Friendly but slow service. Greasy, greasy cheesesteak & onion straws gave us «green belly». Afaird we won’ return or recommend.

NOT A FULL LIQUOR BAR… I like beer but I can’t drink it due to the high number of carbohydrates and gluten so when I went to Steagles last night I ordered vodka with club soda and lemon. My first clue that something was very wrong was the drink came in a huge 16 ounce glass. I told the server that it looked like a lot of club soda but she insisted, «I filled it up to here (¾ full) with vodka» before she disappeared. I tasted the drink and it was awful. It had a weird taste, was watery and the club soda was flat. Then I noticed a sign indicating drink specials for vodka, rum and tequila, 16 oz for $ 6. The price sounded ridiculous and one of my friends told me the waitress told her it was «watered down vodka» or some kind of wine with only 40% alcohol. That didn’t sound right either.
Fortunately I didn’t drink much of the mystery drink. I called Steagles this morning and asked the person who answered the phone if they had a full liquor license and she said they did not. I told her I was confused because some people say they serve drinks and some say only wine and beer. She said they serve drinks but they are «only 40% alcohol» so they were able to offer them even though they don’t have a full liquor license. I asked her what the substance was and someone in the background gave her the answer: malt liquor. So essentially they served me some kind of Zima like beverage further diluted with flat club soda. No wonder it tasted so bad. Not only would that not be 40% alcohol (more like 4%-8% alcohol), the drink was also loaded with both carbohydrates and gluten! This practice isn’t just misleading, it’s dangerous to uniformed patrons who could have celiac disease or other allergies. Checking the Steagles website they claim to offer «wells», «shots» and «drink specials» and nowhere on the website or the sign in the bar do they mention these are all malt liquor. Ugh!
Service was practically non-​existent as the only two servers were also tending bar. People sitting at tables had to fight their way through crowds around the bar to get their own beverages and occasionally servers would come around the room with food that had been ordered but no one knew which customer ordered it. I had a hard time making my way to the bar and getting the server’s attention so I could pay for my «drink». The band was very good and people were having a lot of fun dancing and I would’ve given Steagles at least 3 – 4 stars in spite of the poor service but passing malt liquor off as regular alcohol is inexcusable.

Only been here one time but the perogies were memorable! I wouldn’t take my kid here because it’s really a bar, not a restaurant.

Dont know where people get the idea that this is the best cheestesteak. on top of the 40 minute wait for it.(the bar was practically empty) you can tell the meat came from a pre packaged frozen section of walmart and was just thrown into an oven to thaw. my warm beer with it did not leave me with a great experience.

Overall not that great!!! Hot uncomfortable bar. Warm beer. Have had way Better philly food at many other places. Sorry! They might have the authentic bread there but wow so little meat and sandwich is 10 $!!!

Best cheesesteaks around! I usually get fried onions, peppers, wiz, and provolone. If that’s not your thing, they have a few other cheesesteak options too-​like the Mexican CS. My husband had it and really enjoyed it. It was stuffed with the usual plus olives and jalapeños. They have more than just cheesesteaks too, especially if you have picky kiddos.
The service is always friendly, anticipate a wait though. Usually the person serving drinks is the person waiting tables AND helping cook the food. It’s worth the wait. If you eat in, it’s a bar/​hole-​in-​the-​wall atmosphere. Typically I order ahead and take it along to the beach — I recommend this.
Delicious food. This wasn’t my first time and certainly won’t be my last!

Don’t know what happened but the last time I went the steak was terrible.

This was the worst place I have ever been. I took my wife there for dinner and I am so glad that there was a Taco Bell on the way home. The place was dark and not at all what I expected. The food left ALOT to be desired I ordered the cheesesteak and it was by far the worst I have ever had. My wife ordered the Pittsburgher and it was not very pittsburgherery. I will never go back and wont recommended it to anyone else

Absolutely fantastic food and entertainment. Prices are awesome too! Best jazz and Philly cheesesteak in America. Voted best cheesesteak in Brevard by Florida Today. SC Groove is outstanding. My new favorite place.

My wife and I stopped here for a late dinner on last Saturday night. I had the cheese steak and my wife had the Italian hoagie. We both enjoyed the food. Not sure why one person said the food was pricey. Their prices are normal bar prices (like $ 7 for a good sized cheese steak).
This is a bar, so expect bar ambiance — lack of lighting, close tables and noise. They have entertainment the night we went — local band that was ok. I wish they had more Pennsylvania beers and maybe they do, just not on tap (I didn’t ask but would have liked an Iron City or a Stegmaier). We plan on going back to try other Pennsylvania foods — like Pierogies and Pittsburgh style sandwiches.

If you order take out be sure to ask to cutlery, napkins and condiments. Just had an order delivered to ICB and the food was delivered without these items. Really difficult to eat pork wing without napkins. Food was really good though. FYI weird onion rigs but tasty.

French fries like grandma used to make — double cooked — so they are very crispy

Awesome philly cheese steaks. Kind of pricey but for the quality you get I think it’s worth it. The only complaint I have is service can be kind of slow. I love the pizza steak wit! (For those of you that don’t know philly talk that’s a cheesesteak with pizza sauce and cheez whiz, don’t knock it!) :) The wings are also great here.

I at the entire 12″ of this cheese steak! The owners are originally from Philly! They know what they are doing. I originally ordered a Cuban which my friend had a couple weeks ago from here, but the delivery truck did not bring the pork! The bread and meets are shipped here from Philadelphia — YUM!
