I was here with a Groupon. It included two sangrias, two tapas and a paella. Everything was yummy. The only thing is that they limited the tapas choice to 5 options. They had a wonderful, excellent flamenco shows with live musicians and dancers. Our server was lovely, and service was great. I would recommend even if you have no Groupon. Would definitely be back!

Paid $ 40 for 2 margaritas. Asked the bartender for chips and salsa. He asked the owner If that was okay he said«this is not a Mexican restaurant». Really? … I wanted to love this place but whomp whomp whomp. Yes the drink itself was good but for the price we should have gotten some bread or some chips. Most over priced margarita on the block.

Only because our bartender was awesome. A margarita for $ 16 is worth it but the manager/owner was mean(dick). Authentic music was nice but the manager ruined our mood with his attitude and we left right after we got our drink. Be friendly — customer service is key.

Was very excited to come out here but unfortunately every time i call 305−538−8272 for availability the same rude lady answers by just say«hello?» with an annoyed tone and tells me they are booked and hangs up, doesn’t even tell me when they can sit me. How about making your potential customers feel welcomed? I have been calling for 3 months now and nobody answers, just voice mail, doesn’t sound like a legitimate business. I bought a Groupon for the paella and sangria but i haven’t even gone there and already hate the service. Will be asking for my money back! Doesn’t deserve 1 star

We had a wonderful time eating dinner and people watching at our table on the sidewalk. The food was pretty decent, except for the Patatas Bravas, which were pretty bland and tasted like they were just covered in ketchup and mayo. Really yummy sangria though and pretty good service! I would say that it’s a bit overpriced but it’s Miami Beach after all, so that’s a given of any restaurant in this area.

We were in search of a place that served Paella, we are very lucky we came across this place. We were immediately drawn to this place bc of how friendly everyone was. We were greeted with free shots, can’t beat that. The Paella was delicious. I would have given this place 5 stars however our bill came out to be 415 $ with gratuity included already. If we were greeted with shots again, I would probably come back.

Unfortunately, after giving this place a few chances, this will be the last time my fiancé and I eat here. Tapas are decent, but their Paella Mariscos(which is supposed to be a signature Spanish dish) lacked flavor, the lobster was overcooked, the mussels were under cooked, and the combination of it all gave us both a pretty bad stomach ache about an hour after we left. Atmosphere is nice, which is part of the reason why this place got two stars, but we won’t be coming back.

I really wanted to like this place… Food was over priced, and not that great «Potatoes confit» = french fries… no joke… 18% TIPISINCLUDED! Because we didn’t notice this, we ended up tipping double. When we mentioned it to the server, he said the included tip is for the restaurant, and the additional tip is for him…

Place and ambiance are great. Bad thing they are trying to trick you with«brunch prices» when the menu does not specify the brunch hours. Food is great though. Manager handled this poorly. Shame, cause the spot is good for fun and relaxing.

I signed up for Unilocal just to review this restaurant. Incredible food, drinks, and service! The white wine sangria is just fantastic. The calamares a la andaluza was honestly the best calamari I’ve ever had. Perfectly breaded and seasoned. Not a single piece was overcooked and the sauce just took it over the top. The tortilla espanola was just a really well done dish, simple and perfectly cooked. And the seafood paella! The calamari was perfectly cooked, and the shrimp fantastic. And the red bell peppers were the sweetest I’ve ever tasted. Honestly, the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because the mussels and clams were overcooked, but that aside, it was incredible! Sebastian, our waiter, gave us the best suggestions and was incredibly attentive. And Espanola Way? A gem. Sit outside on a beautiful night and enjoy. This place is a must.

Without a doubt, this is a tourists’ trap… BEWARE!!! Service was friendly, but not necessarily good. Wine by the glasses was a fraud, $ 11 for a 5oz. glass, at a place like this? Food was the worst, Chistorras had that old taste when meet, is not bad yet, but has been too long in the fridge; Pimientos del Piquillo were filled with something like an airy and salty pana cotta with seafood taste(awful to the palate); they were out of Pimientos del Padron(at 9pm on a Friday night); the clams were tasty but there were SIX clams on the plate; and the paella, ah the paella, seemed and tasted as a badly under cooked risotto then assembled to, sort of, look like a paella. Fool me once, shame on me; fool me twice, that will not happen… Such a disappointment…

Nice bar located in one of the cutest streets in sobe Espanola way. Walking down this street u feel as if u’ve been transported to Europe. at least for a Lil while. Unfortunately we got here after the flamenco show had ended and so… we decided to just seat outside and enjoy a white sangria. Our waiter was nice. the drinks are quite large and typical sobe prices but def worth checking out especially if u have an out of towner. flamenco shows are at 9pm.

The restaurant is very nicely decorated in the Spanish theme as you would expect although we thought the music was a bit too loud and the lighting was a too dark for a restaurant. We ordered three appetizers; the cheese plate, Manchego, blue cheese, gouda etc, was sprinkled lightly with walnuts, dried cranberry and a few thin slices of guayaba. A plate of sliced Jamon Iberico(Spanish Ham) and toasted bread with tomato and olive oil. We had a couple of sangrias which were included with the Lobster seafood paella that we ordered as the main course($ 75). The cheese plate was good, its cheese how can you screw that up right? The tomato bread was also great, but I’m still very doubtful that the ham was authentic Jamon Iberico, it looked and tasted more like something you find at the local publix supermarket, except we were charged $ 40 for the plate. They ought to have a carving station were you can see it being carved from the piece, which is a thing of beauty if you’ve ever watched it done by a pro. The price on the menu is MP(Market Price), beware of MP on any menu item because this is Cart Blanche for a restaurant to hose you when the check comes which was $ 209.00, 18% gratuity included. The paella was very tasty and could easily feed four people, although the Lobster was not very impressive in quality to say the least, it was mostly all shell with no real lobster meat to speak of, you’d do better at a Red Lobster. Sangria was good. The service was excellent though and the waiters and servers were very attentive so they get high marks for that. Overall the food was mediocre and way too pricey, what you’re really paying for is the location.

Feel the passion of the flamenco at Tapas & Tintos, great performance dance! We come to enjoy with a group of friends, this beautiful and passionate dance, one thing we can be sure of is that flamenco in its original form was only voice, and primitive cry or chant accompanied only by the rhythm which would be beaten out on the floor. Flamenco is made up of four elements, Voice, Dance, Guitar and the Jaleo, which roughly translated means hell raising and involves the handclapping, foot stomping, and shouts of encouragement. Many believe flamenco to be the invention of the gypsies, and although they have been the main protagonist of the art !! When the gypsies arrived in Andalucia from India around 1425, they brought with them, their mysterious music and stimulating dances were soon to catch the attention! The show reveals the variety of music, singing and dance, incorporated in this passionate art form. Improvisation is a key element of flamenco, with each artist Individually interpreting the rhythm and communicating the beat to the others . Since childhood I practice this dance and I love a lot, for me is powerful and emotional, always brings goosebumps to my skin! Walked on a Saturday night and immediately got an inside table for a group of friends, service was perfect, food fantastic and the live flamenco passionate !!;) Wishing to all my friends Happy New Year 2016 !!!;) With hope that you will have many blessings in the year to come!!!;) A New Year is like a blank book, and the pen is in your hands, it is your chance to write a beautiful story for yourself. ;)

I wanted to rate them a 3 star, but boyfriend is not feeling the food. We both love the energy and ambiance here. We we’re visiting Miami for 4 days and came here to watch the Real Madrid vs Barcelona 2015. If you want fun energy, spicy Spanish music, sexy waitresses and hot male bartenders come check this place out. The drinks are great! My boyfriend didn’t like the food. The shrimp with Olive Oil and the Meatballs are what we ordered. My boyfriend actually said there was too much olive oil on the shrimp.

Tapas y Tintos was located at the end of Espanola Way in Miami Beach, it sure looked very impressive with music drifting to the street, beautiful girls in flamenco dresses standing outside to get more customers. We had just had dinner in a Cuban restaurant but was very excited seeing how beautiful the paella looked, we wanted to have a second dinner but because we had just missed the flamenco show, we decided to go back on Saturday. We went back on Saturday and was surprised the restaurant was 100% packed, people sitting on the sidewalk tables, we did not like the sidewalk and waited 15 min to find a table by the bar. We made to the happy hour but it was not much of a discount and worse yet, the beautifully looking mojito tasted awful, I had to add a lot of lime and still was not happy. Our server was very pretty and really nice, she explained that we should order the lobster paella($ 75) and not the regular paella($ 45) because it tasted so much better and came with 2 sangrias. I don’t drink sangria but this was really refreshing and delicious, so far so good. I had read many negative reviews on Unilocal but chose to ignore it because the restaurant looked so authentic, it must have authentic Spanish food, we chose to take the recommendation of a Unilocaler who had lived in Spain. We waited a while for the paella to come out but figured it had to be cooked from scratch, it came out piping hot, we loved taking a lot of pictures of the food. They looked 10 times better than the food itself. The paella was somewhat soupy but lacked the flaming flavor, I did not see any onion, it should have a little chorizo for taste but it did not have that, I did not taste any saffron as was required in Spanish cuisine, I realized saffron was very expensive and 8 out of 10 restaurants just did not have it but it did not have any paprika either, it meant that it was very bland, I asked for the huge peppermill, added a lot of pepper and salt so it was Ok after all the seasoning. We went to Barcelona twice last year and was nostalgic for a good paella we had on the Ramblas but was disappointed with Tapas y Tintos. That said, I still rate this a 3 stars, perhaps 3.5 stars because the flamenco show was very good and the ambiance was just like in a Spanish nightclub. As was customary in South Beach, they sure picked the tourists’ pocket clean, the mandatory, automatic tip was 19%, the tax was 10 or 13%, it was like 1⁄3 of the bill, we ordered nothing else, no soup, no appetizer and the bill came out $ 120! This restaurant had so much potential but we were thoroughly shocked at the bill. I would only recommend this for people who would like to see the flamenco show and if you had never had paella from Barcelona, this would be very good choice.

Oh man I so want(ed) to love this place. The restaurant is a charming tapas restaurant located off of the awesome Espanola Way street. The atmosphere is fantastic, the music is great, the food is… well that’s the last part they just can’t get right. The food: This restaurant has so much potential but just misses. Tapas we tried: patatas bravas, calamares rellenos de Gambas(calamari stuffed with shrimp), croquetas de pollo Tapas were decent, but nothing amazing. For the entrée we ordered paella marisco and it was decent. The Paella was quite large($ 45 it better be) and could easily feed 4 people imo. The Paella didn’t wow me at all. It was good but lacked the authentic taste. I really wished the food was better because the place has so much potential.

What a fantastic dining and entertainment experience! My girlfriends and I checked out tapas y tintos on a Saturday night and were thoroughly impressed with all aspects of their food, ambience, service, and entertainment. They had a flamenco show at 9 and 10:30 that night, and from what I understand it is every Saturday and maybe some other days during the week as well. We decided to order a few alcoholic drinks and several tapas(small plates) to share. Everything, and I mean everything, was absolutely delicious. My girlfriends enjoyed their beers and sangrias and I really loved their mango mojito. We spent a little over $ 200 all together, and we each had several drinks and we ordered a lot of food. Gratuity was included. The place was super packed. We made reservations for 9pm and we still had to be seated near the back, but we were still able to experience a good show. If you don’t feel like looking for parking in a garage and you don’t mind valeting your car, I recommend that. We walked about two blocks for a parking garage and the valet happened to be the same price($ 15). Whether you’re on a date, or out with your guys, or out with girlfriends, or just with your family, you are sure to enjoy this place. I highly recommend this little gem in south beach!

You can tell on Espanola Way that the restaurants want you to come in and enjoy the food, they all have hostesses on the street wanting to show you their menu and lure you in. We were approached by a lovely and loud waitress in a polka dot apron that convinced us to enjoy some tapas and drinks. The place is known for the gin and tonic menu and you can customize the way you like and enjoy. The server will come by with the gin in the glass and the tonic on the side and pour it in front of you! The tapas: Bread — complimentary and tasty, comes in a trendy brown paper bag with balsamic and olive oil Croquettes — these were delightful, a fried ball with chicken and cheese served with a sauce that was tasty but not spicy. Tiger Shrimp — the shrimp were cooked to perfection and served with olive oil, garlic and spices. Potato Espanola — this dish was big enough for 2 – 4 if you are doing tapas, it was light and fluffy and exactly what you would expect from this tapa. We had a male model deliver our food, he wasn’t bad on the eyes. Gratuity is already included so either be aware of that before you tip or add more money!
