Went here for the brunch and got here before 1020. Brunch runs until 1100. we were cutting it close but we called in and they said that we’d be fine. When getting here there was no coffee, no mimosas, and worst off barely any food to cater to the small party of 3. The only thing stopping me from giving it 1 star is the location was good. Don’t waste your time or money. The staff wasn’t helpful at all and only treated us worse when they saw we were the tad bit upset.

Horrible! I purchased this through groupon and was excited about a nice brunch in SOBE and got the complete opposite. We arrived and there was no food inside the trays, we never got asked refreshments and when we asked for our unlimited mimosas they had ran out of orange juice! Utterly disgusted w/the service and the food. Would never recommend this to anyone!

Awesome grilled seafood. Generous portions. Awesome service. I wish I lived in Miami! This is an underappreciated place in my opinion.

Went for a Groupon special for brunch and service and food was awful! first the guy waiter gave an attiude about having a groupon, than the buffet food was«cafeteria» frozen food and bought muffins and danishes. BAD food and bad service. to think he got away with a 18% mandatory gratituty for not doing anything!

The restaurant has recently changed. They have given it quite a nice face lift. The inside looks gorgeous. The food was great. We were on a food tour and the chef created a special plate for us. That was very impressive. He came out and talked about the dish. He was very nice. The service was good. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return.

Went a couple of days ago but forgot to review about it! It is a great atmosphere at Catch 10, service is great. I had the garlic shrimp scampi and the pasta was amazing! Great shrimp dish if you love shrimp! Very cool place

My girlfriend and I came here for brunch, we had a groupon coupon. The server was very nice and the mimosas kept coming. The buffet was great. All the food was fresh and delicious. I wish I had a bigger stomach. I will definitely come back to try the lunch or dinner. I recommend this place, overall a great experience.

Went for Sunday brunch. The service was about as bad as it gets. They were heavily understaffed, but nevertheless, the service was bad enough that I won’t be back.

I went to Catch 10 yesterday for Sunday Brunch, and the service was absolutely terrible! The server was extremely rude and would not even give eye contact to anyone in our party of 4 — he avoided us completely. I had to get up and ask for Ketchup because he never checked on us, and when we were able to get his attention for drink refills he took about 15 minutes to bring them even though we were the only people in there. As a Miami local, I will NEVER be going back to this restaurant again due to the TERRIBLESEVICE!

If you are using a Groupon for brunch deal, make sure you print out the coupon. They don’t accept the iPhone app Groupon for some weird reasons. It’s a okay place for average breakfast and they have a big outdoor sitting area which is kind of nice. I wouldn’t say don’t go there but don’t expect anything special either. I wasn’t too excited about my seafood omelette but my husband liked his vegetarian omelette.

Had dinner here tonight with a girlfriend and it was fantastic food, atmosphere and staff. We ate outside and had Coconut Shrimp Appetizer, Shrimp Scampi and Grilled Salmon. Our appetizer came with yummy steak fries and about 7 very large fabulous shrimp, my scampi had plentiful shrimp(again), and the pasta was cooked perfectly. It tasted like it was home-made and came from an authentic Italian restaurant. The salmon came on a large bed of mashed potatos, and we had sides of onion rings and mushrooms. All were divine. Our waiter Adam was fabulous. Great guy. Everything was clean, the atmosphere outside was incredible, really couldn’t have had a better night or meal, and we used a groupon which made it even better. We walked in and were able to get a table right away, and the vibe is very SoBe and fun. Enjoy!!!

Food is overpriced associated with the hotel. There were bugs all over the place. And most importantly, they do not have«fish & chips»!

**SEEPICS** My last«food hoorah» in SoBe *le sigh* Stayed next door at Wyndham Garden Hotel Miami South Beach(see review) and wanted to grab a quick bite on my wait to the airport. I thought I was playing it safe by ordering the three pancakes and fruit deal. Boy, was I wrong! There was no way in hell I’d be able to finsh all three of those giant, fluffy, syrup-soaking pancakes and fresh strawberries before my flight. Heaven knows I tried, and failed. It was a delicious attempt though.

Probably the worst food I have ever eaten. Can I give it no stars? I bought the recent living social deal so I could try this place out and it was a huge mistake. I got the steak and egg breakfast, which the steak was unedible. I actually think the steak was spoiled, it had a very strange taste and texture. My girlfriend had the seafood omelet which consisted of egg and some gray matter inside. I guess that was the«seafood» part. Stay away from this place. Now please excuse me, I’m going to go throw up.

This place tries to be an upscale restaurant with expensive prices and decent looking plates, however, the food’s quality is subpar. The chilean sea bass was too buttery and the diver scallops weren’t good. We were a group of 5 and the only plate that was good was the roasted chicken. Everything else was below average. Lastly, the coconut quattro leches was decent and the expresso crème brûlée was horrid. Nobody in our group liked it.

I discovered this place through a ½ off deal on . I had never heard of this place but I decided to purchase the deal because my bf and I were going to be staying on SoBe for the weekend and we both like seafood. This restaurant is in plain sight right on Washington but we walked past it 3 times. The restaurant looks like a cottage in between two hotels and they have minimal signage, so it is hard to spot. Anyways, we finally figured out that we were at the right place and we chose to eat outside. We started off with drinks; I got a mojito and my bf got a long island. Both of the drinks were good but the glasses were small, but I guess that is normal for SoBe. We had calamari for an appetizer and for entrees we had shrimp scampi and a mahi mahi sandwich. My shrimp scampi was very tasty. I had ample shrimp and the dish was not oily, which are issues I’ve had with shrimp scampi in the past. My bf had fries, which I enjoyed, and a mahi mahi sandwich which I didn’t taste but my bf described it as «ehhh». Our final bill was $ 74 but we ended up paying $ 25 due to the $ 25 for $ 50 worth of food coupon. However, I think that $ 74 is a bit pricey for what we purchased and the fact that we ordered off the lunch menu. Also, like many places on the beach they include 15% gratuity and 9% tax. I think the biggest problem with this place is its location. While we dined there, there was only one other table sat. This is most likely due to its odd location. Also, since the restaurant is in between 2 hotels we kept seeing groups of people, leaving or coming from the beach, strolling through the dining area and talking loudly. This may be a turn off for some people. In conclusion, the food and drinks were good, but pricey and the location sucks.

After reading the other reviews, we had low expectations. So, we were totally wowed. Started with the hot french bread with baked garlic(complimentary) — excellent. Had the house special for $ 22 — grilled mahi mahi with salad — great, carrots, asparagus and mussels cooked to perfection. Kev had the fish and chips — as a Brit — great — loved the chips — perfect to soak up the malt vinegar — provided by the served without asking. 10⁄10 — we will be back and will bring all our visitors. I loved the chips!!! We lived in SF and NY and we are extremely fussy with the food. So, we rate this as great. The fish and chips were $ 12 — good value. The salad could have fed 4. Don’t order too much. Great — we will be back!!! No we dont work for the restaurant.

March 2010 We were in Miami for a tradeshow and we decided to check out South Beach. We started looking for somewhere to get dinner, but prices were high and places were crowded. We worked our way back to Washington Ave. and stumbled across Catch 10. The place was practically deserted but the menu looked promising, so I spoke with the waiter and discovered that they had only recently opened but that they also supply room-service for the hotel next-door. Menu was primarily seafood/fish, drinks were made fresh, everything was delicious! And VERY reasonably priced, especially for the area. We had mini crab cakes(awesome), vegetable tempura, and a mixed seafood dish over pasta in a sweet, light tomato sauce(delicious). The seafood dish had mussels(~8), clams(~6), large shrimp(~3), sea scallops(~3) and calamari(lots). Large selection of beers and mixed drinks, the strawberry daiquiris were very good. The only drawback I noticed was that the table we sat at had a small surface area and would have been very tight if we had had 4 people instead of 3. Regardless, I would definitely recommend it :)

a variety of fresh seafood in a no-frills locale at reasonable prices. The restaurant is small, bright, and colorful, and will feel like the breakfast buffet seating at some cheesy oceanside resort. You’re not there for ambience, you’re there for fish they wait to cook until you finish your appetizer. I had pan-fried trout, crispy & flavorful. Just like daddy likes it.

Catch 10 Seafood Bistro is located in the Coral House that’s part of the string of hotels now known as Hotel Indigo located between 10th and 11th Streets on Washington in South Beach. I’d walked by it a couple times in the past few weeks, and finally had the opportunity to grab dinner there recently. The menu is seafood-centric, so if you’re not down with that, this place isn’t for you. I can only speak of the dinner menu, since that’s when I was there. There’s a handful of appetizer options, some fish dishes, and some fresh pasta dishes loaded with all kinds of shellfish. There’s also a chalkboard featuring a selection of daily specials. I opted to start with the gumbo, which was the soup of the day. My word, it was amazing! Loaded with spicy sausage, shrimp, and veggies, and topped with a little scoop of rice, this could very well serve as a main course. If this is on the menu when you’re there, you’d be a fool to pass it up. A friend tried the fennel and grilled shrimp salad app, and it was also very tasty, and large enough to share. For the main course, I opted to try the blackened tuna special featured that day, which came with wasabi mashed potatoes and some seaweed salad. A very tasty combination, and a huge portion(leftovers!). One friend opted for the snapper, which came topped with a mango-loaded salsa, atop a bed of greens. It was awesome. My other friend opted for the pan fried trout, also atop a bed of greens, but with some fingerling potatoes accompanying. Also delicious. We were all stuffed from our meals, and couldn’t even think about ordering dessert, though we’d had our eyes on the chocolate cake another table had ordered when we’d first sat down. Prices are incredibly reasonable, with appetizers in the $ 6 – 12 range, and entrees in the $ 12 – 22 range(the seafood pastas are the less-expensive options). The wine list is brief, but offers quite a few selections by the glass; my pinot grigio choice was a win in my book. Overall Catch 10 is a welcome addition to the neighborhood, and I look forward to catching another amazing seafood dish here soon!
