Sonic Drive-In

This place was hot 10+yrs ago. Now it sucks. parking lot is pot hole city. and all the order machines «order buttons» are not even working and busted. i asked a runner if i could give her my order. she said i cant. go find one that works. so about 40% of them do not work. so avoid this location. management must not give a damn this is why i hate sonic. and i just went for a at drink happy hour. never again will i go. upgrade this stink hole. from employees to hardware.

I’ll go from the beginning of the visit to the end.
You drive in and the parking lot is filled with potholes, and it is poorly paved. They need to redo the entire lot. If you have a very large/​long vehicle, you’re going to need to back up and straighten out to get into the parking space. Don’t expect to turn in the first time.
Ordering is ok at best. It can be very difficult to understand the employee taking your order, and evidently, the employee can have a hard time understanding you. The speakers and microphones need to be of a higher quality and/​or replaced.
The employees might take quite a bit of time getting your food to you. It could be faster. The soft drink I got had very little carbonation and it tasted kind of watery. You would be best off by ordering a slush or ice cream. Another thing to note, they only give you one or two peppermints. They used to be hard peppermints, but now they’re soft. I like the hard ones better, but the soft ones are cheaper.
Backing out of the parking space is easier than pulling in, in my opinion. Leaving the parking lot isn’t that bad. It’s better than some Sonic locations.
Overall, try to avoid this particular Sonic location if you can. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with it, it just feels cheap and run down. Go to a different Sonic instead.

The Sweet Potatoe Tots were disgusting and the serve was very perturbed that i wanted something else…

Good Customer service even when its busy. Didn’t get the guys name but he was going car to car making sure all customers were doing ok. Got a awesome car hop (Jerrett) very friendly and fixed our order without looking annoyed like the other car hop we got. Well Besides the person who mest up our order its all good. We will still come back. Today is Customer Appreciation Night Sonic ½lb Cheese Burger 89 cents + tax Limit 5.

So after we went to the Dallas Zoo we needed a little replenishment.
What better than Sonic?
And since I thought it would be cool to drive by our old ghetto house in Mesquite, we decided to stop by our old one. (:
They were surprisingly fast and efficient. And happy hour is ALWAYS a good time because drinks are half off.
The bf got a regular cheeseburger with jalapenos. AWESOME.
I got a teency chicken strips sammy. HEAVENLY.
We shared a small order of tator tots with cheese. I cannot even describe how wonderfully amazing and delectable tator tots with cheese are. I was almost disappointed my lame California bf didnt like them until I realized that meant my fat ass could eat them all. (:
And of course, I washed it all down with a cherry vanilla Coke. Yum.
Fat days are here again…
