It’s a very small shop. I wish they would have more places to sit down to eat inside the shop. Varieties of treats such as cupcakes, macarons, brownies, etc. and the price of each is decent. It’s good to see that they have a happy hour on Mondays-Wednesdays. It’s a first come first serve basis with their treats, so I would recommend going around 2−3pm.

Friendly staff, large selection, and quality products! A little hard to find but definitely worth it when you do.

I came in based on my little cousin’s recommendation ’cause she loves their macaroons. I’d never had macaroons before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but they were darn expensive. 8 for $ 14. I really don’t know if I don’t like macaroons, or I just don’t like these, but I’m definitely lamenting having invested $ 14 on them. I decided to get a($ 2.25) walnut brownie also to gauge this place a bit better and it was so bad, I didn’t even eat it all(and that’s really saying something). I’ve eaten 50¢ brownies that were way better. Again, because of my inexperience with macaroons, this review is mostly based on how over-priced this place is and the abysmal brownie. I mean, that’s something that no baker should mess up.

The cupcakes are innovative and although their frosting may be generous, all you’ve got to do is swipe a bit off. Their strawberry frosting recipe is amazing and I’m never disappointed with their creativity! The cakes are done well — not dried out and richly tasteful. Toppings are always fun with a ferrero rocher piece or neat decorations. I read the negative reviews on macaroons which are warranted, but she has improved her recipe. The owner used to be a nurse and came into the small business of baking to make people happy — she’s learned a lot on her own and the macaroons are getting better. I’ve tried making them myself and it’s a intricate and delicate process to perfect the texture. Plus, not many places in the valley are brave enough to put them on their menu! 5 stars for introducing the valley culture to such delicious treats. Love this place to indulge my sweet tooth! I also ordered a sweet potato pie for thanksgiving — my families dinners will never be the same again.

They have the most amazing brownies. Absolutely love the layered brownies!!! They are my favorite item in the menu. My doggies love their doggy treats as well. I love how cute the shop is and the staff is always super friendly.

The cupcakes themselves are **mounted** with frosting! If you’re into that, they’ve got that. They’ve got interesting flavors, I just wish they had healthier alternatives. Their lemonades are great, but EXTREMELY sweet, I had to water them down. But they’re Ok. Their staff is nice. They’re pretty good with special orders.

i was in awe to see they made macaroons, one of my many favorite french desserts. but sadly they do not know how to make them. They are supoose to have a light and chewy type texture, but these just broke apart as you bite into them. This dessert needs prep and experience to make and sadly ppl of the valley are gonna be mis lead on great tasting piece of art.

I came here a while back and it was good. I used a Unilocal coupon so I got a pretty good deal and tried a few cupcakes. I liked them much better than another cupcake place I went to on 10th and Pecan BUT I couldn’t really eat too many of them. Okay… I shouldn’t be eating too many in the first place… but. I don’t know if it was the frosting but I had to stop eating them as much as I was in the mood to pig out on cupcakes. I actually threw some away. So you’re probably asking yourself why I’m giving them 4 stars instead of 2 or 3 and the reason is because they ARE good… I just couldn’t eat too many(maybe they should change up their frosting recipe a bit). They are very friendly too and that also deserves some credit and they really put a lot of thought into what goes into their cupcakes. I did have a macaroon and there was a time I tried making them at home… I failed miserably and yet, I still liked mine better. The filling was weird like they didn’t cook it properly. People that have tried to bake macaroons know that even though the recipe seems easy, it’s actually pretty difficult to get them perfect so if you can’t figure out how to do that, just don’t sell them. All in all… go, it’s cute in there and give it a shot and see for yourself. Try the cupcake with peanut butter. :)

The frosting is super, super sweet. The place is great and the staff is awesome, but the various cupcake frosting was way to sweet.

Awesome! I got the cupcakes I want and the staff are very helpful. Only thing is it’s hidden behind another building.

It’s a really cute shop, but I was HIGHLY disappointed with the product quality… I went in for the first time to try the macaroons because they are hard to come by down here and I can see why now… Doesn’t seem like anyone knows how to prepare them… Macaroons should have a THIN lightly crunchy outer layer, with a SMOOTH inner cookie later and a light filling, however this is NOWHERE near what I received… The macaroons have a THICKANDREALLYHARD outer layer and the filling seemed RAW/UNCOOKED and was lumpy, and it wasn’t just one, I bought six shared 4 of them only to see they were all the same, I don’t even want to eat the other two… What a complete waste of $ 12! I would much rather wait to travel back to London or France to get my macaroon fix… It would be so much better worth it.

If Unilocal would allow half stars, I’d give CC’s a 3.5 rating. CC’s is pretty hidden in the same plaza that houses Moonbeans. The cupcakes are pretty and tasty. One in particular, the salted caramel cupcake, was way too sweet for me. But the others in the batch I bought were good. Most cupcakes have hefty icing in addition to filling. The peanut butter chocolate cupcake is my favorite so far. Peanut butter filling, yes please! Overall, these cupcakes are just okay tasting and I don’t think the taste is up to par for the 3 dollars+ they cost. They also sell macaroons, which I don’t see to often in the Valley. I personally don’t like macaroons but these are fresh and well-made. And über cute! My boyfriend really liked them. The smell in the bakery is heavenly. The service is friendly. They also use the Belly rewards system(which Moonbeans also uses). And is expected from all gourmet cupcakes, these goodies aren’t cheap.

The staff at CC’s were really nice. The cupcakes were good, not great. I wish the red velvet and strawberry cupcakes had cream cheese frosting instead of the really, really sweet buttercream. All in all, I will be back to this place when I want cupcakes and am too lazy to make them.

A friend of mine told me that these were the best cupcakes in the Rio Grande Valley. It was a big promise, but this place absolutely delivered. I came in and picked up the following flavors: salted caramel, red velvet, the«food bank,»(which is a blend of chocolate, vanilla and red velvet), vanilla, and strawberry shortcake. I tried parts of all of them(except for the salted caramel… I ate the whole thing right there). I think the food bank cupcake was my favorite of the lot. Not only was it outstandingly moist, I felt like a better person for eating it because CC’s makes a donation to the RGV food bank when you buy one. All of the cupcakes were just the right balance between moist and firm(not underbaked at all!). The frosting is nice and light and sweet and there’s not too much of it. They’re a decent size – big enough to split, but not so big you feel disgusting if you eat a whole one yourself. They also make filled cupcakes, so those can get a little mushy; get a fork if you order one. As for pricing, it’s really reasonable. They run $ 2 a cupcake and $ 21 for a dozen. If you order a ½ dozen, you get 2 free cookies. If you don’t like cupcakes, they’ve got cake-pops, cookies and some morning baked goods as well. Before you jump in your car, know that their storefront is a bit tricky to find. It’s on the southwest corner of 10th and Dove, tucked behind a building that you can’t see from either street. If you’ve ever been to Moonbeans, its in the same plaza, but on the northern side of the plaza(still south of Dove though). Don’t give up looking for it if you have a little trouble. Let’s keep this place in business, people.
