.

After a long gorgeous day out on the North Fork — my boyfriend suggested a double date at a Touch of Venice. The service was good — our server was very apologetic if something was incorrect and quickly offered to rectify and errors. Passed that — the rest of the dinner was an absolute fail. We had a mozzarella special appetizer which was decent — but priced at $ 30?! Little extreme for cheese and bread. As well as the stuffed artichoke. The 4 entrées were: — Chicken Briano –decent — Grilled Swordfish alla Abruzzo — was told it tasted frozen and was NOT a good cut — Grilled Tuna Capri — I asked for it BARELY seared — if of course came with almost fully cooked with the SLIGHTEST rare portion in the middle. If I wanted COOKED tuna, I would have eaten a can at home. And the menu said purple potatoes — my dinner came with white fingerlings rather than what was told) — Bistecca Tuscanny — Supposed to be a NY Strip. It was cooked fine — but CHEWY; to where my boyfriend couldn’t even eat it. It was so bad that the waitress did take if of the bill. $ 200 later — a meal that NONE of us were satisfied with. We will NOT be back. Would not recommend it.
