Just ate here passing through. Just amazing. Taking orders outside, we got asked twice if wee wanted a refill our plates were removed, wow, just wow

this may be blasphemy around here but I don’t get the appeal of this place…
they have an OK chicken sandwich, let’s be honest… it’s NOT that great … it’s not as seasoned as say KFC original… it’s not as flavorful as popeyes and it certainly isn’t cheap… it’s dry and just blech…
waffle fries? oh sure they have them, they don’t cook them completely though so you end up with bland, mushy potato things that just … well… they just suck and how hard is it to make decent fries anyway?
I know a lot of folks love this place but the food just is not up to the 4.5 star rating… it’s overpriced, small portioned and bland… oh and they have an astoundingly limited menu on top of that…
BTW we did try multiple times at multiple stores before posting a negative review…
Frankly the McD’s crispy chicken is way better and I’m not a fan of McD’s…

My husband and I first tried Chick-​fil-​A a long time ago while we were students in Indiana University. We really love it back then. Unfortunately there were no Chick-​fil-​A in New Jersey that are close enough to us. When we saw the restaurant while driving down to Disney World, we knew we had to have our kids try it. The restaurant is much more fancy now, but the food is as good as it was. My kids love it! And the service is excellent. Will try to go to the one in NJ in the future.

Unfortunately, our worst experience at a Chick-​fil-​A. And we are huge fans and eat there often. First of all, we learned – sadly – that they no longer serve cole slaw at many of their restaurants. We were informed by our associate that it is considered unhealthy. How about the fried food, or the barbecue sauce we thought. Are those considered healthy? This really is a huge disappointment. We ALWAYS get chicken and cole slaw there (a very good, cheap, quick, well-​balanced meal), and I’m not being overdramatic here – we probably won’t return except on occasion if we can’t get cole slaw with our meals there. Please hear us Chick-​fil-​A! We instead got a small salad… the new «Superfood» salad with kale. It was TINY, and was absolutely not a good value. We were shocked, really, and considered returning it. Won’t get that again. We went to sit down at the booth just to the left of the front door. The table and seats were dirty and my seat, anyway, was lumpy as if the springs were broken. We moved. And we had to really look around for a clean table. One was hard to find. I’ll bet the restaurant was understaffed as usually it’s easy to find a clean table. We finally found a tiny table in the back (no one would use it), and parked ourselves there. Fortunately the food was still warm and tasty. But boy this was not a good experience at all. And it made our meal a lot less enjoyable.

You know what to expect from Chik Fil A. With that being said I have never been in a busier store. Dinner time had lines snaked around the parking lot and people lined up standing out the front doors. The store was clean. The staff smiling and helpful. And the food was terrific quality.
This is why they are always busy.

Their Oreo milkshake hand-​spun is one of the best I’ve ever had! My wife ended up drinking more than half of mine. I never really considered this place as a fast-​food because they sell real food. Never had a bad experience. And as always, great and courteous service. Gotta love this place!

This chick-​fil-​a can get pretty busy, but even when they are slammed the service is always excellent (although maybe a tab slower than average fast food wait times). No other fast food restaurant brings you your food, comes to your table to refill your drinks, brings you napkins, you name it!

First of all, this is a BUSY Chik-​Fil-​A! They are almost always busy. The food is always good and the people are very polite! Last time I went there and went through the drivethru, they asked me to pull around to the front to wait for my food to be brought out to my car. Well, I waited for 15 minutes and then started to go in and the girl saw me and remembered. They had forgotten about me. That is the reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that 1 time, they have been great.

Nothing spectacular but the food is tasty and seems freshly made which is pretty good these days. The play area is generally clean for the kids and I see the employees wipe it down regularly. It gets extremely busy around lunch and dinner.

LOVE our Chic-​fil-​A! We eat drive-​thru about once a week due to schedules. This particular one attracts highway traffic, so it can be really busy, esp. on the weekends; however, they do a GREAT JOB of getting everyone through quickly. It’s hard to believe it when you pull up to an overflowing parking lot, that you can get through it quickly and I am sure many just drive on by, but I am telling you the truth — they work quickly. Not only that, but if the lines are that long in the drive-​thru, they send out a couple of people to handle the orders for those in the back of the line. Great service — Always!

Friendly staff who was apologetic about the pickle on my no-​pickle sandwich but the play area smelled funny and the parking lot was a disaster. So many people in the drive though, that the people who wanted to park couldn’t even get in the parking lot.

The absolute BEST Customer Service under the sun! And their Chicken Sandwich is second to none! My daughter and I love Chick-​fil-​A each and every time we visit, especially the Mechanicsville location!

Ahhhh good olé’ Chick-​Fil-​A. There is A LOT I could say about «Chick-​fil-​A Corporate» and the political controversy they stirred up back in 2012. But this is Unilocal and not some political blog. I want to talk about the service and the food and leave the debate about questionable donations to other folks.
The service at the Mechanicsville location has always been SPOT ON. They really are amazing with how well they provide service. If Chick-​fil-​A upper management ever did a secret audit of this place I’m confident they’d get a near perfect rating and rightly so. I’ve never had my order wrong; I’m always tickled when they say «my pleasure» and despite my political stance I still eat those delicious sandwiches. In the words of Doc Holiday «my hypocrisy knows no bounds.»
I was pretty excited when I saw this location being built in sleepy Mechanicsville. I only wish I knew about the promotion for get free Chic-​fil-​A for a year. I would have been cool to be one of the first 100 in line. Oh well, maybe next time. What’s left to say about a popular chain restaurant? They do indeed make the best darn chicken sandwich on the planet. They’re waffle cut fries are divine, and despite crazy long lines they move people through it quickly.

Chick-​Fil-​A is A-​OK. My family and I love it and go there often. No complaints.

WOW! great customer service! the cashier was very pleasant, friendly, got my order fast, their salad was pretty good too! There was a young lady going around asking customers if they wanted a refill of their drinks or needed anything! That’s pretty good! going the xtra mile in exellent customer service! Besides great service she was also very attractive and had beautiful blonde hair and blue eyes!

I made a stop here on a Saturday night before I got on the interstate towards home. Place was moderately busy, but the counter employee was still polite, pleasant, and prompt. My CFA sandwich & fries was qucikly ready, and delicious as always.

I don’t like Chick-​Fil-​A food but I love the support they give to the community. Store is clean and staff and owners are friendly.

As always, food was great. In addition, the service at this location was the best I’ve seen! We had our kids, and the staff got a baby seat, wiped it down and repeatedly stopped by our table with wipes and napkins just as we were about to need those items. It was as if they were reading our minds. Very impressed!

Love chickfila but have to say the service at this one was great, and it was nice and clean. The cashier was very pleasant and made sure i had everythng i needed with a smile… Cant beat good service! I had ghe #1chicken filet sandwich, waffle fries and sweet tea… Piping hot as always… Cooked to perfection!

I’ve been a few times. The food is great and they are fast. They do a good job keeping it clean. I would highly recommend this place.
