Great service and great burgers. Had the mushroom cheese burger and it was cooked perfectly. Excellent flavor, good portions, and the servers are really attentive!

One of the best burgers around this area I frequent this spot quite often the bacon egg and cheese burger is perfect the egg was cooked to perfection I actually had a chance to chat with the manager about how they cook their oh so delicious french fries and found out that these guys really know their stuff its not a cut out box burger joint they serve fresh beef fresh hand cut fries and more I’m a big guy and appreciate a nicely done burger and they definitely have that going for them the only reason I didn’t give them a full five stars is I would really like to see some upgrades to the décor the seats are worn and the floor needs some help but what it lacks visually is definitely made up for in the food.

My wife and I just had the pleasure of trying Jungle Burger today. My wife said her veggie burger was simple but great and very satisfying. I had the big kahuna burger– It was Awesome! The quality of the burger was above par and all the fixins that come on this were fresh and prepared just right. We will definitely be back and High Recommend!

Judging from the outside, I would have never stepped foot in this place. But I kept hearing that their burgers were great. I finally decided to try it with a group of friends, and I was pleasantly surprised with the food. They had a very wide variety of burgers, and the food was very flavorful. They were also understanding when the group I was with got picky about their order. I’ve been twice so far and would go again. Definitely come here if your looking for a better tasting burger.

I keep coming back to Jungle Burger for a reason. I only have to drive a couple of miles for the best burgers around. The staff is great as well!

This place has the best burgers in McKinney. I’m not even exaggerating. The shakes are pretty good as well and the service is top notch. I don’t have anything negative to day about them at all.

Went in last night. Waitress told us appetizers were 50 percent off. Two out of the four burgers at the table were burnt and had to be redone so ended up coming out at the end of the meal. About this time the waitress tells us appetizers are not 50 percent off. Placed an order to go and it took 15 minutes for the waitress to turn the order in. There was only one other family in the restaurant. Went to discuss this with the manager and he was extremely rude. Told us that they were suffering and couldn’t honor the 50 percent off appetizers. Seems like a scam to have people order more.

I hate to have to leave such a poor review, since we’ve been to this restaurant several times and have never had a bad thing to say. But that changed tonight. Our waitress told our table of 7 that appetizers were half off, so we ordered 3 of them. They were delicious by the way. Onion rings are top notch. When the food arrived, only 4 of the 7 meals were delivered. We were told 2 of the burgers were over cooked and had to be redone, and the last one was«on the way». My husband’s burger(1 of the 2 that had to be redone) was ordered medium, but served closer to medium-rare, there was red juices flowing from the burger. It was way undercooked. When our bill came, the appetizers were charged full price. When my friend questioned the manager he said«Yeah, that was a mistake. She told you the wrong night.» He didn’t offer any discount or apology. He had no problem immediately running the credit card before she could object. And then mumbled something to her about barely being able to keep the doors open as it was, so he couldn’t offer any discounts. The food is really good. And until this situation we’ve never encountered any issues. The waitstaff has always been top notch. Yes, the staff can and will make mistakes, but it’s the way management handles the situation that will create an atmosphere that makes a customer want to return. He has for sure lost our business. We won’t be back.

Excellent burgers and fries, only down fall is they changed from counter ordering to full service. Now it takes longer and you need to tip.

Been wanting to try this place for a long time now. Service was good and waitress was knowledgeable. The burgers and fries were excellent. Only complaints were onion rings looked like they were the frozen kind and i wish they had a sturdier bun to support the big kahuna. Price point was a little high but comparable to a Jc’s ir five guys. Would go here over those other places.

Well, here is a heads up PRIOR to walking into any restaurant: if the sign on the door is HELPWANTED, expect some difficulty. My wife and i continue in on a sunny Thursday afternoon, approximately 11:45. We came in and a server asked us to seat ourselves. We grabbed a booth. Cushions had rips and needed repairs. There were about 7 or 8 other tables occupied in the restaurant. We were greeted almost immediately by Cody and(believe it or not) his female trainee also named Cody. Ok, double service, this is gonna be double good! WRONG. Trainee Cody took our drink order. She asked if we want to order. I said it’s our first time here, so Server Cody said he’d give us a few minutes. Table after table came in. Two servers on the floor were overwhelmed. Trainee Cody was lost. We sat and sat. I eventually signalled to Trainee Cody we were ready. This was 15 minutes after our initial greeting. She came by and asked if we were helped? What??? I said you brought us iced tea 15 minutes ago! Ok, she started taking our order, my wife ordered the junior Avacado burger. I ordered the ½ pound cheeseburger. She had to have us point to the menu as she did not know it. Other tables were served and done that came in after us. Finally our food came out, 30+ minutes after we came in. Not a good experience. The burgers were okay, but we were so pissed, that we just wanted to eat and get out. The manager appeared clueless, as he ran a few plates to tables, but otherwise barked orders at the 2 servers that food was up. Poor management, poor service. Food decent but not memorable. The manager should have been on the floor taking orders and running all the food. I spotted 6, maybe 7 kitchen staff. He couldn’t have spared one to help on the dining room? Last, but not least, we get the check. We were charged for a ½ pound avacado burger when my wife wanted the junior size. I proceeded to the cashier and after she asked how it was, i told her about the wife’s mistake burger. She asks the cook if he made the ½ or ¼ and he tells her the ½. She tells me «you got the ½ that’ll be 26.95.» I said we didn’t order that. She asked who our server was and we pointed out the trainee. Cashier response: –oh, she’s new, she doesn’t know everything.” Are you kidding me. She senses my frustration and says, «I’ll give you a DOLLAROFF.» Maybe Cody the server was good, but overwhelmed. The trainee Cody needs to learn the menu and basics of serving. The manager is useless. I know this stuff, I manage a 3 million dollar restaurant here in McKinney.

In my opinion, The Big Kahuna can rival any«Dallas designer» burger. I ordered the Chipotle Cheeseburger(sauce on the side), but fell in love with the hubby’s Big Kahuna(do with that what you will). The most delicious bites of beef, cheese, bacon, mushrooms, peppers, and onions I’ve had in a minute. Reg Fries are hand-cut and very tasty!!! However, I will try the sweet potato fries with marshmallow sauce next visit. Nice, quaint family spot with a plethora of options.

Places like this are the reason I love living in Mckinney. This place embodies the local spirit o the area. The service staff is super friendly and the food is pretty darn tasty. The menu here is well developed and the newly added hotdogs are delicious. I would eat here everyday if I could!

I’m on a bit of a hamburger binge lately thanks to a weight management program I’m on(yes, I’m serious). I’d never been to Jungle Burger; in fact, I didn’t know it existed until I found it on Unilocal near the car dealership where I was getting service. It’s located in a fairly nondescript strip mall, and the décor inside isn’t dramatic, but it’s well lit and clean. My server, Krista, was very friendly and attentive as she took my order, a bacon egg cheeseburger, adding jalapenos and chili, and a small curly fries. When the meal arrived, I saw that the fries were properly golden brown and had a modest amount of seasoning. The burger looked just the way I like: Messy. :) Biting into the fries, they were excellent. Nicely cooked, seasoned just right, and no off flavors or other strangeness. But, of course, the burger is the star of the show. If there was even the slightest knock, the bun is fairly pedestrian, but the flip side of that is that it’s not fighting for attention with the other ingredients, so maybe that’s a plus. The patty was a ½ lb beauty, cooked to a perfect medium(as requested) and it came with Swiss and American cheeses, sliced jalapenos and gooey, yummy chili, topped with a wonderful sunny side up egg and bacon. Cutting into it with a knife, the yolk was found to be pleasantly runny. I topped it off with a little Louisiana hot sauce for extra flavor. How did it taste? Delicious. Cheesy, meaty, eggy, spicy — it was all there. The meat was tender and juicy, indicating care was taken to not overwork the meat during processing as is so often the case. The bacon was crisp and smoky, and I’m pretty sure that the chili would have been good in a bowl by itself. This was truly a very good burger. It hit all of the right flavor notes, and the textures and seasoning were spot on as well. It was even good at room temperature later, as I ate the second half for dinner. Definitely give this place a try if you’re in the neighborhood.

Tried the big Kahuna, Bacon cheeseburger, chipotle cheeseburger, jumbo tots. Solid flavor for the price point; great value. Lots of menu options — e.g. chicken philly, fried mushrooms, etc. The service was super friendly. To-go order for me, but the dining room is spacious and at 8pm on a Wed there were only 2 tables taken. I’m going back.
