Vision Optique

I wish I could give 0 or less than 0 stars.
On 2−29−16 I dropped off my daughter’s RX for her contacts at Vision Optique. I asked if they had a price match guarantee and was told they did. I contacted Costco and their price was much less expensive, the sales lady offered that same price. She ran my debit card without asking about insurance which brought the price down again. My card was run for the total of $ 190.38, which was about $ 95.00 different than the price we discussed, she then told me she could not credit my account and the owner would write a check for the difference and this is their policy. Today is March 14, 2016, the owner, Rod Gruenid has never contacted me, I have still not received a refund check for the difference and every time I call, I am told he mailed it from Covington, La to Kenner, La on different dates. the last I was told was it was mailed on Thursday, March 3^rd. This is such a bad practice for any business and I hope there is some repercussion for this incredibly unprofessional way to handle a business. BUYER BEWARE!

Very Helpful and kind while I acted like a huge baby getting my contacts for the first time. I found Vision Optique to be very reasonably priced as well. Highly recommended.

Don’t get your progressives here. They don’t know how to measure your eyes. They were very nice and tried to help but just couldn’t get it right. Regular glasses are probably fine here and like I said the servers were very nice.

I had my eyes checked and was fitted with glasses and contacts by Vision Optique over two years ago. The optometrist who examined me was an older gent, uninterested in my eyesight or creating an accurate prescription. The conact lenses didn’t work well — the prescription was way off because they’d run out of the right lenses. My glasses fared a little better, but over a year later the lenses themselves began to deteriorate as the layers separated, ruining the prescription. FInally the frame itself snapped in half. I’ve had eyeglasses that lasted for years, never such a shoddy product (or poor examination) that costs so much. There are better opticians in the area for sure!
