Golden Corral

This was the worst restaurant I have ever been to in my entire life. The restaurant is really dirty. There’s alot of Clorox smell everywhere. The plates have food caked on it. Right before I entered the restaurant, I could smell how dirty the door and the small entrance area smelled like old and scum smell. My friend and I paid $ 19 for 2 buffets with no drink. The food is horrible. Seems like everything has been cooked way too fast and seems like the cooks didn’t care about anything, no thought, no care, no love into the food! NOTHING! I ate the pot roast, it was ok. After I ate some of the fondue chocolate fountain— got more depressed, it tasted like old Nesquik. Then I tried the tator tots — they were hollow and were greased burnt!!!

Today the place was a 5 star place food was great place was clean and the managment was on it cleaning tables making sure the buffet was stocked with fresh food. Will be coming back for sure to this location.

Definitely a much better experience at this GC. Oh my goodness tried some new stuff here. Great food today. Slightly dirty restaurant but that’s mostly due to too many people

All I can say is never again! I found a hair baked into my egg casserole, which I was going to let slide, but then when I got a spoon for my oatmeal there was slimy food still on it, good thing I went to wipe it down before eating. #nope

The food is horrible, the staff is way too busy, the place is extremely dirty wherever you look despite the efforts of the staff. It’s usually full of people too. The cups they give you and the utensils and plates seem to be cleaned in a rush and don’t look very clean at all and are usually still dripping water. I don’t like buffets in general but this Golden Corral is just sad and gross. Don’t eat here.

Well… the food was not very hot at first even though it was busy. The staff are very nice. The place needs a cleanup. It is grubby. Doors opening to the kitchen show it is messy and mucky floors. The grills are not very clean.

Place is DIRTY– food & service SUCKS!!! Not worth the $ 29.50 for 2 adults to eat here. The only decent tasting food here is the pizza, popcorn shrimp, macaroni & cheese & cobbler– dont eat out of the chocolate fountain!!! Kids were running their hands and fingers through it and licking it off– GROSSSSSSS!!! Don’t eat here unless your tetanus vaccine is up to date– seriously.

The place was packed and it was hard to get around to the food. Like most buffets, the food was made quickly so some of them didn’t seem all too fresh or great tasting. The okra was over cooked, as were some of the other foods. The floors and tables were not clean cause of so many people the staff wasn’t able to catch up. Although, I must say the busboy we had was hard working and excellent.

This is the first location of this establishment that I tried and must say that I raved about it for years and finally last year it barely made it here to the L.A. area. I couldn’t believe how delicious this buffet was. I ate like no tomorrow plus the staff was very courteous. Even though I won’t be eating at this particular location anytime soon its still delicious and would recommend it for anyone that likes eating alot. :-)

I soo wish they had a Golden Corral near memphis. This place is clean, not too busy, and great for children. The food was good and they were always making sure the trays were full of food. The have a salad bar, chinese, mexican, italian, and american food. My favorite food was the macaroni, it was delicious and creamy, never had this good of macaroni in a buffet before. For dessert, there is a caramel, chocolate, and white chocolate fountain. The kids had so much fun with the fountains, also the cotton candy machine. There was also different desserts, the donut making machine was out of order. All my family was super full after eating here. I will definitely be eating at any Golden Corral when I go out of town.

We were there on a Friday evening in March, probably the 15^th. It was terrible. Plates, forks, knives and spoons dirty. I picked up a plate and was walking the buffet when I felt some roughness on my clean plate. Looked down to find food remnants harden on my plate. I had to sort plates to find a clean one. Food on floor in kitchen. Workers needed more help. Manager needs reprimand! We will never go back.

Sometimes food is good and sometimes it’s not. Sometimes service is good and sometimes it’s not.
They added prime rib for their weekend buffet starting in March but raised the price too. I will be back to try it.

And I agree with others that it needs some extra cleaning, but the people that eat here are very messy.
I like baked chicken and anything I can put nacho cheese on. Chocolate strawberries are good.

We went there because a relative loves buffets. For the most part, the quality of the food is acceptable but what is not acceptable are finding only dirty forks in the self-​service holders and the general state of near chaos that pervades the place. It is extremely busy, particularly on weekend evenings, and the staff is clearly overwhelmed by all that needs to be done. Plus, there are always customers who don’t have very good manners and leave all kinds of messes. I feel sorry for the people working there. I wonder if they have nightmares about the place?

1^st visit deserved 5 stars but the 2^nd visit did not. I am from Dallas and was staying at the nearby Travel Lodge so had decided to go for breakfast one morning. We were greeted by the manager and had a nice chat with him about how this location is the busiest in the COUNTRY. Not sure if that was an over-​exaggeration but having gone to several locations the size of this was larger in comparison. The Breakfast was great and to our luck we got there at the tail end of breakfast time so we got to eat lunch also! Food was great. Service was excellent and everyone was nice and helpful during this visit.
Next visit was not so great. While in town again visiting family we had such a great experience last time we decided to go again during lunch/​dinner time. I walked in carrying my 1 year old and when i asked for a high chair instead of answering my question the employee i asked informed me that there wasn’t a server in the area that my family and I had sat. Not sure why as the whole place seemed busy but no worries I just need a high chair. So i asked AGAIN, was directed back to the front and We decided to stay in that area because having small messy children being close to a restroom in such a large restaurant is important. Thank you to the bus boy who refilled our drinks. Eventually we were given a server because they were so busy i suppose the bus boy couldn’t keep up. But this was when we were already leaving. Salad bar was ok. Do not get prepared green salads as the dressing has made them mushy. mashed potatoes bland. rest of the everything was average at best but what more can you expect from a buffet style restaurant. Much more prefer their Breakfast food.
