One of our regular sushi spots. Consistent quality and the staff always takes great care of us!

Para nada me gusto. Los dependientes despistados, y a la comida le falta calidad. Precios iguales se encuentran en restaurantes mejores como PF Chang

Ok so the food here is good. I’ve been here over 10 times and I love the sushi options among other things. However the last time I came I was disappointed. I went with my boyfriend 1 hour and a half before they closed and the server was so rude he even said ”are you guys aware of the time” before ordering. The sushi was cold and so dry it barely had any sauce and I had ordered their most expensive sushi. Before I finished swallowing the last piece the server rushed and took our plates away. Horrible experience I will probably never go again.

I’ve been here several times before and I’ve never had an amazing experience nor a great one. On this visit I stopped in for a quick lunch and while my service was great, the food was bland. I ordered a university roll(salmon + avocado) and was extremely disappointed in the rice to salmon/avocado ratio. So much rice and barely any salmon. I didn’t bother telling the server because I was in a hurry, but it was ridiculous. So much rice!!! At least my seaweed salad was yummy. Overall, my visit this time might have been a miss, but I’m hoping it doesn’t continue when I come back again.

I’ve been to this place a couple of times and I have to say this place is great! The food is to my liking and it tastes yummy! The staffs are friendly and attentive. My favorites are the Coral Reef roll, the Fifty roll and their Salmon Mandarina. Their Spicy Tuna Salad is delicious too! Their sashimi are always fresh. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it.

Their fish is always fresh! The have Cobia on the menu… Amazing flavor and texture. Best sushi in town, hands down! And the staff members are super friendly and accommodating.

This place sucks and is over priced. The sushi is smaaaall you can go across the street to Fuji Hana and get double the bang for your buck. Seriously, don’t go here, for sushi of this quality you might as well go to publix and save 5 bucks. The ramen also left a lot to be desired from. It tasted like boxed ramen.

I wish I could give less than one star. This dining experience was so terrible. The waiter was SO rude. He had a very nasty attitude from the beginning for no reason. He’d leave in the middle of me asking for something, never cleared any of the plates until I handed them to him because there was no room to place the dessert. Which, by the way, was nothing like at the other sushi maki’s. It was just so awful. Everything about this location. It needs to close. Go to the one on US1.

I’ve been here a handful of times over the last couple of years. It’s close to home, never a long wait for dinner, and the sushi is decent. The problem is, it’s just OK. There’s nothing great about Sushi Maki. It’s good, but very safe and generic. There’s nothing extra special about it, but nothing bad about it either. The very definition of OK. Plenty of parking in the lot. It’s located right next to the Pollo Tropical in the Ale House shopping center.

Just ordered from them. As I was eating a spring roll I pull a long black hair out of my mouth. *See pictures. The time before today they got my order wrong, had to wait for re-delivery. Never again.

My go to place because of the easy to get to location. Food is a little pricy for the quality. Friendly staff though, and they have pick up for when I’m in a rush. Very convenient.

Love this place. I even love the bubble teas. Great place to eat and drink teas. The service is fast and great. The food taste great. This is not a big place but it’s comfortable. They have tv’s I the wall.

The only reason why I’m even giving this place a 2 star is because the Dragon roll is actually decent. Spicy tuna roll was okay. Had a lime taste to it, which was a lil weird in my opinion. The ramen on the other hand, is terrible. I’ve had ramen in multiple places in NYC, and this is NOT ramen. I ordered the«pork belly ramen» and I received wonton noodle soup with char siu(roast pork) instead. And it wasn’t even good. I’m getting angrier and angrier as I’m eating this. So if you’re craving ramen, please for the love of God go somewhere else. The sushi wasn’t too bad.

Spicy tuna salad is so good! Staff is so nice, love the atmosphere. The new summer menu is delicious, try the Japanese street corn. It’s very different from other places, not the same old boring sushi restaraunt.

I have mixed feelings about here. I absolutely LOVE their tuna tacos. LOVE. I come here just for that. The Coral reef roll has been another go-to or a classic JB roll simply because everything else I’ve tried has been pretty mediocre and pricey. They have a small selection of sushi to be honest and everything is an upcharge! And I mean Everything. Their gyoza is alright and the shumai as well. But I found their tuna tataki to be a bit overpriced for the amount and the desserts are whatever. Again mixed feelings here. I’ll go every once in a while if my go-to sushi place(Fuji hana or fujiya) is closed. But I really don’t justify $ 20-$ 25 with tip for a roll, gyoza and 2 tuna tacos. It’s kind of ridiculous to be honest. I know it’s a chain so the location can’t help the price but still. One other comment, i”ve read a few reviews talking about grey salmon… THANKYOU. Finally someone understands! I ordered a JB tempura roll one day and it was really really fishy and half of every piece was grey. I was told by the manager that salmon comes like that sometimes and it also depends on the cut of the fish… excuse me??? You’re basically saying sometimes you don’t get FRESH fish? Because I’ve worked at TWO sushi restaurants before(Fuji Hana and Aoki Teppanyaki) and never have I seen fishy grey salmon in either place! I mean, really, pitiful excuse. She comped it after much attitude when approaching me but seemed to think she had perfectly good reasoning as to why my salmon was ridiculously fishy and grey. EH, they could use a better manager. The staff isn’t bad, there is one girl who I always forget her name, but she it very very skinny, Asian looking and speaks very softly. SHESAMAZING. So sweet and so nice! And from the amount of times I’ve been there she remembers some things I like and offers them before I even ask. SOSO Sweet! I’ve only had one other server, a guy who is also very attentive. Very quiet but nice.

Went for lunch. Had the tuna tetakki, dragon roll, crispy tuna rice and another tuna roll(forgot the name). The sushi was delicious, fresh tuna, very happy. Will be back. Went back a second time and unfortunately the tuna was not so fresh.

I came here after a recommendation by my girlfriend and I was disappointed. We were served by Alexa, who disappeared after we received our drinks and didn’t even bother to inform us, or her coworkers, that she would be leaving. Our food came out after a half hour of waiting and my sliders and fries were cold, the meat severely undercooked(Alexa didn’t ask me how I wanted it cooked). Needless to say, I will not be coming back.

I placed an order online figuring it would be ready by the time I got through traffic. How convenient, right? Yeah. My order was submitted at 7:11pm and the confirmation e-mail said everything would be ready by 7:40pm. I arrived on the dot. and it wasn’t ready. No problem, maybe it’ll be another 5 minutes. Just wait. It’s is now 8:10pm and I’m STILL waiting for an order of chicken teriyaki and Thai curry that should be ready in «about 10 more minutes» 15 minutes ago. Had I known it was going to take this long, I would have just made my own dinner or and saved myself the aggravation. I’ll update what time I actually get my food. UPDATE: I got my order at 8:28pm without a single«We’re sorry for the long wait» or «Can we comp you a dessert?» — NOTHING. Never. Again.

Ew Ordered food for pick since I lived across the street and the staff was very kind . I had the JB tempura roll with avocado added. The roll had me so disappointed… The only thing that had flavor was the cream cheese in it. The tempura batter around it was soggy moist and was falling off the sushi. As for the salmon, it was grey and bland it didn’t taste fresh at all. I guess it’s because I’ve had better sushi but for me this is something to avoid. Lack of quality, freshness and flavor. I rather eat at bonsai but it was to far. Other than the food the staff was helpful. Only reason why I’m giving two stars was the food.

I’ve come here for lunch a couple of times and the food and sushi is always tasty. I ordered the lunch bento box last time and it was great! It includes a soup or salad(I like their salad with ginger dressing), edamame, a few pieces of California roll, 2 dumplings, quinoa fried rice and the red curry with chicken. They are small portions of each but it fills you up… I couldn’t finish it all! They have other choices for the main dish. The service is always great here. I’m always seated right away and the food does not take long; making it great for lunch.
