Starbucks

This is the best Starbucks, anywhere. I travel alot and frequent Starbucks all over. The service and friendliness of the day shift staff and night shift staff are fantastic. Never mess my order, and a smile EVERY time.

Everything in there is really good. Love there Marshmallow Squares and Frappé. Every time I walk into the building I would smell coffee and baked goods and it be fantastic.

Great staff! I love coming to this location when I’m near by! I’ve ALWAYS had GREAT service! I REALLY love the fact that you have protein available too! I’m an athlete so I need lots of protein and this is a perfect meal replacement for me when I’m on the go Thank you again and FANTASTIC job as always!!! I don’t typically review chain restaurants/​stores (unless it was a particularly bad experience) but I feel the need to for this particular Starbucks. I travel between Chicago and Kalamazoo about once a quarter and I always make sure to stop at this location. The service is always far superior compared to my usual locations in Chicago. The one thing I really like is when I have my dog in the car they make sure to always give her a cup of whip cream (puppy latte) and sometimes the barista will even hold it for her. This is a little thing but it definitely makes them stand out as I don’t see this at any other location.

Great and clean Starbucks with ample parking and a convenient drive through on the way to the highway to Chicago…

Americano is awful weak — they say every time «they just recallibrated the machine» (it’s weak every time). Maybe the folks working on the machine have it all wonky. I often wish I’d just gone home for a cup. Too bad about all the foo-​foo drinks, eats and fixings. Like a coffee shop turned deli.

I wish I could assign zero stars. Most (not all) of the employees at this location are loud and rude. I have been ignored at the register, had my order «corrected» at the drive-​thru, and dismissed at the window. Really? This is Starbucks, and I don’t expect to be insulted. During the summer, one of the baristas would always say «hope your day gets better». Probably would have been fine without the visit to this location.
Heard a rumor that a new Starbucks is planned for Chesterton… great!

Great service! Also great coffee. This location is always clean and has a good environment inside.

Waited in line for 20 minutes and when we got to the menu to make our order nobody answered or welcomed us. I assumed since we have a lifted truck the sensor didn’t pick up our vehicle. We continued to wait in line not thinking it would be a big deal for the cashier to add in our one coffee order. We got to the window and was told that we needed to park or go back thru the long line to make our order and that he couldn’t do anything about it. We did not park we left. Being a loyal everyday starbucks customer I was not happy with their customer service. We reside in Arizona and have never had a problem. This smaller town Michigan City, Indiana only location obviously needs some assistance with customer service.

Hopped off the highway on the way back to the Chi burbs from New Buffalo, MI. Service was friendly and courteous. The venti iced coffee w/​an extra shot was smooth, and probably one of the best I’ve had at any Starbucks. The man at the drive thru probably needs to do several shots of espresso, he was the dullest and sleepiest Sbux employee ever. Didn’t even tell me the total for the drinks purchased.
I’ll be back, should I ever be out this way since the coffee was delish!

Coffee is good though I wish they had more types of regular coffee. Staff is friendly.

I don’t think they have ever gotten my drink right. Today I requested extra hot and no whip. I get extra whip and not hot.

Starbucks Michigan City is one of the best. The staff are great. Always friendly, efficient and helpful if needed. They have amazing memories considering how busy this store can get and regularly call out, «morning Robert», when I walk in. This is the best coffee shop in the area, ‘Starbuckease’ not required.

They are always nice here and i have only once expericed a drink mishaps.

The baristas are always so friendly and quick to get my order to me. Love my usual turkey bacon breakfast sandwich and a grande bold. I’ve been to many Sbux and this one is by far my fav.

Starbucks came to MC after a long drought. Much needed. Stop here if your’e passing through the area — there isn’t another Starbucks for about 25 miles. Easy access from I-​94 with plenty of parking and a drive-​thru! Interior has room for studying/​reading the paper, but it isn’t somewhere I would hunker down in for too long. Staff is always Starbucks-​friendly and continues to provide great service.

Great Service and staff! I came in to use the bathroom with infant carrier in hand. Went to order and decided to use drive through for convenience. he girl inside got my order ready while I was pulling into the drive-thru.less of a wait… breakfast sandwich and coffee!

Pretty location but it was sucky service on the day that I went in. It was obvious that these guys were just putting in time for a paycheck, and not the usual, over-the-top-coffee-loving-barista’s that I’ve come to expect from Starbucks.
Probably the only Starbucks I’ve ever been to that had an all male staff. Weird.

Thank goodness for this location. It was like a beacon of light when I came upon it. Drive-​thru and outside seating in Michigan city? No way. A stand alone location which happens to be next door to an awesome staple of the area Schoop’s Hamburgers. It wasn’t too hard to decide between the two, although it was a hard decision… my treasured Chai tea latte or a hand made burger at Schoop’s. With a drive ahead of me, the Chai one. I just like to also point out the difference in tax, a grande chai for $ 3.91! Yes, it’s only a difference of about fifteen cents, but it’s fifteen cents! Unlike the Starbuck’s I’m used to there’s a midwestern charm of the employees.

I usually don’t review Starbucks at all. If you have been in one, you pretty much have been in them all as far as product is concerned. I enjoy Starbucks coffee so the service is what makes the difference. It will make or break them in my opinion. There are MANY Starbucks that I refuse to set foot in again because of the crap ass service and uppity attitudes that I have received. The folks that work here are some of the best and wish I could have them transferred to a Starbucks closer to me.
The place was remarkably clean and tidy. I noticed this immediately as I walked into the place. I had two 5 – 10 minute conversations with people working there and they were both very sincere and friendly and made me feel like I was in their home. Overall, it was the kind of atmosphere that I like in a coffeehouse. Since I don’t really expect this kind of treatment, I was pleasantly surprised.
