This will be my first Unilocal review and I couldn’t be more excited to write this! I have been wanting to try this restaurant for months and finally was in the area today visiting the Grove City Outlets. For starters, let’s talk about the atmosphere and décor. This place is very spacious, with high ceilings and a very large waiting area which is key because this place is always packed with people. The rustic wooden tables were also larger than life which means more room for food! I really thought the plexiglass floor in the center of the restaurant showing where the beer is brewed was a neat idea. I thought the service was pretty good for how busy they were. Our waitress gave us a quick run down of the menu, which I appreciated since this was my first time dining there. She was also very attentive to our table. At one point I think she was taking care of another table so another waitress brought us our food and I was happy about that. Our food wasn’t left in the kitchen to get cold like some other restaurants I have been to. Now it’s time to review the food. My mom and I ordered spinach and artichoke dip to start. This was by no means your average spinach and artichoke dip! I was expecting it to be like most, served with tortilla chips and to my surprise I was wrong. The dip came served with what tasted like homemade flatbread triangles. This was by far one of the best spinach and artichoke dips I have ever had. For my meal, I ordered the steakhouse burger and the homemade mac and cheese. Our waitress made this decision for me fairly easy when she said the burgers were crafted from locally raised Angus cattle. The burger was a nice size, very juicy and flavorful. The mac and cheese was also very delicious and I also thought they gave a nice size portion for it being a side dish. Overall, I would definitely come back to dine here again. You get a good amount of food for a reasonable price. Keep in mind this is a touristy location and you will probably have to wait, but it is worth it!

Went here for lunch yesterday, and the food just wasn’t great. My sweet fries were over cooked and mostly burnt… Not to mention overpriced for the small sandwich I got. I wanted to get a side of ranch to try to mask the burnt taste of the fries but couldn’t find our server anywhere! The menu was definitely overpriced for the small portions. Overall I was pretty disappointed.

Average at best. Our waitress was attentive and did a good job. The meals were good but inconsistent across the group. For the market they are targeting, they lack basics such as offering complimentary water & bread. The restaurant has a lot of potential but is not quite up to their potential.

Stopped in last night for dinner and a few beers. It is very nice on the outside and the inside has potential but it’s… I guess the best term is nondescript. And unfortunately the décor matches the food and service perfectly. We had a selection of beers. Had the pretzels and beer cheese to start followed by chicken Philly sandwich and burger crab cake. I can tell u nothing was terrible and that is as high as my praise will on this review. The service was curt and slightly unfriendly. The food was bland and average. The beer was okay but nothing special. In fact the only thing above average were the prices. This is a good idea with terrible execution. I would rather go to Applebee’s than go here again. And I hate Applebee’s but it better food better prices and better service. Nothing original here and not worth your time.

The food is average to bad. The owner is dirty and unkept looking. The beer is okay. They do much better with seasonal brews. It is too expensive for the quality of food. Social media about this place is not good. The owner throughout two service dog trainers and the dog being trained and didn’t care that it was a violation of PA law. Don’t waste your money here go across the street to Elephant And Castle… for better beer and food.

Awesome food, great service but what’s up with the music? Sounds like a teenager installed… they need to up their game for the prices. Definitely cheeped out on the audio… — — — - 02÷25÷16 I had heard the owner kicked a service dog out of this restaurant. Not only not cool but against the law. This complaint is all over Facebook. Now I move my 3 stars to 1. I won’t be visiting anymore and I’ll be sure to spread the word. Who do they think they are?

I had the filet, it was excellent(considering the location)… Generally the service was good. The real reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was. Believe it or not … The beer. They had a saison that was clearly sugared too late, it tasted like a mani-wine. It had a cool atmosphere, kind of like a wider open Texas Roadhouse.

This is an American fare, rustic themed restaurant, located between the Candlewood Suites & The Hampton Inn. For this town, this is a great restaurant. It just opened a few months ago & stays packed. The food is nothing exceptional– just a nice mix of burgers, fish, ribs, salads, wings & pastas. I’ve been with coworkers & they’ve said the beers are really good. I’m not a beer drinker so my review is just based on food. They are a brewery, so I guess that’s where all the effort goes. Not bad food, but not REALLY good.

I waited until I came here a few times before writing a review. Living in the area I knew I’d be back more than once and wanted to give more of the food a chance before rating it. This place is VERY hit or miss on the food, but I’m reviewing based on the best of everything understanding that you just have to know what the«misses» are and avoid them. I’m a fan of: Lobster nachos — not a ton of lobster, a ton of onions, really good beer cheese. We didn’t even need the sour cream or cheddar that was melted on top. I will say the beer cheese reminds me more of a lobster bisque than anything, which is why I think I loved it. Veggie Panini — this isn’t really a panini pressed on a crusty bread, it’s made with naan, but the veg mixed with that super soft bread and the sauce made it really great. Lamb Gyro — again, they use naan, its great. Pizza — really good crust the time I was there(I’ve heard it can come burnt so good luck). Halibut Bites — nice light breading and large portion. I’m not a fan of: Wings — they were really chewy the time we had them and the garlic ones had a TON of garlic laying in the bottom of the bowl, yet somehow the wings lacked that flavor. Ahi Tuna — the tuna was normal for a restaurant in this area and by that mean it was very average — it was overcooked to a VERY light pink with very little flavor; this one was a big let down for me(I had crossed my fingers it would be like Bonefish’s ahi!). Coleslaw — the first time I got this I loved it, after that, it was horrible. Filet bites — way overcooked on both the meat and garlic bread and underwhelming sauce. Steak — the largest steak on the menu was ok, but not at all worth the price you pay — you can get a way better steak down the road at Broad Street for like $ 16. Service, beer, and cocktails have all been hit or miss too. My cider drink was great, but a couple of their mixed drinks have been really good on one occasion and not so much on the next. They also offer a root beer and coconut rum drink on their cocktail menu for like $ 5 or so. They also make a homemade cream soda, so we asked for that with regular rum. The first time, we only got charged a normal non-cocktail menu price($ 3.75) for that drink. The next time, they brought us a glass of cream soda with a shot of rum on the side and charged $ 2 for the cream soda and $ 3.75 for the rum saying«that’s just how we have to serve that.» Not sure of where the disconnect is on that? I still have a couple things left to try there, but overall will stick to the items I know are safe.

I had high hopes for this place but was severely disappointed. Outside is very nice but the inside is a bit plain. The kitchen is open to the seating which leads to a lot of noise. My husband and I both ordered steak dinners, not the best steak, their dinners come with one side. So that means if you get a potato you have no side salad or soup. Also there is no type of bread given with your meals. The price is similar to other restaurants in the area at which you get 2 sides, bread and a better steak. Won’t be returning.

I had so much hope, but it’s just another mediocre place to eat in the area. We were initially stopped by a young male host, who actually had the audacity to hold his hand up to my chest and say«stop» and told us to wait in line just to sit at a bar with open seats. He was incredibly rude, so I ignored him and we sat ourselves at the bar. Joke was on me, however. Did not enjoy sitting at the bar and looking straight into the kitchen or to the left to see a giant server station. We couldn’t hear the game on TV because of the slamming of pots/pans, trays and the employees yelling at each other, throwing food and dishes. It’s nice to see an open line — it’s not nice to have a full view of the entire kitchen and the kid making pizzas licking his fingers. The service was incredibly slow, the bartender took forever on everything, even though there was really no one at the bar or in the restaurant. She had no knowledge of the crafted beer(we had to order by number) and seemed content to keep talking to her co-worker. My husband’s cheeseburger was overcooked, but still pretty good. The French fries were probably the most pathetic things I’ve ever seen called french fries. The husband and son didn’t eat them, which was a first. Who screws up french fries? The pulled pork potato skins were a disaster. What a waste of money. My son, who eats jalapeños from the jar, wouldn’t even eat them after a single bite. Not only was the potato skin itself actually inedible, it was mostly jalapeños, cheese and grease w/o much pork. I ate nothing. As someone who prefers not to drown her arteries in man-made grease, the menu wasn’t appetizing to me in anyway. I just couldn’t justify dropping the amount of money they wanted on an ahi tuna app when they can’t even make bar food taste good in a bar. Nope. After that, we just stopped anymore thoughts of food and just finished our beer. The selection is very small and as people that really enjoy craft beer, we were seriously disappointed with the limit of 5 options, but 3 of them were pretty good. We did enjoy seeing the crafting area through the floor. It’s not original by any means, but still cool to see. What we enjoyed the most were all the people that didn’t realize you could walk on the floor. Doubt we’ll go back.

Beer has very little flavor and over-carbonated. They served frozen giant-eagle style veggies(very disappointing!). Mussels were good.

The atmosphere of the building was nice and our bartender was excellent. Food wasn’t too bad. The beer was subpar. The big downfall, however, was the fact the owner(I assume) of the restaurant kept hovering over the bartender and over the group I was with. He stood very close to us several times. We felt very uncomfortable. Then, to top things off, he butted into our conversation about where some of the décor was from and argued that we were wrong about where it came from. For the rest of our time there we felt extremely awkward and he continued to stand by us and even made himself a drink and drank it by us. He never once asked us how our food was or thanked us for our patronage. He definitely ruined our experience there and as the owner he should probably know and treat people better.

Went here about a month ago. The outside of the place is very nice. I was a little mixed about the inside. Its very open and airy, but it kind of feels and looks like the inside of a barn. Kind of blah inside. It almost seems unfinished to me. The bar area faces into the open kitchen. I don’t like sitting at the bar looking into the kitchen, hearing all of the banging, shouting and clanking of plates and such. There is no music at all… and because its so open everything has an echo including all off the plates and pans banging around. The glass floor looking down into the brewing area is pretty cool. The food and service just weren’t as good as I was hoping. We had pulled pork potato skins. Those seemed very greasy and over cooked. the potato and skin was like leather. I had a burger with a crab cake on it. It was good, but nothing to write home about. I upgraded to mac & cheese for my side. I wouldn’t pay for that again. it was just o.k. as well. My wife had a burger with some onion rings on it and something else that i can’t recall. Her burger was just ok as well. Her’s was a little over cooked and dry for medium. It was more like well done. She had FF for her side and those were just FF. Our service was real S L O W… The server was nice, but just not very on top of things. i had their seasonal stout, which was good and my wife had one of their mixed drinks and she said that was good too. I think we were just both hoping for something a little better. There wasn’t anything about he pace that really made me want to go back or tell anyone they should try it.

Just stopped in to check the place out. I’m impressed! Ambience A+, brew selection A++, food A+, clean, friendly, and a great atmosphere. The open kitchen and pizza oven are pretty cool. Highly recommend this place.

Second visit still had an amazing burger and my girl had a perfect Reuben. Downfall was apps we got sausage mushrooms to highly priced for the quantity and quality they weren’t even large mushrooms. The onion rings were to battered and airy. The smoked Gouda was nothing special and not worth the price. Our server was also better the first we visited and it wasn’t even busy on this occasion. When will restaurants learn when we pay high prices you have to ensure the quality and quantity are good

We went this past weekend, first open weekend for the restaurant. It was super busy, but our waitress was great and we didn’t have to wait long for the food. Everyone at my table enjoyed their meal — highly recommend the BBQ chips. The restaurant is one of the nicer places to eat in the Grove City area. The coolest part is the glass floor in the center of the floor where you can see the brewing set-up.

I visited this establishment tonight in high hopes of finding a new local brewery to visit. I ended up having an appalling experience. I was eating at a booth with my girlfriend when I witnessed a man come over to a nearby table claiming to be the owner of the restaurant. He threatened a woman with a service dog to leave or else he would have the police escort her out. I have a family member who has a visual impairment and requires a guide dog, and I find this behavior completely disgusting. The service dog was behaving very well and was not disrupting anyone. The woman tried to calmly explain the federal law the man was breaking but he kept yelling over top of her«I don’t care what the law says, This is my restaurant and you need to leave or the police will escort you out» This business will definitely not see my business ever again.
