Taco Bell

Out of Mt dew, Gorditas/​chalupa shells, and hot sauce. How does that happen? Poor management. I read the reviews, I wasn’t expecting stellar service, silly me for expecting them to have most of their menu in stock.

At 2:38 pm I was told my coffee would be ready in a minute. After 5 minutes I caught a second counter person and asked about my coffee. He enquired if I wanted cream and sugar. He never returned. After 5 more minutes I started calling to the staff making food to help me get my coffee. I started asking for a refund since there was no coffee. Finally a counter person returned, coffee not ready, explanation was «trying to get the coffee to load.» I got my refund at 2:49 pm.

I’m not sure who runs this one but they will dramatically short you on the portions. I had the beef n potato burrito for example which is usually quite large. Their burrito was more the size of a dollar menu item, it still had the massive tortilla but almost nothing inside. The rest of our order was like that too.
Just go to another taco bell, there are others nearby… or better yet go to Mexico restaurant down the street and get a decent mexican meal for the same, if not less, money than this garbage…
(*yes I know it’s fast food and I am comparing it to other taco bells and other fast food places to warrant the one star…)

I don’t write reviews, but after this stop, and what I saw, I couldn’t not write one.
It’s Sunday, August 2^nd, 2015, around 12:45 PM. It was a little busy, more than what I’ve experienced there, that’s OK. Ordered food, went to use the restroom while I waited, then I started noticing things. No toilet paper, random trash, nasty surfaces, decided not to use the restroom. Came back out and started to notice everything else. Unclean tables, trash everywhere, all the windows and other surfaces with their finger prints and smears and nasty. Trash piling up near the drink station. We finally got our food, sat down, and this is what I saw that disgusted me more than anything, the reason for my review. An employee working the food line went to the restroom, spatula in hand, came out of the restroom, with no time to wash their hands, spatula still in hand, and then went back to work. Even if they did «wash» their hands where did they put the spatula? I don’t know about you, but that’s a huge no no.
Not only are the customers partly to blame for the nasty, for not cleaning up after themselves, but the employee’s, mainly the manager, for not doing what they are paid to do. I’m sure Taco Bell headquarters would not approve. If you don’t like your job, find a new one. If you’re too lazy to do all of that, then do what you’re paid to do. You’re there already, you might as well do your job.
This is food service and cleanliness is all too important.

Waited over 20 minutes to get a burned breakfast thing. It was unable edible. Then took 10 more minutes to get refund

I love Taco Bell but this the WORST one I have ever been in. The person taking our order was so rude. I asked for a lid for my drink (because they had not been restocked) and she threw it down on the dirty counter. We tried to find a table wasn’t DISGUSTING and had no luck so we had to take it to go. I threw my food out because I was afraid to eat it. Don’t even get me started on the bathroom… This place was so gross I was tempted to call the health department. Keep driving people!

2:00 Sunday afternoon. Inadequately staffed. 12 people waiting in front of us for orders and as many in the drive through line. Tables are dirty. I’m scared to go in the bathroom. This was a mistake. Too bad because this was a convenient place to stop on our journey.

I read the other reviews for this Taco Bell. What a bunch of dildos some people are. They were talking about the décor and outside appearance. Well, let me set you straight. It looks like a friggin’ Taco Bell.
Another reviewer was pissing and moaning about dirty tables and how they had to move seats twice. Maybe try looking at the table before you sit you friggin’ goon. Now this location has negative Unilocal points cause your a mouth breathing jackoff?
I also learned that nothing happens in Mechanicsville, VA. So clearly these people are repressed and full of self loathing.
So anyway, this was the first time I had Taco Bell’s breakfast inside me. You could say I lost my Taco Bell breakfast virginity. It was nice. It was on my own terms and not a last minute drunken decision like most cherry poppings. Well, the breakfast taco was pretty good. I got the thing with the waffle and eggs and sausage all folded up to look like a taco. It tasted like a fast food breakfast. Not much to say about it. The A.M. Crunchwrap Supreme was mind blowingly epic though. It’s a folded over tortilla pocket filled with a big ol hash brown, eggs and a nice meaty piece of sausage. But I know what your thinking, what’s the big deal. I’ll tell you the big deal. The put that tasty ass spicy cheese sauce stuff that they put on their quesadillas on this. Whoooooooo weeeeeeee!!! I had a burning asshole that afternoon but it was totally worth it. The coffee was eh. It was hot and in a cup so that was good.
All in all my adventure to the greater Mechanicsvilleburg Taco Bell was a success. Don’t listen to the other reviews. Those people just hate everything and like to complain. Oh yeah, they were pissing and moaning about the staff too. The girl behind the counter was a delight

Cash Register is efficient. Line Cooks not so much. Still has the old Taco Bell décor.

I still haven’t adequately figured out how to rate a fast food chain. Did it look like every other Taco Bell that I’ve been inside? Not exactly, but it was definitely close. Was I drunk? No, this was an unexpected sober trip. and it was during the day, so I was able to see everything on the inside. Being off of Mechanicsville Turnpike I didn’t really have a lot of high expectations, but I at least figured that the staff would be friendly. The girl at the register seemed genuinely annoyed with everyone that came to the counter, and was slow enough to have a rather long line created. The food was about as Taco Bell makes, so it’s really hard to improve the rating based on how tasty my tacos were.
Much like the Best Buy behind it, this Taco Bell is blessed by being the only Taco Bell in the area. It’s nice to be the only choice in town for cheap tacos.

The staff on this establishments are rude, and display a disgruntle attitude, having no respect for the customer (which is paying for their salary’s)their attitude is their way or the highway and if you make a complain they want to fight you .They don’t mark their special orders, they expect you to open each package to see what is what. as per the cashier — each package (order)to see what is what, Oh yuk touching someones Else’s, food great really classy and hygienic) .
makes me think what the heck do they do when one is not looking’s.What ever happened to customer service. I will never put foot in that establishments again, and have began to spread the word to friends and neighbored about the way people are treated there.

I don’t understand why Taco Bell has fallen so out of favor with the American public, especially compared to other fast food. I’m aware that Taco Bell enlisted the help of celebrity chef Lorena García to develop a more gourmet menu, and maybe that has spilled over to their traditional menu items as well. In any case, the crunchwrap supreme and beef and chicken chalupas we had were pretty good.
The pita on my chalupas were nicely fried with a very thin layer of crunchy on the outside, giving way to soft bread on the inside. There was a generous amount of fresh lettuce and tomatoes, the sour cream on my chicken wasn’t excessive, and the beef was well seasoned. I probably shouldn’t have had two, as I was feeling a little fast-​fooded-​out by the second half of my second chalupa, but as far as fast food goes, this seemed like a legitimate option.
I don’t know about other Taco Bells, but this one wasn’t particularly clean – we switched seats and I had to wipe down the tabletop and chairs of both tables to remove the littering of crumbs. But service was fast (as it should be), the food was presented nicely, and I felt that I actually got way more veggies and less grease than I would with a burger.
Perhaps it’s time for the American public to re-​assess this old-​time favorite?

This place is beyond sketch! The food is disgusting and is a dipleasure to even look at.
