Disappointing. Overpriced. Food is average and the service sucks. There are so many other places on the street. I would not come back again.

Hi everyone. Just want to share with my recent visit to Sandia bar and grill. Had a great experience and was nicely surprise of atmosphere and positive vibes from beginning to the end. All stuff was polite, respectful, professional. Pasta was cooked the way I like it, respect to chef and team. Dinner was not fancy, it was casual. Had a great time. Thank you.

This was our spot for breakfast while in Miami. The price was right and so was the food. Diana was our server who had a great smile. The mimosas were perfect. The lunch and dinner menu looks awesome as well. We will be back.

Nothing special ordered two pasta dishes and tuna tare tare. The tare tare was served with no chips or anything had to ask for chips to dip in the tare tare. Crab ravioli were average nothing special but not bad. Service was alright we had to flag our waiter down several times to get there attention.

Located right across the street from south beach. The staff was friendly but the breakfast was mediocre. Great if you want a quick bite. Also they have the light mist fans which helps a lot in the humidity.

Awesome place! Good food and great ambience! Ordered whole wheat pasta in pesto sauce and a gigantic mojito. Both were yummy! Also, live music is a plus!

Amazing place !!! I came here because compare to all the restaurant on the street this one had the best rating and really enjoed the food, service and athmosphere!!! Crab ravioly is incredible, little pricy but i guess it is normal for the place on Ocean Drive, my husband had rib eye steak and he sad it was the best steak he ever had !!!

Come here often when in SoBe. Got food at 50% off for lunch. Had the red snapper, asked for it grilled instead of fried. Have also had the churassco and my daughter had the clams with linguini. Offered us 2 for 1 on wine and beer, which few places will do. Food is very good, location is great. Usually Latino music playing, fun place to hang out and eat/drink.

Amazing place, great service. Our waitress Noris was amazing with perfect smile and very friendly outcome. She suggested us great dishes: like chicken and shrimp in curry sauce was amazing and my wife had filet mignon, which was perfectly cooked and delicious

We were in Miami for our 4th wedding anniversary. While looking for some place to have drinks we stopped at Sandia. We thought we would have a couple of drinks & head some where else. but the drinks, the ambience & especially our waiter Louis were so great we ended up sitting there for 4 hrs. For dinner I ordered penne pasta in vodka sauce with some veggies(which was not in there menu). To my surprise it was the best I ever had. The live music was great. And Louis is the best waiter we have ever met. We will make sure that every time we go to Miami we visit Sandia.

We were looking for a Cuban restaurant but it had closed down and my group of friends were hungry so this place was close and ready to seat us. Although they had seated us right away, we were there for over 2 hrs solely because of long wait times in between. Took forever to get our drink and food orders, got our water refilled once and it was after being there for 1.5hrs and we had to stop someone to ask. Food was OK, and they had 2 for 1 drink deal. Food is expensive for what you get and they charge a 19% gratuity on groups, explains why they could get away with poor service. Churrascos steak was dry, and not much flavor. Watermelon mojito was my fav thing about this place. Other than that it just kinda pissed me off. Maybe this place is better when it’s not as busy, but even then didn’t enjoy much at this place, so just try elsewhere instead, plenty of other good places in the area.

The girl out front told us we would get two drinks for the price of one. Sold! When we order the waitress said you had to order the larger drink to get the second for free. That’s was a $ 25 cocktail. It was good I got one made from Watermelon. Very generous with the liquor. Food wasn’t all that. I had steak salad which was a lunch special. Very little meat and salad had lots of oil based dressing. Service bad, really bad. Not Crowded but waitress was off and about and ignored us, but they automatically add a tip of 19% so I guess she isn’t worried about having to earn her tip.

Nice place to eat just another south beach spot with decent food, nothing too special. My baby loved her Crab Ravioli with Lobster Tail and Shrimp, my cousin had Crab Alfredo which he completely smashed! I had something more custom like Buffalo Wings/Coconut Shrimp/Crab Cake. The«2 for 1 Drink Scam» got me. It’s all good

Came here twice for their 2 for $ 29 huge drinks. Can’t even finish them. Got food the second time and it was delicious. Food is pricey like everything in south beach but at least the food and drinks are good unlike every other place on ocean drive.

Sandia is one of those places that you just walk by and they offer the 2for1 drinks… So, we decided to stop and grab one of the famous 32oz mojitos and get a 2nd for free, which actually didn’t make this a bad deal… Also, ordered a mixed appetizer platter which was actually huge and tasted decent, not great but decent. Overall, this place was just average but for the price it wasn’t a bad deal. Service was also very solid. 3.5 stars. Pros– 2for1 drinks Huge mojitos Huge appetizers Good service People watching Cons– Drink taste Food taste Ambiance not all that great

The drinks were okay, my friend and I chose to do the 2 for 1($ 35 for the 56 oz. drink). I got the strawberry caipirinha and it was pretty good. The beef carpaccio was meh, not the best I’ve had but it had a decent flavor. From looking at the other plates they looked good and big in proportion. Not sure I’ll be back.

While walking up and down Ocean Dr you’ve bombarded with hosts and hostesses yelling out, «2 for 1 drinks» trying to convince you to visit their establishment. On the way to Le Sandwicherie, we passed by Sandia and commented on how huge their drinks look. On the way back to the beach, we decided to drop by to see what all the fuss was about. When we sat down, our waitress was literally scurrying around. She seemed preoccupied but she seemed frazzled if anything. It took a while for our table to get waters and when we asked about the 2 for 1 drinks that the hostess had been raving about, it turns out that this is only applicable for the giant 56 ounce«party sized» drinks. At $ 35 per drink, they’re pretty steep. However, getting 112 ounces of alcohol for $ 35 during happy hour isn’t too bad so we took the plunge. My boyfriend ordered the lobster paella and my friend ordered the calamari. The drinks came out first and were actually quite good. The paella was GIGANTIC ergo its hefty price tag. It came with two whole, unfortunately overcooked lobsters, a ton of rice, octopus, shrimp, chicken, and some bacon bits. It was pretty tasty and the portion size was just absurd. It’s definitely a dish to share. The waitress was really absent during our meal. She was nice to a certain extent but I wasn’t a fan of the required 18% tip requirement. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience. I left with a full tummy and a to-go cup of mango mojito that I ran around the beach with. Yes, they give you to-go cups for your massive 56 ounces of alcohol. Make sure you drink some beforehand because their cups only hold 32 ounces… Enjoy.

Absolute Abzocke!!! Lockt Gäste mit 2 for 1 Drinks und 20% Rabatt aufs Essen und schlägt dann die 20% als Service wieder drauf! Essen war allerdings super…
