Waiter was amazing, did a great job of simplifying a very busy menu. Lobster bisque was best I’ve ever had. My counterparts enjoyed the Big Eye Tuna poke. Steaks were steaks. Accompaniments such as the lobster Mac were amazing. Blantons is the same price as Makers. Go figure.

This was our 3rd time at Prime 112. We had Flex as our waiter for the second time! Flex is Amazing, as well as the rest of the staff! We have had the stuffed Lobster every time we go, we highly recommend it! We will be back the next time we visit Florida!

Used my birthday as an excuse to finally try the infamous Prime One Twelve. It is one of the most well-known hot spots for celebrities and it has garnered a reputation for the excess of Miami. We went on a Saturday night and it was packed as could be expected. For an appetizer we ordered the Pan Seared Diver Scallops With Slow Braised Short Rib, then for our meal we ordered the 22 Oz. Bone-In Rib Eye, the Stuffed Maine Lobster, and a side of Truffled Lobster Mac & Cheese. Quality While the meal was definitely excessively large it was not as consistently delicious as I would have hoped. The Pan Seared Diver Scallops With Slow Braised Short Rib was very good. The Scallops were well cooked and the dollop of short rib on top was a perfect compliment. It paired very nicely with the truffle mash and the pinot noir sauce worked to tie it all together. I was less enthusiastic about the 22 Oz. Bone-In Rib Eye. I was eyeing the filet mignon, but chose to follow the lead of the server and go with the more popular cut. Personally I found the steak a bit tougher than I would hope and it was salted to an extreme. The Stuffed Maine Lobster was very good as it was layered with lump crab, bay scallops, and breaded stuffing. It was enormous, but the lobster itself was very fresh and the pairing with the stuffing was incredible. It was definitely my favorite item, but for the cost it needed to be. The last item was the side of Truffled Lobster Mac & Cheese. It was also very good, with lots of large lumps of lobster, and the perfect amount of truffle. Quantity The size of the items are absolutely no joke. Everything you order on the menu is absolutely enormous. The Stuffed Maine Lobster was enough for like four people alone, so with everything else it was a feast. This is definitely a place you go to with a large group with a very healthy appetite. Value Prime One Twelve is extremely expensive. You pay a lot, but you do get pretty high quality food in extremely large quantities. Plus you get a story to tell. Ambiance Prime One Twelve is located towards the southern end of Miami Beach. When you arrive you will find a line standing through the door. After you navigate some of the chaos you give you name, hopefully having a reservation, and then they recommend you head to the bar. We had arrived about twenty minutes before our reservation and were seated about thirty minutes after our time, which from hearing the horror stories seemed very reasonable. They have minimal couches to sit and wait as well as a tight bar space, but you will find yourself waiting alongside folks eating their meals at the bar. At least you can catch a game and enjoy some bacon while you wait. The seating is spread all over, both inside and outside. We were seated on a patio right near the front entrance. This gave us front row seats to the crowds piling in as well as a chance to hear the Ferraris roaring as they passed by. It is a fun spot and you definitely find yourself looking out to recognize a familiar celebrity or sports star face. Outside there was no music and I’m not sure if there was any inside either. It feels strange because it would seem to set up an intimate experience, but with the crowds the opposite is what really occurs. Crowd The place was absolutely packed to the brim, as could be expected on a Saturday night. The line was out the door and a reservation merely got you a seat within an hour of when you asked for it. The crowd was as mixed as you could imagine, but it was mostly people dressed up and out to celebrate. Some were dressed down, but most looked like they would be heading to the club next. Service Our server was very friendly, but was a bit more frantic than I would have hoped. He did not have quite the command of the menu as you may expect at a high end restaurant. He was very friendly, but just not up to the quality that you pay for. Parking In the area you can find plenty of valet spots, but finding street parking is going to be a bit more tricky. I highly recommend using Über and I also recommend getting dropped off a block or so away because otherwise you will be sitting in heavy traffic. Extra An enormous meal in a buzzy restaurant that comes at a cost. The food is good, but far from great. It is great for a one time experience to see the magic of Miami, but once is enough for me. The question is one of quality versus trendy, and for me quality wins out and there are both better steak and seafood spots across the city.

This place is absolutely terrible. Made a reservation for 9:30 and when I walk in on-time they tell me 10:15. Only go here if you want to be insulted and ignored by a manager and wait staff that thinks this type of treatment is normal. Don’t go across the street to Prime Italian. It’s owned by same person and you won’t want to go here either if you care about good service

Price reflects on the quality of food. I mean everything I ordered was made to perfection. The service was immaculate and the meats were to die for. I also got a side of truffled cream corn which was the best corn I’ve ever had. I had the NY Strip and my friend had the Kobe and it was truly the best steak. We ended off our meal with sorbe which was delicious too!

Visiting from the west coast for our 3 friends birthdays on Father’s Day. It was packed. I just want to thank the bartenders for working so hard, and for the unlimited bacon instead of nuts that really made my night! We had a large group and sat at the table near the bar. Our server«sir» David was the best(thanks for putting up with us, I know we were a handful) we ordered two seafood towers, every appetizer imaginable and every steak and of course I ordered the stuffed lobster which by the time we all got our own entrees we were already full and wanted to crawl in a corner and hibernate. This lobster was beautiful, stuffed with crab, more lobster, and scallops. I’m not joking it weighed 5+lbs, by the end of the night(and the horrible game against golden state and the pathetic acting skills of Lebron james) it looked like I didn’t even touch it. We had dessert too, our total bill was about 3k… and you know what. It was worth every penny! But disclaimer, if you or your group is going to be eating a lot because you all think you’re hungry, make sure you wear comfortable clothing, perhaps sweat pants or what we like to call… fat pants because after a meal like this you will not want to eat for a few days :) thanks everyone for making our trip memorable. And«sir» David… you the real MVP!

I’m not sure what’s so great about this place, besides that the Kardashian’s come here. We had a reservation on a Friday night for 7:30, and arrived at 7 expecting to have a drink since we knew it was sooner than our reservation. We sat at the bar, had a drink, and waited. and waited… and waited… After checking in with the host like 6 times, we were FINALLY seated at 8:30! I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for years and could tell our server was inexperienced. They came over too soon(trying to flip the table quickly), kept calling us «guys»(we were 2 girls), and said«cool» after everything we ordered. For a place that has $ 70 steaks on the menu you cant say«cool» after we order!!! They seemed upset we didn’t get more food, so we were quickly brushed off and left for the food runners and bussers to take care of us. I thought everything was overpriced for what you got, but the steaks were so delicious and perfectly cooked, as well as all the sides, that it could be worth it. Maybe.

We wanted to love this place but we were pretty disappointed. We were looking for a special occasion spot to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. Prime 112 is pretty famous as far as Miami steakhouses go, but the ambiance is lacking. We didn’t feel special there at all. We split the beef tartare, 22 oz ribeye, the truffle corn, tater tots, and the fried oreos. The tartare was a huge portion but the color was way off. Might have been old. The ribeye was okay, it didn’t have much flavor. The truffle corn was good, but could easily be replicated at home The tater tots were EXTREMELY salty. This is coming from someone who loves salt. The fried oreos were average. A lot of people rave that these fried oreos are legendary. Maybe coming from NY where you can get fried oreos at any fair, I wasn’t impressed. Would not recommend this place.

I cannot stress this enough: MAKE A RESERVATIONANDPLANTOSHAREDISHES. However, with said reservation expect a wait. Try an hour earlier or later than your typical lunch or dinner rush, if you have a large private party you will be seated immediately but with a party of 10 or under? On a Friday night? In January? For 8pm? You are crazy if you think you’re going to walk in and sit down. Almost insane. Not to frete my dear friends, just make a smart reservation, arrive early and then sit back and enjoy the atmosphere. This is why people keep loving the Prime restaurants after all.

Delicious steakhouse on South Beach! I came here with some friends and had a great experience. The waiters are very friendly and attentive and the food(for the most part) was very, very good. We had oysters to start, a ceaser salad and then split lobster, steak and for dessert we had their friend oreos. The best part of the meals was the fried oreos! Also, it’s not on the menu, but if you know to ask, they will also make deep fried red-velvet cupcakes– simply amazing and I highly recommend them! They have an extensive wine list and their cocktails are quite good. They have the option to valet or you can park in the Nikki Beach parking lot across the street for a couple of dollars. The only downside was that I was a little underwhelmed by the steak. Because this is an upscale steakhouse I expected the steak to be more juicy and flavorful and this just fell a little short. Overall, I recommend Prime One Twelve if you’re looking for an upscale dining experience with good food, wine and cocktails on South Beach.

My family loves to come here when we go to Miami ! For starters the bread is amazing !!! We started off with a tuna poke and ceviche as well as a caesar salad ! Yes we over ordered lol ! All choices were Delish ! Then for the main course we shared a porterhouse with scalloped potatoes ! You have to try them ! I do not recommend the Brussels sprouts. Stick to the comfort food and salads if you order here . Overall I had a good experience

My wife and I came here for our anniversary. To start the service was phenomenal hence the two stars, otherwise this place would be a big fat zero. I ordered the bone in rib-eye. This was hands down the worst rib eye I’ve had in my life. And for $ 65 it should have been one of the best. A rib-eye is normally tender and flavorful due to a nice marbelling of fat throughout the meat. The meat had zero marbelling and instead had chunks of fat around it. The meat was very tough and not at all seasoned. I would have been way better off going to Publix and grilling my own rib-eye for $ 10. My wife got the Sesame Crusted Tuna. She liked it, but I thought it was just okay. I would never go back, nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

Noisy boisterous and packed in like sardines, I really do not see the fuss over this fancy meat market. I just can not see people anymore slobbering over greasy slabs of dead flesh. I know it sounds harsh but this place is like a Roman Theater, an orgy of mini skirted high heel Leboutin girls and bald heads with smell of cigars, chewing into the dead carcasses of innocent animals. I don’t always feel so attacked and disgusted, this place just brought it out of me in a big way. I am a vegan yes, but this place is over the top. It celebrates death /dead meat in a way that I have not felt to be so distasteful. I have dined at Lugers, S&W, Capital, etc… but this place just makes me feel like I will never want to see this place again. I took the trouble to go ahead and call in ahead of time and ordered and described my preference for a veggie plate… not steamed, grilled with sea salt and olive oil. Simple right? They blew it. They couldn’t even serve a healthy delicious plate of veggies. Dessert is fried oreas, doughnuts, fried red velvet cake and I wont even look further down the menu. Come here for the heart attack and other mindless eating pleasures. Plus, you have to tip heavily at the reception to get a great table, else you will sit in the corridor near the bathroom if you get seated at all. But that is pretty normal in these types of restaurants especially those like this that is part of a huge holding, including Prime Italian, Nemo, Shoji Sushi, Big Pink(the greasy pink diner down the street with unhealthy options for breakfast), and Prime Hotel and Lounge.

I had a lovely experience for a birthday party here, the waiter took care of us all a party of 30! Bravo! Everything was great. The food was amazing everything on the menu was great. Unfortunately I’m not a meat eater but everyone raves about how delicious the steaks were. I would recommend the seared tuna and the side dishes of creamed corn and Mac and cheese. The raw bar was a big hit along with the tuna tar tar and baked potato options ! Great place

We had a Best of the West celebration here to honor my company’s top performances in the West Coast. Prime One Twelve is legit! Serves fabulous steak and seafood. Everything we had was sooooo good and the portions were ginormous. Most entrees were good for 2 people to share. Highly recommended for surf and turf addicts!

The husband selected this restaurant for our anniversary celebration based on Unilocal reviews and the promise of bacon if we had to wait. Unfortunately for him, with a 6:30 reservation there was no waiting. By 7ish, though, there was one. Our server was awesome — attentive without being intrusive or rushing us. He knew the menu and made great recommendations, including my delicious pomegranate martini. We had the arugula salad with goat cheese croutons. Loved the croutons but note, they are crusted in walnuts. For entrée I had the sesame crusted tuna with green tea rice ball in wasabi sauce. I would go again just for the rice ball. It was incredible with a great crust and delicious sauce. The husband had wanted to order the crab crusted fish but I convinced him we didn’t need two fish dinners and to get the ribeye instead. I should have let him get the fish. The steak had a great char to it but that was what you tasted — the char and a buttery flavor. I didn’t taste meat. After the portion sizes we were to full for dessert, which was sad considering the options looked incredible. Speaking of serving sizes. Most of the serving sizes are HUGE and the prices reflect that. An appetizer special was a 1 lb meatball. The lobster is 4 ½ pounds. The rib eye is 20 something ounces and $ 65. And salads cost $ 20 and can be shared by 4 people. So if you are there because you want to try the food, try to go with at least 3 – 4 people so you can enjoy more by sharing.

This place was recommended to me by a former NBA player who grew up in Miami. He said it is a must. Food was great. The Red Velvet cheesecake was beyond phenomenal… like a texture I’ve never encountered. The service at the door was terrible. Rude! The waiter was great though. Nice place!

This is one of the top five star, expensive restaurants in Miami or South Beach! Everything was very good. The waiter was helpful, the atmosphere, crowded sophistication! The food was excellent as you would expect. Caesar salad was out of this world. It cost $ 12 but it served four of us easily. I didn’t look at the price of anything else, but dinner for four came to approximately $ 700 with two bottles of wine. If you’ve been to Morton’s or any place like that, you know what to expect here. Fun time.

We have been here a bunch of times and usually a nice dining experience. We Checked in for a highly anticipated 730 reservation and there is at least a 1 hour plus wait and a ton of people waiting!! This is an absolute joke on Valentine’s Day! Totally oversold the restaurant and it was a miserable experience! Shame on Prime 112 you should be embarrassed for your obvious greed and disrespect of your patrons! Not sure we will be back!

Prime One Twelve is one of those restaurants you read about on TMZ because all the major celebrities were spotted eating there. All I can vouch for is that it is an amazing steakhouse on South Beach. When I arrived, I was immediately seated at a table. Not knowing what to expect food wise, we ordered a few appetizers to get out tongues wet as well as our entrées. We ordered bottles of wine and drink until the first order of food arrives. Out of nowhere, there are massive bowls of salad and plates of appetizers taking over the table. It’s a family-style steakhouse, so everything is extra large! No wonder people love coming here! The food was also all around amazing! I ordered the Japanese A5 Kobe Filet(the most expensive steak they serve here) and it was one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten. That’s all I can say. For those of you that are curious and willing to spend some dough, go for it! For dessert, I ordered the bread pudding, and to this day, I cannot get enough of it. If you are in Miami, put this on your list of your restaurants to go to!

Overall it is a decent place to go to, but do not expect too much if you were after an upper end experience. Too many misses in their service. Missed orders, misplaced plates, and couldn’t explain/recommend their plates well. The food was slightly above average. I think to compete in south Beach hot restaurant scene, they need to take it up a couple of notches.

This is one of the most famous restaurants in all of Miami. Whether your a local or tourists this is a must place to go to! Located on prime south beach it’s in a perfect location and easy to get too. Great for birthdays, family outings, date night or if you feel like indulging in some great food! Make reservations because this place gets picked. Even with a ressie you may end up waiting, but don’t fear because there is major people watching. You are sure to find a Miami local star, athletes, or just great dressed people. Get a drink at the bar and have the free bacon they give you while you’re waiting! Everything about this restaurant makes me smile. Humongous portions and beautifully decorated restaurant. The free bread they serve is you is good enough to stuff your face with! Keep in mind this place is expensive, but the apps, entrees, and sides you can share with minimum three people. My recommendations are the following: crab cake appetizer and ceviche if they have it as the special. Also, depending on season you can get fanny may oysters and stone crab legs! Entrée wise you can’t go wrong with any of the steaks. We have ordered the porter house and filet mignon. If you don’t eat meat, get the chills an sea bass. It’s huge, you can share with two people and it’s absolutely delish! Side was everything I’ve had has been delicious. Sweet potatoe fries, lobster Mac and cheese is to die for! The rum baked plantains are a must have. Best plantains I’ve ever had. If you can make it to the desert round definitely get their fried Oreos. I have also seen beautiful big pieces of cake from other tables. Enjoy and indulge! Don’t wear tight pants because you’ll leave extra full!
