This place seems to be geared towards carry-out orders, though there is a small dining room in which to eat. The catfish pieces are massive. Maybe 12″ long by 4″ wide. The catfish is good. The shrimp is alright. The hush puppies lack seasoning. Only bottled drinks are available. The sole employee working was not very hospitable. The biggest downside is the price. It was $ 45 for 2 meals, which is pretty high for a dive catfish joint. Not worth it in my opinion.

Good fried catfish. Fried shrimp, hush puppies and fries are average. Expensive. Found this place with 5 stars so had to give it a try. It’s a walk up and order type place. Pretty small place, had about 12 tables or so. They only serve catfish or shrimp, which is good and shows they only concentrate on doing that well. They don’t have any drinks besides bottled drinks. I was hoping for some fresh brewed sweet tea but they didn’t have it. Have to buy bottled water. I was shocked at the prices. I paid $ 23 dollars for 1 catfish fillet &4 shrimp with a bottle of water. It really should have been half the price. The wait is kinda long for food, I don’t mind if my food is fresh though. Food finally came out, and yes the fish was very hot. The hushpuppies, fries, and shrimp were just warm. The catfish itself was very good. They have those full and big catfish fillets. The breeding was crispy and well seasoned. It was fried well. The actual fish was still very moist and juicy. I was very satisfied with the fish itself. The shrimp was subpar. They seem to use a different breading. Almost like the hushpuppie breading. Many bits of the shrimp tasted like I was eating breading and not actual shrimp. I subbed in the jalapeño hushpuppies instead of the regular ones. They tasted like frozen, bland hushpuppies. No jalapeño spice to be found. The fries were just your generic frozen bag fries. I’d give this place 4 stars because of the catfish but the price was just a shocker to me. I wouldn’t recommend the shrimp, ordering extra hushpuppies or the fries. Other reviews said the onion rings are good. If you’re looking for good fried catfish, this place will give you that. Just be prepared to pay for it.

Catfish can either be good or great. This is great catfish. The fillets are gigantic. One will do most appetites. I read other reviews about the fish being overlooked. It isn’t. The dark color produces a very crunchy crust that gives way to tender, succulent, perfectly cooked fish. Be careful not to burn your mouth. The flavorful seasoning is on point. This is up there with the best catfish I’ve ever eaten! The shrimp were good too. The tartar sauce is also very good. The cocktail sauce good. The cole slaw is. .. Different. Not the mayonnaise base I am used to but it is refreshing. It is a good counter point to the fried food. The value is excellent. I will be back next time I’m in Midland!

Amazing Food and Service. Call in is the quickest way to get your order. If you go on a Friday during Lent the line will be wrapped around the building!

Oh man! Good Catfish & Shrimp plus friendly service. Texas sized portions. If you go there hungry you will probably still have some to take home.

Very good catfish, and very good prices! Good cajun spices on the breading, its very crispy, maybe a bit overcooked, but still very good, and the fillets are very large. I ordered a 2 piece and that is too much for one person, now I know. The fries are good, but I didn’t really like the hush-puppies or the coleslaw, it was different from what I am used to. I will definitely be back soon, but this time I will call-in my order, because it’s busy at lunch time, it took an hour to get my food. I definitely recommend this place, but you may want to get take-out, since space is limited inside, and it’s not in the most appealing neighborhood.

The food was authentic southern fried catfish. Good, but the wait was long and all of mine was a little overcooked. So, just missed out on 5stars. I will be back here though and would recommend it if you are looking for some fried food.

Best catfish I’ve ever had in my life! The filets are HUGE!!! The shrimp is also wonderful. Although it’s really good for carry out, eating it on site is the very best! The place is packed during the lunch hour, so I usually try to go mid-afternoon. Even if you are not a big catfish lover, Eddie’s will win you over. Their catfish is amazing!

Bomb catfish and shrimp!!! The wait is pretty long so i would suggest calling your order in and then giving them about 20 minutes. The catfish is fried in a spicy batter that gives it a nice«kick»! The shrimp were tasty too. I think 9.50 is very reasonable for the big piece of catfish, 4 shrimp, fries, coleslaw, and hushpuppies! This will definitely become my Friday Fish night spot!
