I wasn’t really thrilled with this choice. The food was mediocre and the service was just OK. We couldn’t dance on the tables because there was a football game going on.

The service was excellent. The opus salad had some really great seafood, saganaki excellent very happening place in south Miami with a belly dancer to boot…

Prompt service at the bar with thoughtful signature drinks. Every day happy hour 3−8pm! The balcony is nice thanks to the occasional breeze and Ferrari. I wish they didn’t have chewing gum under the bar counter.

We love to come here to watch sports, have some drinks and food. We have a good relation with Maria and the other bartenders, they’re very nice and friendly. Also the Adm is a really nice person. My boyfriend comes here all the time. Also on saturdays we have fun dancing and fooling around We love it.

Had a wonderful time at this centrally located Greek tavern in Mary Brickell village. Food was delicious, service was personal, and the manager even came over to make sure we were being well served. Topping everything off was a beautiful and skilled belly dancer, and a DJ playing a great assortment of music that had everyone dancing around their tables. Definitely looking forward to repeat visits on Saturday nights.

I had the worst experience ever here!!! Male and female bartender both heads in the air. Took the female bartender 7 minutes to take my order(simple modelo beer). Next 10 minutes not one look at my side(I am at head of the bar!!! Manager is in Lala land!!! In the end a waiter saw my ordeal and told the girl and when she saw my face sent the male bartender!!! No service and no brains!!! Don’t recommend at all!!!

Very salty food! And now with somewhat questionable, semi-competent service, too. It might also help if you proactively explain to your waiter that appetizers are served prior to your main course. Portions are extremely large, though, and prices are moderate.

Amazing service, fun environment and the food tastes delicious! I definitely recommend the lamb chops, and kabobs! Everything we ordered had so much flavor. The waiter was always attentive and constantly providing amazing service. At night, they play music, have a dj, lights and people dance. Great place to eat and have fun!

I’m giving this place a courtesy 4 star review because I feel that this restaurant will be closed soon. I’ve been here twice over the past two months and both occasions the restaurant has been nearly empty. It’s a shame too because the food is consistently pretty good. Being armed with an expiring groupon my wife, my dad and I decided to go for lunch this past weekend. We arrived around 1:30PM and the restaurant was a ghost town. Shortly after seating we were greeted by our waiter who was very kind and friendly. Unfortunately, for lunch you don’t get the complimentary hummus and pita(which is probably one of their star menu items). I ordered the free range chicken which is served with lemon roasted potatoes and a side greek salad. The portion was identical to the dinner portion but comes at a much cheaper price at only $ 12! The chicken is flavored well and always tender. The potatoes although I would prefer them crispy come served in 3 – 4 big wedges topped with lemon and pepper seasoning. The side salad is also a nice addition. My wife ordered the chicken pita which was served with french fries and also came with a side salad. While the chicken pita was very good, it was drenched in tzatziki sauce. My father ordered Dolmades and the Spanakopita. The dolmades were served warm(at the waiter’s recommendation) and were quite delicious. The spanakopita was also very good as I could only describe it as a croissant like texture stuffed with spinach and feta cheese. There aren’t many good greek options in Brickell so I’m not sure why Opa struggles to fill tables. I will be sad if this place closes as the food although never mind-blowing, is always consistently good. If you come at night you will see the traditional greek belly dancers and lots of lots of napkins being thrown. OPA!!!

Came out to use my groupon. They have a bunch of reasonable options. I tried the octopus and they do a wonderful job on it. It was tender and succulent. I also had the lemon potatoes, rice pilaf, shrimp skewer and to make up for my octopus(appetizer) being delayed the waitress gave us some humus and pita. The humus was freshly made and delicious.

So, was here for happy hour and checked in on Unilocal which said that I would get a free sangria with check-in. We showed our check in to the waitress, who proceeded to bring my 3 friends and I sangrias. Within 5 minutes they then came to us and said that our drinks were going to be charged to our bill because we would have to order and entrée. They had already brought our drinks and then proceeded to change their mind. Without apology for the confusion or anything. We all then asked them to take the drinks back. Got our checks and decided we would never come here again and I don’t recommend anyone come here for happy hour. Ever.

I mean, it’s Opa. If you are a 20-something and don’t have the means to find a better place, then you are with your peers here. Whenever I walk in Opa after 11pm, the ground is somehow covered in napkins. Always. Inexplicably so. Every surface you touch is sticky, and young people are at their messiest of hot messes here. I did visit for brunch on a Sunday once, which redeemed itself because unlimited mimosas or(super strong) bloody mary’s and buffet for $ 24 is pretty nice. But the food is lukewarm, kept that way by lamps(which also served as the only lighting inside, so we opted to sit on the patio). There is better out there, Miamians. But if your’e new to town, it’s worth it to hit up Opa once(and once is enough).

So this place would be good, but they refused to redeem the advertised check in reward. I showed the waitress my phone screen which said«free sangria with entrée» and asked«can I have this?» They brought me the advertised free sangria… and then tried to charge me for it. Poor form. Steer clear unless you enjoy false advertisements.

We came here for brunch today because they seemed to have a great deal. Brunch buffet and unlimited mimosas for 24 bucks, can’t beat that. The food options varies from Mediterranean food to breakfast food. My favorite thing at the buffet was the little croissants, they are amazing! The servers weren’t very attentive and I had to ask them for my water refills. Also, when we were done we couldn’t find the server, he was literally missing for 15−20mins. The gratuity is automatically added onto the tab so I’m guessing that’s why the service kind of sucked. Overall it was just ok.

Awful! If I had to explain it in one word! It’s early and this place is close to a lounge that is louder and busier but has pretty good traffic, mainly from people getting a drink before the line next door! Staff are pretty unfriendly and inattentive! Music is however the best thing about this place! Bathroom attendant was sleeping so hey his loss! Pricey and not at all worth it! I gave it 2 stars purely for the people watching! Other than that I’d only give 1 star!!! One last thing, all but one staff member left behind the bar while the others danced on the bar left me even more thirsty and NOT in a good way!

God, This place was awful. The service was a joke — I had to get up out of my chair and approach socializing staffers to refill our water, then again to get the check. And they tack on 18% tip for a party of 2. Guess there’s no motivation to please the customer when you get your tip whether you earn it or not. The menu looked great and I had high hopes but the food was terrible. There were buzzing flies interupting our meal — while seated inside! — which only made the experience that much more unfortunate. If they tried, even a little, I would be more forgiving but I would deter anyone from considering this place for a meal. Sorry. It was bad.

I came here with a small group on Friday at 7:30p for happy hour. The restaurant was about 25% full. It’s a good deal for appetizers and drinks. We ordered the hummus, chicken wings, ribs, calamari, spanakopita, and Greek tacos. The calamari was my favorite and it was fun that they make the hummus at your table. But honestly, most of the food was a bit bland. My cocktail was way too sweet, and my friend complained his drink tasted like cough syrup. My other friend had the sangria and he enjoyed it. The worse part was that we felt rushed out after about an hour of sitting at our table. In the span of five minutes, we had 3 or 4 different staff members come and try to clear off our table, even though there was still food on our plates. This was a shame since our server was really nice at the beginning of our meal. After feeling like we were being kicked out, we paid our bill and left. We might have stayed for a few more drinks, but we didn’t feel welcome there anymore.

My wife and I had a quick lunch here today. Since it was late in the afternoon the place was pretty much empty so we grabbed a seat on the patio which overlooks Mary Brickell. I wasn’t very hungry so I ordered the Opa salad which is basically a seafood salad. When it arrived at the table it was pleasantly presented and although is was a salad the seafood, especially the shrimp, was nice and hot. The salad was way too big to eat so it could easily be shared. There was a bit too much dressing for my taste so I advise ordering it on the side. My wife had the chicken Kabob which was huge and tasty and she ate as much as possible. I didn’t taste it so I can only report she liked it. Overall the food is pretty good and the portions are very big. The bill was about what you would expect but be careful the tip was automatically added to the bill but a second line for a tip was also on the bill which my wife caught right away. I’m not sure why restaurants do this but whatever it is what it is. We’ll eat there again.

Satisfactory food, and great price for a quick lunch. I had the gyro, which came with thin, crisp fries and a side salad. Gyro was good(though too much tzatziki sauce for my taste), as were the fries. I didn’t particularly care for the salad dressing. It tasted like some variation on Italian dressing, not my thing. And very puzzling for a Greek place to not serve Greek dressing on the salad. This is a lot of food, which made me even happier about the value. Service was efficient. All-in-all, a good choice for a weekday lunch in Brickell.

I met a friend here for some food and drink on a recent Thursday night. We arrived at around 7 and the place wasn’t very busy. They let us know that they had a happy hour with a special menu being offered until 8. The service was good, the food I tried was really good, and when we were about ½ way through our meals, a belly dancer got on the bar and performed a few numbers, tossing a few handfuls napkins into the air as well. I ordered a beer and the baby back ribs and tzaziki small plates from their happy hour menu, and my dining companion had a mixed drink and 2 small plates. Total came to $ 37.17 with tax and included 18% gratuity. Overall we were happy with everything, but one of his plates was brought out several minutes later than everything else we’d ordered, and only after he reminded them twice. Also, when we were ready to pay and leave, we had to request our server, as it kind of felt as if we’d been forgotten about at that point. Based on this experience, I’d probably give them 3 ½ stars.
