This place is great, best spinach croquettas and Bc it’s 24 hours you always see the oddest tinder dates. Love it.

Extremely disappointing, I ordered a croqueta preparada on media noche bread, got home to realize all the young lady gave me was bread with croqueta, no mayo, no cheese, no mustard, no pickles, plain bread with 4 croquetas. I explained myself very well, she even asked me if I wanted everything that it brings and I said yes. I’m not a picky customer, always tip and very patient, and to get this is totally unacceptable. I don’t understand why employ young ladies that don’t know what ingredients or ways to prepare menu items, if they don’t know then give them the proper training.

Love this bakery. The pastries are delicious, fresh, and unforgettable. Guava, Coconut, Cream Cheese, Meat Pastries!!! I would have given 5 stars if they would have Cuban bread throughout the day. They run out and no more until the next day. What a bummer.

Cannot pass by US1 without having this craving for Cuban pastelitos. They are amazing. This place in Pinecrest is definitely a five stars

First time here. Wow this place was crazy busy. They have a lot of choices for breakfast and coffee. I was there to buy pastries, the service was a long wait, not worth it. The quality was good, but the pastries at Publix are just as good. Honestly wouldn’t waste my time here.

Best sandwiches for cheap prices! Never disappoints! Pastelitos are made fresh every hour it seems, and never taste reheated.

Painfully slow service. Food is good it’s just so slow it makes you not want to go in.

Good place for a quick Cuban type pastry and café con leche. The staff is very low but otherwise place is clean and I go there often. A lot of other places are dirty but this place looks very clean all the time.

I have to say that Pinecrest Bakery has always been great all around. However, the last three times I’ve gone there, they can’t make an Elena Ruz sandwich. They are either out of turkey, jelly, or cream cheese. Clearly someone is not ordering product correctly. Very upsetting to drive 15 minutes just to find out a legendary place is out of your favorite food… Not once, or twice, but three separate times. Come on guys!!! Get it together!!!

Love this place– food is always fresh and delicious. But man are they fuc*ing SLOW!!! Only reason I gave them 3 stars otherwise they would’ve earned all 5 :)

I work in a nursing and rehab center and i had an early thanksgiving lunch for my residents & their families. I have to say this place is amazing! We ordered 3 turkeys which were delicious. The cake was fresh and very good as well as the pastries. The staff was helpful as well. great customer service!!! I totally recommend it! Will definately be back :)

It was okay. I’ve had much better croquettes. The media noche sandwich was meh… Ham and cheese had no flavor. Could be better. If I were the owner I would perfect that croquette recipe and tweak the other recipes before the expand too much and end up like don pan did and have to close because of quality. Guava pastelito is much better at Ricky’s bakery in Miami.

If you’ve been intrigued by Cuban bakeries but have never worked up the courage to actually venture into one by yourself(going with Cuban friends doesn’t count), then this is the place for you. Cuban bakery pros beware; this is Pinecrest after all… You may get a weird look if you prance in singing your favorite bolero(although you will likely get support from the staff). The breakfast here is great and I think enough has been said about all the other nick-nacks. Oh, the deadly squeezes OJ is top notch too. All of this happening 24⁄7!

Why does this place exist when there are so many great bakeries out there that are SO much more deserving?

Great pastellitos! Always fresh and perfectly done. Best bakery around the area and good prices. Cakes and individual sweets are always available and are great. They have party platters available and have opened several locations.

I’ve never left from a restaurant/bakery more livid in my life. First of all I walk in and there’s barely any customers there, so one would think the service would be fast. Wrong. After I ordered my sandwich, the lady didn’t actually start making it until she finished cleaning. Which is ridiculous to me. After I finally got my sandwich, I clearly asked for no tomatoes and she still put tomatoes in it. I couldn’t do anything about it because I had taken my order to go. My advice, if you want this bakery to be successful, you guy need to stop worrying so much about keeping the place imbecably clean, and actually do your job. Which is not hard to begin with. Treat your customers well and give good service. If you’re miserable working there then find another job.

Typical Cuban bakery in Pinecrest. Prices are good, however, the tostada was soaked in butter and the orange juice had MULTIPLE flies in it. Do not order the OJ! The lunch is much better, stick to the sandwiches. Sometimes the pastries are left out too long. Overall, not too bad of a place to get some cheap Cuban food.

The reviews for this place are hilarious. A Cuban bakery — INMIAMI — with Spanish speaking staff? NOWAY! A Cuban place that doesn’t bend over backwards and makes you actually grow a pair and talk to the staff? It’s like you’ve never interacted with Cubans before. Let me get this straight, you went to a Cuban bakery, didn’t order Cuban coffee, and then complained that the Americano was crap, when Americano is crap to begin with? How do you people survive in the 305? I had just eaten NYE dinner with my folks and they were craving a nice dessert. They decided to take me to Pinecrest Bakery off 120 and US-1. I’m very familiar with the shopping center — have gotten suits from Heritage House, my German fix from Mainzer’s, my Middle Eastern fix from Daily Bread and Dr. Gary Gegerson remains the best optometrist I’ve ever had. And now there is a 24 hour Cuban bakery. Why did I learn about this the day before I left Miami? Anyways we walk in at 9 before a holiday and there is a small crowd, including some police officers. The staff was unsurprisingly talking mostly to themselves and occasionally helping the customers. It’s a Cuban place, this isn’t strange. While the menu behind the counter was impressive, we were there for pastries and those in the display cases were all delicious looking. Pastellitos, a variety of cakes, cookies and other sweets. Sadly most didn’t have a sign. When we ordered I asked what one of the cakes was and the woman couldn’t translate it into English so I said screw it, it looks delicious. It was. I got a moist cake with coconut and a coconut sugar glaze. It was really good, however it was easily the least impressive of the three. My mom got this slice of cake where the bottom was chocolate cake and the top was cheesecake. It was kind of like the evolution of an oreo. But my father got the Cuatro Leches. Now Tres Leches is delicious, but this is even better, topped with caramel. I think all three of us showed a lot of restraint not fighting each other over that cup of delicious. I don’t know how the place is during lunch or dinner, but for 24 hour desserts, I love the concept and can’t complain about the flavor.

Three employees working, the one in charge of preparing the food didn’t feel like working. The only one that was actually doing work was just cleaning up the place instead of taking orders or at least preparing the food. The employees allowed people to skip the line. Delivered food to a large group that came after us. We ordered our food at 2:00am and received our sandwiches at 2:45 after I had to complain multiple times. In the middle of the night when its not even at its busiest. The only reason I’m rating it two stars is because at least the food was good. Now I can clearly understand why there are so many bad reviews. Management needs to hire people that actually want to work.
