Jason’s Deli

Well, I have been to couple Jason’s deli back when I used to live in baton rough, Louisiana. and my visit is usually pleasant ! Who is Jason anyway? But this location is I guess ok! They were busy and there were couple of tables that needed busing you know removing plates and stuff. We had to wait few minutes for a staff member to clean the tables. The salad bar looked nice and fresh. My bastrami sandwich was pretty decent although a little bit. The restaurant could use some cleaning as my friend pointed to dusty spots. Anyway the visit was ok

It’s a great place for lunch. I had tuna sandwich which was huge and tasty. Another time, had the manager’s special panini. The service was great too. They serve free frozen yogurt.
Will definitely go again.

This is the most unappetizing vegetarian tomato basil soup EVER. A little liquid with a bowl full of chopped canned tomatoes and not sure where the basil is. Also filthy in here, never to return

Good service, clean, nice atmosphere and delicious. The tomato soup is delicious, the pastrami sandwich is really good and comes with a lot of meat. They have a wonderful salad bar and the potato with brisket and cheese is delicious and has a sweet bbq sauce that is very tasty but it is HUGE! They also have free soft served ice cream cones

I ordered the manger’s special of half the chicken panini sandwich with a side salad. The chicken panini was good; however, it was difficult to eat because the chicken strips kept falling out. The strips were a decent size but every time I bit into the panini, a strip would fall out. I think that if they used a piece of chicken instead of strips, it would’ve been much easier to eat.
The salad bar was clean and fresh. I always enjoy the salad bar with the toppings. They have a cold pasta now in the salad bar that’s pesto based and that was good.
Of course, I ended my meal with frozen yogurt.

Nothing to write home about, same ol’ stuff that you get with any Jason’s Deli. Unfortunately it seems like they have difficulty keeping up with bussing tables during peak lunch times; had to wait on a table today, although about ten tables were empty of people (just filled with dirty plates).
Tried the spicy tortilla soup today and it was definitely spicy! And I say this as someone who loves a little spice in her life. ;-)
Parking is always a PITA.

Very friendly service. Fire roasted tortilla soup is super yummy. I usually get the manager’s special with a half deli club and soup. Their strawberry shortcake is really good too!

Really disappointing service. The food itself was good but the service was awful. My coworkers and I placed an online order at 10:45. We got an eBay starting it would be delivered at 11:30−12. After 1pm we finally received our lunch. It was pretty irritating that we had to wait so long. The driver didn’t even care he just said oh sorry when we asked why they were so late. This isn’t the first time they have been late delivering so unfortunately we will no longer be ordering from here.

I’m no stranger to Jason’s Deli, but this was my first time at the McKinney location. The food is pretty much the same as any location I’ve been to, which is great. but I’d say the service here is much better. The gal at the front who took my order was super bubbly and friendly and was super patient with my newbie friend, even though there was a huge lunchtime line behind her. When I went over to the side to pick up my salad bar plate, there was a gentleman over there who was holding a plate with a chicken salad sandwich on it. I told him that the chicken salad looked really yummy and that I was going to try it next time I come in. I went to make my salad and sat down, then he came over to my table and give me a pretty big dish of chicken salad to try, he said it would go great on my salad. Man he was right, great lunch! So nice of him to do that. I would give this place a solid 5 stars but I have to take away a star for the bus lady. She brought her cart over and began cleaning the table across from us, and parked her cart right in front of us for several minutes even though there was a huge empty space on the other side. I didn’t really enjoy having the trash parked right in front of me while trying to enjoy my delicious salad. Otherwise it was a good experience!

The food amount meaning meat wise, quality, appearance & taste at Jason’s Deli are WAY better than subway (sandwich place in comparison) ever thought about being. If you want «A LOT» of bread & very little meat then subway is where you want to go. The atmosphere, cleanliness and choice of the food at the salad bar at Jason’s Deli are Fantastic! So glad I am enjoying Jason’s Deli & it’s worth the money too!

Two vegans having lunch and pretty satisfied for the price. All you can eat salad bar and vegetable soup. Spinach wrap sans asiago with chips. Salad bar was kinda sloppy but lady came to fix the problem. Love Jason’s Deli.

I was overwhelmed with the excellent customer service I received from the manager Lance Starkey. He went over and above to accommodate my needs. There are few places these days that value the customers happiness like Lance and his crew. Jason’s Deli should be proud to employee such fine and honorable person such as Lance. This location will deservedly receive my continued support for a long time!

Always happy with the salad bar & sandwiches, you cant go wrong unless you pick something you don’t like. The salad bar has so many possibilities that if your not careful you will start healthy & end up going hog wild on all the choices. I prefer the sandwich & salad bar. My only gripe is that you cant eat ½ your salad before your sandwich is in front of you, oh well, still love it

Salad bar is fantastic! Plenty to choose from including carrots, mushrooms, broccoli, cheeses, seeds, nuts, pasta salad, potato salads, lots of dressings, croutons, crackers of all varieties, etc.
The husband had a ¼ Muffaletta and fell instantly in love. Apparently the full sized Muffalettas are ridiculously huge.
The daughter had kids salad bar… she’s our veggie eater.
The teen son ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and was super impressed. That says a lot since he’s the picky one in the family!
Unlimited ice cream FREE with meal.
The tea is always fresh tasting and perfectly brewed. Nothing worse than weak tea!
The gal that was delivering food even offered to fetch my drink and also refilled the kids’ drinks. Awesome service from the cashier to the cleaning staff.
We will be back to this location for sure!

My aunt & I have been coming to this deli for years. Whether dining in or ordering to go, it has always been pleasing. The food is tasty and on the healthy side, prices are fairly reasonable, and excellent customer service. Highly recommended.

I love the taco salad with the chicken chili. The greens are always crisp and fresh. It hits the spot every time.
They have a great salad bar and housemade soups. Great kids menu, healthy fare, and free ice cream for everyone.

We tried a different location for our sandwich and salad.
This one is a good as the others.
I did try a new sandwich. the zucchini grill or something like that. Loved it! Super awesome.

AMAZING customer service!!! Even though it is basically self serve, with the exception of bringing some items to your table, the staff here is top notch. If you ask, they are there to help!
But the main reason I come here for the salad bar. It is the only salad bar that I have come across, probably for miles. Baby spinach, pasta salad, whole boiled eggs, yummy little muffins. Need I say more? In an area where chains are king, is nice to have a healthy chain choice.
No, I am not a big fan of the sandwiches, but I come here for the salad bar, the yummy chili, beef stew, soups, and the free soft serve with any purchase.

It’s a chain so if you’ve had one, you’ve had them all.

Jason’s Deli has some great options for healthy eating and I really like the staff here. They are laid back and willing to offer suggestions if you’re not sure what you’re looking for. It’s an easy and quick way to eat healthy (especially because they provide all the nutrition info), and you can do it within a budget!
Good, fresh food and they deliver if you spend over $ 20!
