This is a great place for a quick bite that is tasty and reasonably priced. The food tastes fresh every time. Lunch special platters are a great deal because they have a little bit of everything and are filling. Steak, chicken, or falafel… you can’t go wrong. If you’re a Doral area worker, then you know how busy lunch time is… this place is quick! The atmosphere is laid back with TVs that play international sports. You can also have a beer… because who doesn’t need a pick me up mid-workday? Definitely a place to repeat — you won’t get tired.

Great option for a quick and relatively healthy meal. I ordered chicken with a scoop of hummus and it was delicious. The portions were also bigger than expected for side orders.

Shame on you for reheating falafel! I know reheated food when I taste, and this falafel saw fresh several hours before I got there. The lunch specials looked enticing and affordable, but non platter was completely void of animal products. Fortunately, the manager(or owner) tried his best to accommodate my dietary eccentricities my adding a free small scoop of hummus to stale falafal, rice and salad dish. I’m willing to give this place another shot during lunch, but I’m sure as hell staying away from the falafel. I think I’m spoiled by Cleopatra Mediterranean Grill’s falafel which are made at the time of order. It’s kind of hard to top that. Either way, this place is all right especially for lunch and especially for people without dietary restrictions.

Everything is delicious. The chicken kebabs are delicious; the rice is delicious; and the hummus & pita bread are delicious. Fountain sodas? Yep. Quick to serve? Yep. The staff members I’ve encountered are rather ambivalent about their jobs. No politeness, totally lifeless, and not the least bit friendly. But, considering I’m going there for lunch and not for conversation, it’s a negligible(and all too common) issue.

First time visiting this establishment and it won’t be the last. Every thing tasted fresh and cooked to order. I had the combo#1 great taste, good portion and the yellow sauce I got was really good, next time I’ll ask what it’s called. I was really happy when I saw that they have pictures with the names, prices of the meals and combs. It made it really easy for me to place my order. The place is kept clean, too. But I went around 2pm, not during lunch hours. They do deliver. Going to try a pita sandwich next time.

I ordered the falafel rice for lunch today. I was genuinely satisfied. The falafel were freshly made and were tasty as well. The basmati rice that they are known for was tasty as well. It was a positive experience so I will visit again to try other items.

Came here for lunch with a couple co-workers, I would say it was 15% at capacity, ordered a Joojeh Wrap and sat down. The wait time was long, the food was underwhelming, and the staff was mediocre at best. I’d give it a try again, but its a fast food joint thats over priced.

I love then Joojeh platter. I recommend calling in your order ahead of time if you’re in a hurry. Freshly made food that’s healthy. The place is always clean so that’s a plus. I’ve been going here for many years and absolutely love it.

Go to this restaurant for lunch during the work week. Food is consistently good. Staff is friendly. During lunch, the food takes quite a long time to come out. I’ve seen this happen many times. That’s what stops it from being a 5.

Wow! I have to be honest, I’m pleasantly surprised by this place. I visited a Rice House in Kendall before and ordered falafels, but I was extremely disappointed with the freshness and taste, and haven’t gone back since. However, I was in the mood for Mediterranean today and saw there were a couple of good reviews at this Rice House, so I decided to give it a try. Getting there from 58th street was a little bit of a mission with lunch hour traffic and the construction in the area, but well worth it. The parking situation in that plaza is also just a little confusing. In front of the phone store it said customer only on the spots, and I wasn’t sure if it meant phone store customers only or general customers of the plaza. I decided to sidestep any problems and I parked in front of the Rice House.(I think I made the right decision because those spots didn’t have anything written on them.) I ordered via their website at 11:45, and when I got there at 12 my food was ready to go. There weren’t too many people when I got there, but there were people walking in and ample seating. The inside was very pleasing to the eye, very comfortable/casual atmosphere, the menu was a collage of giant pictures with the names of the plates and prices written next to them. There are three cash registers, but no physical indication of where you should stand. I stood behind a guy that was waiting before me to be helped and just waited for one of the cashiers to call me. I was a little upset because I had read they served halal food, but when I confirmed with the cashier, she told me that they only serve halal chicken. I had ordered the chenjeh(tenderloin) lunch special and a piece of sugar free nammoura. The cashier was very nice during the whole transaction and asked if I wanted any extra sauce, which I appreciated. The food was tasty and came in a very fair serving. My platter came with hummus peppered with a reddish spice(DELICIOUS), a triangle of pita, rice, salad, tenderloin chunks, salad dressing and yellow sauce. I wish they would have included more pita, but besides that, the food was great. The salad was fresh. The meat was tender and had just the right amount of browning for extra flavor. As for the nammoura, I was hesitant at first. I generally avoid anything labeled sugar free because I don’t like consuming fake sugar, I’m not a fan of the chemicals, but I decided to purchase it because I was in the mood for nammoura today. I’m glad I did because it was just as good as regular nammoura. I’d definitely come again.

This place is a disgrace to mediterranean cuisine not only they have the worst falafel ever but they make tahini with mayonnaise lol Even their fish was high and dry in the land where fish comes the freshest. This is one of the restaurants that I sometimes ones feels to be betrayed by Unilocal

Omg, this was so good. I can’t believe it’s my first time here! I ordered the Fish Rice. Which is a huge portion of Basmati Rice, pan seared Tilapia, Charred tomato and onion. Fantastic! Super fresh! The portion is easily shareable.

Hello I have been hearing great things about this Restaurant Chain, such as the food, the service and the online ordering. I have never tried the restaurant but as a recommendation from my wife, I decided to give it a shot. I was very happy to see that they sell healthy alternatives at a great price. I went online and used the ordering system, again, all great. I ordered my food and paid without a glitch. I was surprised ten minutes later by a call from the Doral restaurant, an employee was calling me to tell me that the delivery price was $ 10 instead of the $ 2 advertised, charged and used on the website. I told her that this was wrong and that I entered my address and the system had given me the $ 2 delivery charge. She said that there was a «glitch» in the system and that the charge was $ 10. I asked for a manager. The manager comes to the phone and he heard the story. He apologized for the problem and as a good manager he offered to honor the $ 2 delivery price from the website. He was calm, understanding and very professional. He said that although he was honoring the $ 2 delivery charge today, that I should be aware that the next time the charge would be $ 10, even if the website says it is $ 2. I advised him that this is highly dubious and possibly illegal, as they are advertising and charging one price and then switching it(bait and switch). He said that he does not have access to the programming of the site. This is why I am writing here. DEAROWNERSOFRICEHOUSEOFKABOB; Please fix the glitch on your website immediately, you are misleading or at least confusing your costumers and possibly breaking the law by changing the prices after your costumers receive a confirmation of the amount to be charged. All the hard work and training you pour into your employees which is very professional, all the marketing, all the effort put to cook good food, all the money spent on your website’s amazing ordering system is wasted because One Little Glitch. COSTUMERS — Caveat emptor!: Do yourself a favor and call the restaurant BEFORE you order and verify the delivery charge, you could be sold on the $ 2 charge and then asked to pay $ 10.

I love this place. One of my favorite quick lunch spots. I always get the chicken lunch special that comes with salad, rice, grilled chicken kebab and a pita triangle and scoop of hummus. Everything is super tasty. Especially the hummus, It tastes fresh and homemade. The steak kebab is usually over cooked like another Unilocaler said. Which is why I stick to chicken. Oh and their baklava is awesome. I always get a piece to go.

Pretty good food. This is a great place for a quick lunch. They have free wifi, which is why we stopped. Lunch during business — a common theme in my life. I had falafel and humus. Tasty. I am not giving 4 stars because of the setting, and food was only above average in my humble opinion.

Rice House of Kabob in Doral is ok. In my opinion, it is the best place in that immediate area to have a relatively healthy meal. I often have the greek salad from there. It is a little over $ 7, which I think is a bit pricey for a salad. There have been a few times where it was difficult to order over the phone during lunch time.

I recently got my boyfriend hooked on Rice. We’re obsessed. It’s always so fresh and tasty. My favorite part is the actual rice. It’s Basmati rice which is a long grain rice typically from India I believe. Everything else is just an added bonus. I literally think I can eat the rice by itself as a meal and I would be happy. Hell, if they only sold rice I would still come. It’s that’s good. Ok, fine. It’s the best rice ever! I usually order it with chicken and a salad. Although I over-indulge myself in the rice, the grilled chunks of chicken and the salad are delicious as well and should also receive the same credit. I’ve also had the fish filet which has an incredible flavor. I don’t even want to ask what kind of fish it is(don’t want to be disappointed when they tell me it’s Tilapia). Ordering online is a simple breeze and really the best way to go. Whether you want to eat in or take out(they also deliver). Give Rice a try! I promise you’ll love it.
