Food was great we shared an app with five different pieces of bread with some different topping on them and a Ribeye steak that was juicy and just delicious… A little over priced tho beer is $ 7 and remember they add the gratuity already 18%…

Very nice staff. Good Lincoln road location. Food was so-so. Sangria was so-so. Service was very friendly, but somewhat inattentive(3x asked for water and waited 20 min to pay). Made mistake on check. Again, super nice. Not going back

Spent about an hour walking around Lincoln Road and this was the place that made the best impression to me at the time. So I felt it was worth a try and grabbed an outside table. I ordered a steak salad plate and it arrived rather quickly. But as quick as our meals arrived, it wasn’t great. Maybe good at best but there was a period where our waitress appeared to have forgotten about us as I sat with an empty glass for some 15 – 20 minutes. We ended up getting the attention of another waiter who apologized and really helped out with the rest of our experience… even gave us a slight discount. We felt bad because he mentioned how we weren’t the only ones who were experiencing bad service. I didn’t get the name of the waiter who helped us out towards the end of our visit but whoever you are, big thanks. Because if it weren’t for you, this place would be getting a 1-star vote from me

Horrible food and service. Waiter Sergio is just awful!!! Don’t eat here, keep walking — there are better places, this is bottom of the barrel!!! The waiter brought food I did not order and insisted I pay for it since I tried it– I told him I tried the tapas because I thought it was what I ordered and I wanted to send it back, he said he would give me a discount but never did. I ended up getting it packaged and giving to homeless people in Miami. Please note– restaurants here in Miami automatically add 18% tip here so there is no incentive for the wait staff to give great service, move on to another restaurant that will be worthwhile the 18% tip.

To be honest, I would say this place is so so for me, probably because I don’t really love Spanish food. The tapas and mussels are good. The flat bread is ok. The highlight is the key lime moose, which is the best out of everything I ordered for lunch. The overall quality is average, but it’s far too expensive.

Went Xmas eve. Confusion between waitress and manager on whether thier was happy hour or not. Food was very good. We shared the platter. Still it felt touristy. Good thing I noticed the tip was already included.

De nuevo mi visita a este lugar. Ahora hay tapas muy típicas de España. Me encanto la comida y la gente. Hay buen ambiente.

I don’t like places that take automatic tip, and now I know why. ¼ of the place full and food took long to come, and waiters all in the same place so busy. Busy doing what don’t know. As for the food it’s nothing special at all.

Amazing service never disappoints! A must do every time I’m on Lincoln Road. Great deals and awesome atmosphere. You can never go wrong with the Churrasco and French fries! Staff makes sure we always feel at home and management especially Sergio always goes above and beyond to meet our needs :)

Tapelia is one of the plethora of cafes that line up Lincoln Road, and a decent option to stop for a quick lunch. Occupying the space of a former franchise Spanish sandwich shop, the menu is similar in concept. Like its predecessor, it’s fast casual(order at the cashier and they bring your tray over to you.) The cashier was functionally friendly, and I got hit with the dreaded 18% automatic gratuity. I ordered both their Rustic Chicken Sandwich as well as the jamon iberico platter. The sodas came with free refill, but I had to ask twice to get a refill. My iberico platter was generous and the jam had the requisite saltiness. Cheese and a couple slices of serrano, as well as a slice of bread completed my meal. No real complaints there. The reason I’m just making it three stars — other than the automatic gratuity — have to do with the chicken sandwich. The sandwich was mostly greens(the arugula was fresh) with just about 6 small pieces of chicken. There were greens on the side, and I wasn’t offered balsamic vinegar or olive oil to finish my salad with. Still and all, it’s one of the better places to stop for lunch on the strip. Just order the ham platter!

We tried the sea food paella for two(dinner). The sea food was under cooked and the quantity didn’t justify the price. But biggest disappointment was with the imposed 18% gratuity… Service(and food) didn’t deserve that much, also imposed gratuity never feels right :/

I really liked the food at this place however they need to train the servers on proper service. The waitress was polite and nice but when we sat down we asked her what the deal was with happy hour she told us she didn’t know… If you’re working somewhere you should know this. I mean come on. So she asked the hostess who explained the drinks were buy one get one we ordered Albariño it was nice, we had a meat and cheese platter delicious, and a flat bread with chicken it was yummy. It was a little strange as soon as she brought the flatbread before we even started eating it she asked us if we wanted the check, like I said good food but staff needs to learn points of service.

Late Review — Back in September, a few girl friends, my sister & I came out to Miami Beach for my sister’s Bachelorette Party. We basically ordered the entire menu, & the house sangria :0) & sat outside under the huge umbrella with the sun peaking through the clouds, enjoying the hot weather. EVERYTHING. & I mean, EVERYTHING is BEYOND delicious! & I’m a total food snob. and then the rain comes. EPICDOWNPOUR! Now, we’re from the Bay Area(SF, California) & if any of you watch the news, we are in a severe drought, so being able to see the rain &NOT be cold was actually a treat =) Then It got to the point where the rain was storming/thundering/lightening. The umbrella we were under was starting to sway, & before I knew it we were getting ushered by the waiter & manager to come inside the restaurant. These boys, let me tell you… are straight up gentlemen! One by one, they grabbed each of us with an umbrella heading towards the inside the restaurant & they even saved our food! We didn’t get out until after the downpour was over(about 45 mins) The manager, SERGIO& his trusty waiter, MAURICIO made sure we were comfortable & even got us another sangria to pass the time!(YAASSSS!) Thank you Sergio for your hospitality! It’s refreshing to see that chivalry isn’t dead =)

We came here during a happy hour special, and I was pretty stoked by the $ 5 sangrias. We got the classic and the lemon, and the difference is that the classic comes with orange slices instead. Sangria was great and each pitcher will serve 3 mason jar glasses. In terms of their tapas, they were decent, but none of it really blew me away nor was it particularly memorable. You must love bread because I think it’s in EVERY dish they have, so sorry to the gluten sensitive and people on fad diets. The service was good. They brought us extra pork rinds on the house so I really can’t complain. They made a mistake on our bill and forgot to charge us the happy hour price, but were accommodating when we realized it. I think if I came back again, I would just get drinks here before hitting the beach.

Food, Service, and location was great! We ordered calamari, Tapelia Mix platter, house sangria, Smoked Salmon, Lacon Sandwich, and Mauricio was a great waiter! He was super attentive, made sure we were taken care of and on top of it! Sergio the Manager came to us, said hello and wanted to make sure we were enjoying our food and the service. We loved it all!

Even though we showed up a little late we had great service. I recommend to order the plates with different samples and then get an idea for the main entrée. I shared half a pot of four cheese mussels with my boyfriend; it was enough as a snack. 15 mussels for $ 15.

This place is so awesome. The Paella and the flat bread(especially the the greek flat bread) are so delicious and huge! The plattern of the house have very good quality!!! ham and cheese! And Bread!!! That is what europeans love and look for. I moved from Germany to Miami a couple of month ago and since they opend I come at least twice a week. They always have specials on Sandwiches, 2 for one drinks from 4−8pm or Sangria specials. The best deal probably is ribeye steak with fries and salat for $ 15.90 — definitly worth a try. The atmosphere is great. The Service is very good. They are so nice and attentive. The manager even comes by and asks if everything is ok. I never felt the need of writing a review before especially here in Miami Beach. You usually get mediocre food for ridiculous prices. But I really think that this restaurant is one of the best on the beach and definitly the best on Lincoln Road. Everything is on point here. Atmosphere, Service, FOOD and the price!!! Highly recommend !!! For dessert get the Tiramisu :) Enjoy!

Today was my second visit to Tapelia for lunch and although the first time wasn’t the greatest experience I’ve ever had this time I really enjoyed it. My wife and I ordered the Arugula Salads and their Tapelia mixed platter of meat and cheese. We were served our water within three minutes of sitting down and our salads and platter followed about 15 minutes later. Our waitress was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. She was professional, attentive and a great representation of a very good restaurant. Our salads excellent. I love goat cheese and I love Arugula so have no complaints in that department whatsoever. They were quite big however, certainly big enough for a meal on their own. Tapelia Mix platter was terrific. It is HUGE and can easily be split by several people. It had two different types of cheeses and three types of meat with sides of bread, olives and some sort of crushed tomato side dish. All of the meats and cheeses were of very good quality but I’d like to point out that the ham was truly delicious and by far best I’ve ever had. I can’t report what type of ham it was but it looked like a prosciutto although I don’t think it was. The combination of fat and meat was just perfect and it melted in my mouth. Excellent excellent excellent. I loved it. I wanted to compliment the owner Yamila but unfortunately she wasn’t there at the time but I’d like her to know the food, the service and the overall experience was just what I needed. I would easily recommend Tapelia to all my friends. If you’re in SoBe and are in the mood for Tapas then this is your place.

First review! What a wonderful atmosphere. The service is wonderful. We felt very taken care of and all her drinks were full all the time. Sangria was amazing! My wife really enjoyed her Spanish tortilla and the grilled octopus was outstanding. My two daughters devoured the raspberry chocolate mousse cake! I’ll definitely be back here! Bring a big appetite and friends to share!
