Miami Beach, particularly North Beach, doesn’t have a whole lot if viable options when it comes to a haircut. In this neighborhood, on my quest for a decent cut, I have paid both little and a lot, visited both salons and barbers and have always left frustrated with the final outcome.
I’ve at least visited this Supercuts location enough to figure out how, when & who to show up for to leave at least semi-​satisfied (or at least not in tears). There are two butchers that normally work nights, stay clear of them. Daytime is the best time to show, that’s your safest bet. Visit at your own risk and make sure to carefully inspect the final outcome BEFORE YOU LEAVE!

they do not understand English or for that matter simple sign language gestures like shaking your head up and down for yes and sideways for no. five times I asked the woman to just cut a tiny bit of hair, she chopped it all off. I stopped her a few times and told her shes cutting too much, at a certain point it was useless, my hair was gone.
this place really sucks.

Those who have met Primo in person know that haircuts are not high up on the list of things to worry about, since there are more brains than hair above Primo’s shoulders.
It’s therefore a skill to really mess up my twice-​monthly trim, but Supercuts gets five stars in the screw-​up category… what was especially outstanding was how quickly she did it.
In under five minutes the surly old female hair cutter distinguished herself as a blind-​butcher, all the while trying to up sell me on products my follicle-​challenged head will never need. Steer clear!

So I’m new to Miami Beach and i needed a quick, VERY simple haircut. By simple, I mean i needed my head shaved. That’s it. No fades, no, lines, no guards, just a shave. Somehow, they messed that up. There were hairs sticking out, little patches of uneven hair, etc. Worst buzz i’ve ever gotten. It was the most expensive 2 minutes of my life. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
