I went for a massage with Karen and a facial with Christie (owner) for the first time yesterday. Beautiful facility, extremely clean and well-​appointed. GREAT massage, so relaxing. Karen is very skilled and was responsive to my requests in terms of focus areas and level of pressure. Great facial, too, Christie advised me on what she thought would be most appropriate for my skin type and the results are visible. I am new to the area, and was looking for a beautiful facility with friendly, approachable, and skilled staff, and that is exactly what I found. I will be returning, needless to say. A Peruvian restaurant and a Japanese restaurant are in the same block of stores, so if you really want a decadent day, you can do a fun lunch before or after your treatment. The prices are comparable to other day spas in the area.

The staff at Nicholas Christies are probably the nicest people ever! Seriously, they are not stuck up at all and are very warm. They are extremely accommodating, too. I went a few weeks ago for a wax, and although there is nothing listed being between a bikini and a brazilian wax, the woman was happy to do exactly as I asked.
I was slightly disappointed with the speed (or lack thereof) of the wax job, though… Waxing is a painful experience and you want it to be over as soon as possible. It took at least 30 minutes, and I left with a lot of wax still on me.
All in all, I didn’t have a bad experience, but I think I might try another place next time. I paid $ 40 for something in between a bikini and a brazilian.
