I was very disappointed with this place. The menu is very deceiving… supposedly all Boars Head brand meats, breakfasts that sound like gourmet dishes, etc, and the waitress does a great job of selling all these wonderful, fresh homemade specials they have. I ordered two eggs done over easy with their supposedly wonderful homemade sausage(for an additional $ 3.95). When the waitress brought out my breakfast, I was shocked. No home fries or anything accompanying the eggs… the supposedly wonderful sausage was just OK, but what was really disappointing was the portion… a few measly scraps of meat. And, the bacon they brought out looked like the kind you buy at Walmart that is pre-cooked microwave bacon… definitely not Boars Head bacon. I don’t think I will be coming back to this place anytime soon.

If you’re not from Jersey the food here is pretty heavy. We are use to lighter fair without the heavy creams, cheeses, and sugars. Being from a healthier state(Colorado) this was just too heavy and made my stomach tender for the day. The lady is fantastically nice and the place is super clean. Coffee was the best on the Island by far. I will frequent but only for the coffee.

Great service, had a mocha, divine! And the lox bagel… very good salmon! only drawback was very expensive. felt bad about leaving a small tip but when we try to figure out the bill since we did not receive a receipt we stopped feeling so bad!

Ok so you have to visit this place. Visiting here from NJ and awesome breakfast well worth the price! My two friends and I were happy. I had the salmon and cream cheese on an everything bagel and another the challah egg sandwich and the potato pocket. We were all raving and the refreshing dialogue made me think we were in Brooklyn.

Visiting from New Jersey, Gina’s Café and Deli is a breath of fresh air from the homeland. I got the famous potato pocket, and was not disappointed in the slightly. The potatoes with, egg, bacon and a hint of rosemary were delicious! I even got the homemade sausage, which was a succulent addition. The service was wonderful, and Gina did a fantastic job on the grill.

The homemade smoked salmon is incredible. It just melts in your mouth and as a very distinct but not too fishy flavor. My chai latte had a delicious and unique spicy flavor, almost like freshly baked ginger snaps. The lady who served us was also extremely friendly and passionate about the food. Food came out very quickly even though it was made to order. I will definitely be coming here again.

The ravioli seems like a simple dish, but when you pay attention to the texture of the pasta and the depth of flavor in the sauce you may become as obsessed with this dish as I am. It is sooo good!

The service wasn’t great and I just didn’t get a great feel. Maybe the server was having a flustered day but I just didn’t get a nice feel. Food was mediocre. Disappointed. I came here when I use to be lazy bean and even when they first changed it and the vibe is very different. I also didn’t enjoy hearing the staffs conversation amongst each other either. It didn’t seem like she had the best customer service training.

Too bad they were closed for the holiday. They’ll be back after New Years. We’ll just try them next time!

My first visit I had the crab cake sandwich. Real crab and cooked ok but just seemed to lack something in the flavor dept. but then again I should of gotten a pasta dish because they make their own right there. My next visit I got the much acclaimed potato pocket. Yes that really hit the spot. Very pleasant staff and owner. Small place with lots of local regulars. Definitely recommend going.

Don’t let the outside fool you or the fact the restaurant is in a little strip mall the food is wonderful and service is great. Try the potato pocket it is out of this world!

When you are looking for lunch and don’t want to eat precooked, packaged, fried, fake food be sure to stop in this cozy little establishment! Nice coffee bar with seating — will be perfect when we go in again for a specialty coffee or cappuccino and some great homemade food! I’m thinking biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast! They use fresh local ingredients. Items are made from scratch. Thank you Jean and Gina for a great lunch! I can’t wait to come back and try the eggplant parm!

The staff is super friendly and perfectly helpful and attentive. The food was amazing. The potato pocket is to die for. The Cuban isn’t your typical authentic Cuban but it is still delicious. We’re already planning what to eat on our next visit!

Delicious!!! Hubby had homemade blueberry pancakes I tried the potato pocket. Loved it. This is our new breakfast fav. Great service very friendly, gluten free menu available. Little pricy but fresh herbs and organic are not cheap. Excellent coffee(just had plain) from Guadmala, also organic and smooth.

This has to be one of the best breakfast/lunch/dessert places in Merritt Island. Run by some of the nicest people ever! I had the potato pocket. This was an omelette but with the eggs inside hashbrowns. It was recommended by the waitress and at first I was questioning my decision to try it. The potato pocket was one of the best breakfast items I have ever had. The hash browns were crispy on the outside, the egg was perfectly cooked on the inside, and they made the bacon extra crispy just as I requested. My grandmother had the sausage and peppers sub and said«I couldn’t make it better at home!» We decided to splurge on dessert because it was homemade. We ordered the German chocolate cake and it was the best German chocolate cake I have ever had hands-down. We will definitely be back and we will make Gina’s a regular stop.

Gina’s is fabulous! My parents and I stopped in to the restaurant for breakfast before going to the Kennedy Space Center. It was a couple miles out of the way, but totally worth it. My mom and I are both Gluten Free and Gina had plenty of options that didn’t leave us wanting more. I had the potato pocket(2 fried eggs, bacon and cheese all folded into a hash brown) which was to die for. Mom had grits and bacon and a side of grilled potatoes and red peppers. Dad had an egg and cheese croissant. We all raved about our meals and even considered driving an hour from Orlando to go back the next day for breakfast. Plus, it was a family restaurant and we loved to be able to support small business in FL. Well done Gina!

Beware to not order anything off menu without negotiating price first. The«lox» bagel was $ 12 because it has a small amount of «premium smoked salmon» A pumpkin spice latte is delicious, and is $ 6. Coffee and bagel $ 18. Ouch.

These are not just the best hash browns in Brevard County. These are the best hash browns I’ve ever had. Seasoned with rosemary, warm and soft on the inside and delightfully crispy on the edges. Breakfast is served all day. Both the spinach and pepperoni eggs are excellent, but the standout is the potato pocket. Perfectly fried eggs over cheese and strips of bacon, wrapped in those heavenly hash browns. The potato pocket is worthy of a road trip. I can’t speak to the sandwiches since our family is gluten free, but they make an amazing gluten-free peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. Gina is a masterful chef and her husband Bob makes excellent coffee. He’s also happy to bend your ear with tales of work at the space center and high performance sports cars(like the one that gave the 600HP breakfast sandwich its name). Both sons can be found working in the kitchen(one of whom is himself a chef), so you can feel good about supporting a local, family-owned business.

OK, normally I don’t give sandwich shops a 5-star but this one has me smitten after a couple of visits of rating hesitation. Where to start? Friendly family-run business. Small yet personal feeling to dining in. They serve Boars Head meat. Their menu is large and the sandwiches are delicious. I’ve had their moster bagel sandwich(I can’t remember it’s name but the owner’s son created it) and several sandwiches. The Cuban and the owner’s other son’s creation, the Ryan’s Titanic Deli Sandwich are faves here. My only recommendation for this place is to make a more legible sandwich menu sign inside. There’s just so much, and it’s jumbled in no particular order(save«hey, there’s a spot there to write this one in») that you have to really search it to find what you want sometimes. Also, they give a military 10% discount!
