I love coming to this MAC location in all of the DMV area. all the staff has been super nice and helpful everytime I come in. Somedays are its busy in there so try to go during the week. if you are looking for an item in the promoted collection try and call before going because items do sell out quickly at this location.

I don’t usually wear make up but my eyebrows need guidance from time to time the staff was very friendly and even though me and my friend were indecisive the lady was very helpful and patient ! bought a couple products and she even showed me how to use them ! =-)

I always find MAC cosmetics to be either a hit or a miss. Associates/artists here are busy so you have to wait for their help which is understandable; however they should let the waiting customers know that they will be with them in a few instead of just pretending like they aren’t there.

I really like the look of this store. It seems newer to me than Fair Oaks. I came in here on a Thursday night and they weren’t busy at all. Granted it was right before the mall closed around 8:40ish. I talked to the girl that was there about make-up. I had my concerns because I feel like I’ve seen here in there before and her attitude was just not something I wanted to deal with. Her makeup(on her own face) was nicely applied, however I think it was a bit much for my taste. I was looking for something conservative yet different then the neutral colors I already have. She immediately pulled four colors(in the hopes to get me to buy a quad) and told me about them. I asked if I could quickly try them on and her response was«You want to try them on»… Why of course I would like to try this extremely bright orange you are recommending for me on. Okay whatever. She went through the motions trying to sell me a bunch of other stuff along the way(mainly brushes because I quote«I’m a brush junkie»), and the finish product was just not good. When I told her I didn’t really like the orange, she said well did you want to try another brown, which I told her I would probably have to come back tomorrow because I was running out of time(and her her application was absolutely hideous), her attitude immediately changed. She got snippy and rude and short. Okay its not my fault I didn’t like the colors you picked and wanted someone else to give it a shot. She should really not be working in a customer service capacity. I do really like this MAC store, but your experience really depends on the time of day you go and the person you talk to. This girl was the wicked witch of Tysons and never again will she ever apply make up on me again. To make matters worse I’m pretty sure she was some sort of manager or assistant manager. Not a good look.

This is one of the best MAC stores I’ve ever been too. I don’t mind driving down to Tysons to go here, either. The service is top knotch and everyone in there knows how to put on makeup. Really love this store(heck, I really love the whole mall)!

I like it. A lot. It’s a terrible, extremely fun addiction. Not to mention expensive. Most of the gals here are nice; I find that the Asian girls are nicer to me(hey, I’m all about people that give me good customer service and they happen to). They are usually willing to help you, especially when it isn’t busy. I avoid going there at peak times, which is usually on the weekends. They give good tips and have good products(for me, at least), which is a win-win situation: they help me, I look good and spend money. Anyway, I always come to this MAC, because the one in Fairfax never seems to be fully stocked(they’re always missing something I need when I go there). The MAC near the Pentagon has poor customer service. They’re busy and don’t even acknowledge other customers who walk in. At Tyson’s Galleria they at least say hello and let you know they’ll be right with you. It’s always the small things that matter the most!
