Sunday of Mardi Gras–
Small but well designed celebration for the community. Most would say it wasn’t well planned to take on Baccus for the same time slot. I say, this is planned for just that. You could go downtown and enjoy an evening but if you want to enjoy a parade in a small setting, this is the place for you.

New Orleans, LA
This was probably the best parade in Metarie. I got a lot of throws in this one. I will admit the floats were pretty awesome too! Even though I was really drunk I managed to take quiet a few photos for this one also. This makes only the second time I have ever been to this parade. Will I go back next year? who knows.

Kenner, LA
This was the only Jefferson Parish parade on Sunday (Dimanche Gras?) this year, so we attended. It was actually a great parade for my daughter… not too crowded, lots of throws.
Nothing overly special, and it was very short, but really no major complaints either. This is a nice change of pace from the huge krewes on Mardi Gras weekend.
