Don’t even bother coming here if you have time to kill before a show. They are too slow to make anything happen and get you to the play on time. My friend and I had 45 minutes after having dinner at Prelude before the opening night of Hair. We thought we’d stop in here, which we tried to do before Prelude but were told they don’t open until 7pm(even though the show was at 8pm). So we decided to come back later for a pre-show drink. Wrong. We waited, and waited, and waited. I got up — got myself a menu. Looked it over. And waited some more. We watched the ONE waiter/bartender running all over and busy as a bee. Nothing. People were yelling, upset. We watched in horror. After a good 20 minutes sitting there, hoping for someone to help at the bar area, we left. Fail.

Save your time and money! Bar staff is horribly slow and borderline stupid. Granted we went on a very busy night but I’ve seen better service at bars that are four deep. And then they have the nerve to include gratuity! No one should have to wait 15 minutes for a bottled beer. Get it together Bombay!

What a disappointment. Located in the Adrianne Arsht Center, you’d think they would be a bit more creative. Expensive drinks and tapas add insult to injury after getting tiny portions and loads of ice in your drink. With so many good bars out there, I would skip this place and opt for something less contrived. On the bright side, the bartenders are cheeky and friendly and fun to talk to.

We went to the Bombay Sapphire Lounge before a show at the Arsht. our experience was pretty good, with one caveat. We really liked the ability to get to the venue early, avoiding traffic, and the ability to chill out in a very comfortable and attractive lounge. This food served was actually very good — probably better than it even needed to be — and we really enjoyed the crispy salmon cakes and the ceviche. Food prices were reasonable and drink prices were a little bit high but, given the location, were expected. And the service was really good. My only gripe is that I ordered a Bombay Sapphire Martini there and it was only average — standard sized pour, restaurant quality glass, glass not chilled, etc. I expected that the Bombay Sapphire Lounge would serve the most drop dead magnificent Bombay Sapphire Martini in Miami. So, that was a bit of a disappointment, however the place still is a great stop in advance of a visit to the Arsht.

I came for a drink at this spot when my husband and I had tickets for the ballet. It is located inside of the Adrienne Arsch Center, and although it is an oddly shaped bar with an indoor and an outdoor area, I was pleased with the drinks and environment. One must note how pricey each drink was($ 20 for a specialty gin drink) — wowza! But the bartender was great and made an excellent drink that had raspberry infusion in the gin. MMMMMM Goood! A fun stop for a quick drink, but don’t plan to get too tipsy unless you’re ready to drop a pretty penny. They serve food here too, which I didn’t have time to try.
