Very good. Everything was fresh and freshly cooked. Wait time wasn’t too long. Burger was very tasty. Fries were frozen crinkle-cut, but they were cooked as they should be. Banana pudding was pretty good. I recommend it for a good juicy burger.

I went a few days ago. Cool weather. No flies. But a very hungry dog making the rounds of the parking lot. I thought the burger was good. Bun was toasted and I like that. Lettuce, onions, and mustard. This might be where Whataburger got its recipe.

THIS is where you get a burger in Midland. Cut all the fancy and go for taste! This is where it is! I always call in my order as I’m on my way and it’s ready every time. I’m sure the people who walked up to order get agitated as it does take time. Yet they will see me walk up and pick up my food and am on my way. I order the Large Double Meat Chili burger extra pickles and with jalapeños! And can say with conviction as the chili/cheeseburger guru this is top 5 in the nation from Memphis to Jackson, MS to DC and NY they have the chili burger on lock!

CASHONLY! But a decent burger and pretty good shakes. Seems like it used to be better, but it is a good neighborhood burger stand. Call in your order and pick it so you dont have to wait in the heat or sit in your car.

This place is a real treat! I absolutely love the burger! I have been getting burgers here for years and there is a little wait but if you are about quality then that will be ok. If you want a burger shoved out in ten minutes then probably not for you.

Good hole in the wall burger joint. No seating, but that’s what you get with a place liken this. Read the reviews and decided to give this place a try. You walk up and order, there is no seating. Not sure you’d want to eat by the place anyway since there was a ton of flies but whatever. I ordered the double large burger with cheese and a side order of cheese fries. All food is cooked to order so don’t be in a rush. The burger was reallllly good. So authentic. Nice toasted buns and crispy edges on the meat. The fries weren’t good. Just some reheated frozen bag junk with canned cheese. The burger really carried the meal. Other reviews indicated the onion rings were good, maybe I should have gotten them instead. Overall, the burger was amazing and fit the whole hole in the wall vibe this place has. It’s a burger joint, it has good burgers. The fries need work and they could easily put a couple of picnic tables out front.

Was craving a piece of grilled cow on a bun last night. A few nights previous I passed this place by and it reminded me of a very similar spot in Houston which I have never forgotten as it was so good. From the outside it looks like it would be the place that will give you the runs that will make you lose ten pounds in an hour. Be not afraid young Jedi! They don’t take credit cards so have your cash handy. The burgers are big, juicy and flavorful. Just as was the case with the place in Houston they have great onion rings too. You will see all kinds of folks waiting for the food so you can enjoy the«people watching» as you wait for your order. Its not a sit down joint… you walk up to a window, order, pay and go back to your car until the order number is called. I ate like a pig for $ 13.00 so it’s right up there with Five Guys in terms of pricing, but this place has 5G’s beaten in the flavor department. A great find in the middle of the oilfields!

Ordered the double cheeseburger and onion rings. Burger was a decent size but very average burger in terms of quality and flavor. Very friendly staff, but very busy during lunchtime

Fist time here, was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of flies buzzing around while waiting in line, this place looks like it should have been closed down years go due to health risk issues. I ordered anyways from a very polite lady at the window, after about 10 minutes by bbq brisket sandwich and onion rings were ready. The onion rings where the best I’ve ever had and the serving size was just right. The bbq sauce on my sandwich was amazing but the brisket was a bit dry. Over all the food and service was very good, next time I will try a burger.

This is a 5-star dive, burger joint. Burgers, fries, onion rings and shakes. Not much more. Doesn’t need to be.

Best burgers and milkshakes in town! The patties are thin so I always order a double cheeseburger myself. This is one of the oldest eating establishments in town for a reason! Often voted best burger in town by the newspaper readers poll. Doesn’t look like much, you drive up order at the window and eat in the car or take it to go. They don’t take credit cards though, so bring cash! Closed Sundays.

Best burgers in town, for my money. The Super Jalapeño Burger is beast-mode. The onion rings outshine the grocery store fries, and there’s a few other sandwiches like the fried ham and egg which I enjoy. But you’re not coming here for any of that business: you’re coming here for the burgers…

Wow! Burgers are my favorite and this hole in the wall greasy spoon is the best I have had. This a drive up order from the outside kind of place and if you are female I wouldn’t go after dark, but wow is all I can say. Cheap too $ 19 for 2 super burgers, fries and drinks. Will be back!

In my opinion, this place has the best chicken finger basket in town. The chicken is absolutely gigantic and tasty. Another of my favorites is the jalapeño double cheeseburger, it’s fantastic as well. The biggest downfall is that they mix the onions, pickles and mustard together, so even if you order a burger with mayo, it still comes with mustard. You have to specify that you don’t want the mustard otherwise they’ll smother it on there.

Not impressed with the food. The burger was really done and was lost in the over-sized bun. The milkshake had okay flavor, but it was really icy. When I was done it looked like a slurpee when you drink all the flavor out of it, but the ice is still at the bottom. I think they were using cheap ice cream or something, but it didn’t make for a good milkshake. The other reviews were right that it is a hole-in-the-wall. I give it two stars cause it didn’t make me sick or anything, the food was just bad.

They’ve been around for years & are still doing it right! This drive-in burger joint has burgers, shakes, & fries down! It’s a classic, must-visit here in Midland.

A Hole in the Wall Homerun!!! Man this place isn’t much to look at and they don’t even give you a place to sit to eat your food, but man the burgers, shakes and tots here are sinfully delicious! The local newspaper reader’s poll awarded Bob’s «Best Hamburger» in Midland a year or two ago and they deserve it, Everything is cooked to order, good flavor to the meat and the milkshakes here are tasty, too! This is one of those classic«hole in the wall» spots that doesn’t look like much from the road but is well worth a visit. If you need to grab a tasty dinner to go this is the spot. And bring cash because I don’t think they take plastic.
