Came here for Mother’s Day looks like a cute little spot to go to. Sadly I had to return a total of two meals considering all of there salad was old with black all over it the server said that they knew and there was nothing they could do about it? I would recommend possibly recommending a different dish that doesn’t have salad to your customers if that was the case. The gentleman working there seems a bit lost tried to order a soup and he told me are you sure that’s what you want to order since you ordered a sandwich. Thank god I’m a very petite girl and didn’t get offended by this but you don’t speak with your customers this was. Then we asked him for ketchup that was an expired bottle that he never brought to us someone else did after asking me 3 times and forget about asking for anything else with him. Luckily there was a woman there with long black hair she handled everything very nicely. Especially with the table next to us the man forgot to puts order in. Tighten a few things up and you guys will do much better business wise.

if you want authentic French bistro, this should be you’re spot. everything about this place is wonderful I almost hate to advertise it. the service is good, the food is amazingly delicious, and the restaurant is pretty cool inside. I would recommend French Onion Soup, Norwegian Cream Chees Crêpe, and the Salmon Mozzarella sandwich!

We were here last night for a late tea and dessert which was so fabulous that we had to come back for breakfast. We were not disappointed! Fabulous, fresh food. I cannot say enough good about it!

I have been around the beach area for the past weekend and found a little french bakery around my area and decided to check it out for breakfast. The parking is right in front of the store so you don’t have to look for parking or pay. They offer inside and outside dinning and decided to be seated inside with my party of six. I quickly ordered a cappucino and went through the menu and saw that they had a great selection for breakfast(you can ask for organic for an extra charge). My son was not feeling so much the breakfast menu and ordered a chicken philly sandwich and he enjoyed it. I ordered a simple breakfast sunny side up eggs with bacon and a french baguette. This place wasn’t bad but with so many breakfast spots around I thought this place was okay. But the service was great and the server was very nice.

It wasn’t a bad experience, it wasn’t a great experience! Just maybe I’m not French?! So I didn’t fit in? But the food though over priced a tad is delicious! So if your willing to pay a few dollars over market value then give it a shot! Over all I’m full and happy!

Let’s start with what needs improvement. It’s dirty and über messy. You’re paying sit down service prices(its not cheao for what you’re getting, as usual Miami taking advantage of tourists and locals to boot) but it feels like you’re in a subway cafeteria. A good solid cleaning, a paint job and OMG some functional design for the seating and retail component and they would be set. The food. Wide array of choices. On this stetch of Collins it’s hard to find an ok menu so it’s a plus. Crepes, maybe I’m used a whole different crêpe growing up in french colonial Africa… but the crepes here are a PASS. Dry, crunchy, instead of soft on the inside and very slightly crisp on the outside. Very disappointed. Was hoping for a decent crêpe. Good coffee in the euro tradition. Great great pancakes. Not your Gringo variety. Sweet but too sweet, thick and moist on the inside and crispy on te outside. French fries ROCK. Think thick cut euro style fries where you can taste the potato. They get three stars for those three solid choices but lost one for the rude owner. Service…bad. I had the owner put his hand up in my face when I made a friendly comment. He was too stressed out to handle his cash register. This man has no business being front of the house.

Just found out about this place and decided to check it out. We absolutely loved the crepes! Both the savory and the sweet. Daniel recommend us the«marron chantilly», which was delicious, as well as recommending a lot of great parts of France for my next trip. Both Daniel and Nora made our visit very pleasant, and we were able to get some work done on our laptops as well. If you like good food, or you are looking for an alternative to Starbucks around Miami Beach, this is the place!

I had good cappuccino and a bakery type snack. I then told the owner that I wanted to buy an assortment in a box for a homeless woman that Helped out. I didn’t ask for a price break. I just wanted her to know what I was doing. She gave me a box of old stale bakery items. The kind homeless woman went from elation due to the gift to frustration and disgust that she was given stale«treats» that she couldn’t eat. I will never return there again and I could never recommend this place to anyone.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast and the place was«ok». We have a French bakery back in Charlotte that we love — so maybe I’m biased, but I just wasn’t impressed with the food. It wasn’t that good and it was way over priced. A cup of regular coffee was 3 bucks, and a side of fries was 6 bucks! Crazy! The wait staff were the highlight of the dining experience and were very friendly and eager to serve. Based on the price and quality of the food I would not return, but I would recommend for maybe a late night stop, or if you want some really nice conversation with the wait staff!

We stopped here on our way to the beach and ordered two regular coffees(very good) and crème cheese crissonants(also very good). The place was a lot smaller than it looks in the pictures and with all of the seating it was hard to get in and out with our to-go order. The staff was very friendly, I would recommend going here for a quick breakfast.

I’ve never had such amazing service in my life… Had a lot happen in one night ended up being stranded first time in Miami and they welcomed me with open arms to be safe, stayed and ate and the food ended up being just as good!!! Will forever come here.

Not deserving of even one star Ordered cappuccino and double espresso. Neither drink was acceptable. My cappuccino wasn’t drinkable. Much more appalling was the owner’s attitude. Shame on you. You should not be in business.

Are you crazy? $ 42 for pancakes with banana and Nutella, a turkey sandwich, a smoothie and a fresh squeezed juice? The place is held by Frenchies, they cook French dishes and American ones too. Services is poor, they are running all other the place, we waited very long to get our food and we were not the only ones to complain … The sandwich was with French baguette … Very hard to chew and what was inside wasn’t much … Even if I’m starving I won’t go there anymore … Even the cashier is slow and makes mistakes … Hell in kitchen …

Great place to start the day. The breakfast crêpe is delicious, the other crepes and croissant are also really good. A rich variety of tea adds to a great morning at Astrid’s.

I was staying at a friends house nearby and found this restaurant on Unilocal, she had never been there before but will be a frequent guest from now on. I was pleasantly surprised at all the offerings that A&S had to choose from. I ordered the BLT on a whim because I had a craving for bacon. Little did I know that I was going to get almost a whole pound on a huge french baguette(maybe I didnt need to add on that avocado) that I couldnt finish. It completely hit the spot. My friend got the Croque Monsieur and loved it so much she got another to take home. We got fresh brewed coffee and tea(free refills). We had great service and would definitely come back if Im ever in the area again.

Unfortunately, I can’t say we recommend this place. We go to the beach every weekend and typically eat breakfast before. This place has a lot of authentically French qualities as in it reminded me of typically cafes in France, however, it was dirty, the waitress was way too talkative with terrible timing and the simple items on the menu were overpriced. There were flies all over the restaurant. The classic French breakfast which was a croissant, small baguette slice with butter and name was $ 10. The breads weren’t even fresh baked. They were actually hard and kind of cold. We also ordered pancakes with medium eggs on the side. The eggs were fried and rock hard, with so much seasoning I couldn’t eat them. The pancakes were so sweet and over fluffy with loads of whip cream. It was a disaster. The«fresh squeezed orange juice» was basically Tampico with some pulp in it. It was just all around a lame experience. We really don’t know how they are still in business :-( My suggestion is that management needs to hire new staff(front and back of the house) deep clean the place and SIMPLIFY the menu. Also they should invest in a hood for their kitchen because you will leave with your hair and clothes smelling like burnt cooking oil.

Let’s see… The French waiter in typical form corrected my pronunciation of Croque! And that’s why I knew the place was authentic. Coffee was rich and tasty, and the croissants were really great. We found it on Unilocal and we’re glad we did. Nice place for breakfast.

Love it! Only go on weekends so happy they have there own parking. BIGPLUS! Daniel & Justin BIGGERPLUS! (BTW, they speak Spanish) Thanks guys for making us feel like guests in your home and like we have been friends for years! Keep going the extra mile! It means so much! Food — very good. It’s a café and has the café feeling. Expect that vibe. So have a glass of wine and a cheese plate, or a café au Lait with a savory crêpe!

Horrible service ok food, not worth the price. Went in for a to go order of baguettes and croissants. Took 20 minutes to get acknowledged by the cashier who told me to wait. Understandable if there were more than 2 patrons in the restaurant. Then they added 15% tip to the to go ticket so 6 croissants and 2 baguettes were $ 48. Not worth half that.
