I Have been coming to Berries since it opened a zillion years ago and can happily attest to quality food and drinks at a reasonable price. Lots of parking available which is a plus in this town. Best veggie burger. Nightly specials are awesome too. It has that small-town vibe in a metropolitan city. Like ‘Cheers’ where everybody knows your name.

Berries is such a cute place. I preferred it when it had no ceiling in the middle but I get it. Miami = crazy weather. This place is awesome for brunches. They have good brick oven pizza and drinks. The trees and lights are what makes this place. They also have ladies night!

Ate here recently while stuck here in Miami on a weather related trip interruption. We were staying within walking distance and Unilocal liked it so we gave it a try. We liked it very much. I had the flank steak special with chimichurri sauce and my husband had the salmon. We each had a margarita that was better than most. For dessert we split a peanut butter banana shake which was great! Our waiter was especially nice. Will post his name if/when I can recall it. He double checked with us our order to make sure he had gotten it all straight(he had) and even asked me if I wanted to substitute any of the sides for the ones that normally come with my entrée. I did but wasn’t going to «make trouble» by asking so I was thrilled when he brought it up! He gave us time after we finished to sit and relax before bringing us the dessert menu(first he asked if that’s what we would like and we said«yes»). All in all it was delicious and relaxing and fun. I’d go back next time I’m in the area and I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Came here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. We found parking quickly even though the restaurant was pretty filled, and were seated right away. There is ample seating, the place is very open. They have a seating area around the bar and a small patio seating as well that were all taken up with families and their adorable pups. It is facing the street so you do get the street noise from it. Aesthetically the place has a good vibe and is nicely decorated. It looks like a great venue for staff parties and large family get togethers. Locale looked clean and the staff was pretty friendly. We went for brunch and had steak and eggs, pancakes a mimosa and a soda. The food came out quickly and it was very inexpensive. Overall enjoyed my visit and wouldn’t mind going back :)

One of my favorite spots on Miami. They have fantastic pizza, great craft draft beer, open air seating so you get cool breeze even on a rainy day and an easy to access location just south of downtown. Great spot for brunch/lunch or dinner.

Prompt service and good food. I’ve only been here twice and both have been a good experience. I have some favorite dives nearby that I frequent more. So on those busy times I explore other places, such as Berries. I only had a salad found it to be very good. I’ll definitely be back earlier to take advantage of their breakfast.

First time coming here, I came to celebrate a birthday and it was nice. On the weekends they have brunch and we weren’t sure to order a bottle of champagne or to order the mimosas individually, I’m not sure if our serve said it right but she said that a bottle serves 4 and it costs $ 28, while individuals cost $ 6(4 individual misosas x $ 6= $ 24). So we ended up ordering the mimosas individually and they were good. The serves were very nice but they took awhile. The food was really good, I had the eggs Benedict, everyone else was satisfied with their food. I would came again, I would like to try for lunch.

I ordered the Tofu & Veggie Stir-Fry: Looooved it! Victor ordered the Berries Burger with seasoned fries, and he says it was delicious, too :)

Biked here for Sunday brunch and enjoyed their outdoor seating. The food was good but not great. The smoothies sounded really good but I opted to split a pitcher of sangria instead since I’m a lush. At 20 dollars a pitcher, it seemed like a good value and the size of the pitcher and the amount of fruit did not disappoint. However I would have much preferred a boozy fruit smoothie but found nothing of the like on the menu. For food I ordered the mushroom omelet with goat cheese and spinach. I enjoyed it but was not blown away. There was plenty of goat cheese which was good because that’s why I ordered it. The breakfast potatoes were cooked well with plenty of crisp but the toast was a disappointment. That may seem like a silly thing to take away points for but other places in Coconut Grove offer a variety of homemade bread and with a name that includes ‘berries’ in it I expected to receive some delicious jam instead of a single packet of Smuckers jelly. My boyfriend ordered the French toast and was disappointed as well. It was just very simple, boring bread. He compared it to something you might get at Bob Evans. French toast is his favorite so he’s knowledgable in the area! They also brought out his eggs scrambled instead of fried, but they brought him another order of eggs the right way pretty quickly. The service was pretty good and I’m still tempted to try again for dinner or happy hour as the location is good and I like their patio. As far as brunch goes, I’ll venture elsewhere.

Lauren had her first jerk chicken since Jamaica along with a bitter old fashion. The black beans were authentic Cuban style and tastes like soup… so good! Garlic fries and rice was not bad either. The salmon wrap was salty and just ok

We stopped here right after we got to our hotel to grab a quick lunch. It was Monday, which they have all day Happy Hour, win. We ordered a couple of beers, a burger and a turkey wrap. Everything came out rather quickly and was delicious! The atmosphere and the servers were awesome too! We loved it so much, that we decided to dine here on New Year’s Eve. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and my husband got the burger again, because it was so tasty the first time! The server was MIA for a bit, but it was really busy, so understandable. Everything was great and I would definitely dine here if I’m ever back int he area! Thanks Berries and Happy New Year!

great ambiance and awesome food. ordered the yummy, tender, and perfectly crisp calamari as well as the seared tuna dish. We were still hungry so we ordered the caprese app and OMG I have never had such an amazing caprese in my life. there was a big ball of roasted mozzarella that was so creamy you could spread it. The prosciutto on the bottom was so flavorful and they bake the pita to order so it comes out super soft and warm. ask for Marc he was the best and recommended everything for us!

This was our favorite restaurant during our Miami vacation. We luckily stayed at Hampton Inn(right around the corner from Berries) and dined here twice. Our first and last meals were at Berries, lunch on Monday, dinner on NYE. I got the burger both times. Huge burger patty, and you can tell they party it in house. It tastes like a burger off the grill in the summertime, very tasty! Ashley ordered the turkey wrap for lunch and the pepperoni pizza for dinner. The wrap was enormous! Very fresh turkey and vegetables with out of this world French fries. The best thing about berries is their happy hour. They have all day happy hour on Monday. $ 4 house wine, $ 2 off draft, $ 1 off bottles. They also had specials on other days but I can’t think of what they are. There are a few different atmospheres in this restaurant too. There is the bar area which is lively with flat screens everywhere, then there is a large dining room off the bar that had roughly 10 tables. Then there is an even bigger dining room that has enough space for a stage for live music. All of the servers were extremely friendly too. I highly recommend eating at Berries if you’re in the area!

Came here with the family for breakfast on a Saturday. There were 7 of us. We were sat in what I call the pit because you have to step down in it. It was a long table that was pretty much surrounded by a railing making it very uncomfortable to impossible to get up and walk around the table. Six of us opted for the chicken and waffles with bacon. I have to say it is one of the worst waffles I ever had. It was so dry it would turn into sawdust in my mouth. The chicken was two chicken fingers and not impressive. I had to send it back. I then opted for the breakfast bruschetta. Except for the burnt toast the eggs were served on it was good. The scrambled eggs were light and perfectly cooked sitting on a nice pesto sauce and topped with basil. The bacon could have been cooked a bit more for me but still good. For me the start attraction were the home fries. They were crispy on the outside, soft and creamy on the inside. Not sure I will give this place another shot.

Great place for brunch. Foods great and atmosphere is nice. IMPORTANTTIP: Do not order a panini or pizza if anyone else at the table orders breakfast. You will definitely spend breakfast watching that person eat while you sit hungry and wait.

OH yeah! It’s that time of the year again: The Company Holiday party. Since everyone enjoyed our meals at Berries In the Groove in Coconut Groove last year, our boss decided to have this year’s party here again. I really meant to come back since last year’s party. I remembered the food was great, and so was the service. When we were there last year, they were just about to start redo the entire back room. And they have done a good job because the room looked absolutely beautiful this year. Yes, open bar at the party. Since it has been raining all week, I left my house early assuming the traffic was going to slow me down. Surprisingly the traffic wasn’t that bad and I actually got there early. So, I started a cocktail with a little appetizer while I wait for my coworkers to arrive. The Old Fashion they made was decent. We also ordered a Tuna tartar appetizer. I thought the tuna was okay but they added too much soy sauce on top, thus making it a bit salty. It still tasted okay but not for the price they charged. We then sat down and looked through the dinner menu. Everything listed in the menu sounded delicious. I didn’t want to have the same thing I had last year so I decided to get the Soy-Ginger Teriyaki Glazed Grilled Salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly. I loved the teriyaki glaze in the salmon, and the side of steamed Jasmine rice added the starch element to the dish. My wife ordered the Lobster Ravioli. The ravioli tasted okay but I was not a big fan to the cream sauce. But the pasta was cooked nicely. Again, this year’s dinner did not disappoint. Most of our coworkers enjoyed their dishes. The wait staff did a wonderful job taking care all of us. Water(wine) were constantly refilled, and they took away the finished plates pretty quickly after it’s done. I wouldn’t be surprised if my boss decided to have our party here again next year!

I don’t know… I’ve been to Berries countless times, and I never leave thinking«what a great meal». The place itself is nice, and they recently just expanded by opening the wall to what used to be Las Culebrinas next door. Anyhoooo… Will I go back? Probably at some point, but not because I’m craving anything from there or because I picked it. Good things are: it has a parking lot and the service is pretty good and it has a nice ambience as well.

My friends and I went for brunch on a sunday. We went around 1:30pm, and they gave us a table no more than 5 min later. We were attended by Kenny, he was very nice and attentive. I ordered the French Toast platter. It was super yummy. It was french toast, eggs, and bacon. The coffee was also tasty and fresh. Everything was reasonably priced. The place itself is big and nicely decorated. They also have a big tree in the middle of the restaurant. All the employees that helped us were very nice and in a good mood. I will definetly be returning.

Beeries is perfect for that late day brunch 1 – 2 pm since the brunch menu closes at 3 pm on Saturdays and Sundays . I was a newbie and did not know what to expect. Chris immediately welcomed us as we were waiting for the table. I had asked to see if my friend and I could try a bloody Mary since I have never tasted the mix but I was not a fan. I appreciate the personalized service we received . Our waiter Kenny was attentive, nice, funny and sarcastic .Good thing I’m a miamian and understand his sarcasm. I ordered the Italian sausage omelette with a guilty pleasure on the side(buttermilk pancake). A+ ! Chris was nice enough to give us complimentary mimosas which won us over immediately ! Side note: Do not drink and drive I will for sure be stopping by again to try chicken and waffles !

As a dog parent, I can now upgrade Berrie’s to a five star establishment! By virtue of their new air conditioned terrace, it’s one of the restaurants where your pooch can technically eat inside. In addition, to the standard bowl of water, the kitchen at Berrie’s will cook lean chicken or burgers for the four legged furry Unilocalers. The plates are actually lean, because my yorkie has a sensitive belly and she hasn’t gotten sick eating there. The staff has always been super nice to her. As far as hoomans, their cuisine doesn’t disappoint either. My old self granted title on Unilocal was the«Dessert Snob» and in maintaining it, I’ve sampled their crème Brule(perfectly crispy crust and rich filling) and creamy sweet key lime pie. Today I’ll add their strawberries and Raspberry merlot. Served in a wine glass with a merlot reduction and stuffed with fresh whip cream, these fresh fruits are a perfect close whether you order their huge BBQ burger, Thai chicken salad with just-spicy peanut dressing or Hawaiian pizza.
