Service King Collision Repair of McKinney

Took my daughter in law’s car here to get an estimate for repairs due to an accident that was not her fault. Your staff was awesome! The young lady at the front desk, Sabreen, was so sweet and friendly. Jeremy is the young man who came out to do the estimate and was very friendly and personable. They offered suggestions to us on how to deal with the insurance company of the guy who caused the accident. Sabreen (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly) even went out of her way to help me with the coffee machine. Thanks for having such a friendly staff!

After the collision, our insurance uses Service King as a direct repair shop. We dropped it off and Jeremy became our contact guy. After the initial estimate, he constantly kept in contact with us through email and text messages. We always knew where the car was at during the repair process. It was set to be done next Tuesday, but Jeremy called me this morning and said it was getting washed, and would be ready this afternoon. We just went and picked it up and it looks great! They even detailed the interior! And it was 8 days earlier than expected! Take your business to these guys! Plus, Service King also has a hiring program where they will employ and train veterans, so they are helping those who defend our country as well. 5+ stars!

Unfortunately, while they are very nice at this Service King location, they are incredibly disorganized. Went in to get an estimate on my car and couple of days later I was informed that they had lost my estimate, so I had to go back again. The next week when I went in to leave it to be serviced, they had trouble finding all of the paperwork. Not only is it a hassle to get over there with construction on 75, it was an endeavor to get everything taken care of. Absolutely do not recommend.

This place is a joke. Unfortunately, what I actually would like to say wouldn’t be appropriate to post on here. If I could give them an infinite amount of negative stars, I most definitely would. You’re lucky if you get to leave with all the parts back on your car, and will have to make at least one trip back to have them fix something that they messed up– which they will only continue to mess up further. They’re great at telling you whatever you wanna hear though, I will give them that. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, at all. Ever.

Apparently, new business and customer service are of little importance to Service King in McKinney.
I walked in early on a Monday afternoon at a time that was not busy. I was the only person in the lobby, and there were few other people on site.
When I told the receptionist that I needed a repair estimate, she told me the Farmers representative would «be right with me.»
That didn’t happen.
I waited a few minutes longer, and was told again that he would be right with me. Fine.
So I waited longer. And longer.
Again, «he’ll be right with you.»
I finally got up and left, because even though they would have been the most convenient choice for me, the insurance adjuster gave me four other recommended service providers in the area who would probably be happier to see me walk through their doors.
I just don’t get it. Money falls in your lap, and you choose to ignore it?
You didn’t have to do anything, because I was already there waiting to throw money at you.
Will not be back under any circumstance.
Thanks for wasting my time.

Despite being a great repair shop, I got my car back filthy and dirt all over the inside of my car.
Honestly this is not acceptable and each car or truck should be washed and cleaned upon completion.
I will not be giving a 10 for a follow up call.

Was rescheduled twice, and then the service advisor was 25min late for the 7am appt. Glad he had time to hit the drive through as he made me late for my next appointment.

I was very impressed by this location because the customer service was incredibly spot on. They let you drop off and pick up on Saturdays (they’re open until 1) and that was very convenient, they also have a partnership with the Enterprise up the road so you can drop off your rental car there when your car is ready.
I had some pretty nasty front-​end damage to my car after an accident and I didn’t know how long it would take to get it done, but they completely fixed my car in a week. They did say that this was fast because they didn’t have a lot of cars in, but throughout the week my service person called me and left me voicemail updates or talked to me to update me on my car whenever it was changing stages.
They were so nice and did a VERY good job on my car, it looks fantastic and I’m very satisfied. I know it’s a location I will trust if we’re ever in this situation again.
My guy was Gary, btw, and he was awesome!

Thieves. Couldn’t prove it, anyhow. Need I say more?
Other than that, I had to go back here a second time because the headlight where my car was smashed at wasn’t replaced properly. I realized that after a cop pulled me over for it and I am so lucky for just receiving a warning instead of a painful ticket. Rule of thumb: Check EVERY minuscule detail of your car before you leave the shop. I’m done trusting car mechanics.

Funny story. Someone backed into my husband’s truck when I drove it to work and parked in the parking garage one day. The damage to the bumper and right rear panel was not all that bad but needed to be fixed. We took it up to Service King and they fixed it up. When the husband went to retrieve the car just before the center closed, an overly enthusiastic employee who was moving another car backed into the truck as it was being brought around, crunching up the rear panel on the other side. No questions asked, the Center apologized and repaired the new damage quickly and without hassle. While the Center’s accident would really irritate some, it was an accident and those can and do happen to anyone and everyone. What was nice was how the Center immediately responded apologetically and took care of us. We are fans and will go back for any body work we need in the future.
