Applebee’s

Food is always consistent and service decent. However, this is only getting two stars because they refuse to deviate from their drink menu. I prefer my drink a certain way and waiter refused since it is not on their recipe card.

It seemed to be a ‘not-​so-​busy’ Friday night. we were seated right away. The waiter was very polite, but young and a little in — experienced. We ordered the quesadia for an appetizer, and a steak shrimp combo, and a chicken dish. First the food was good… we did not get to taste our appetizer til much later at home… it did not come before the meal. We had a third (to go) order to go that we asked to be put in when we received ours. They forgot. They have or at least had a serious kitchen problem. BUT, the manager was kind and tried to make things right. If it was not for the above issues, good chow.

Trying out the 2 for $ 20 special. Seems like a good idea. I like the trivia game on the table but refuse to pay for it.

The pros — YES the thai shrimp salad is back! OK it’s not exactly like the one a couple years ago, but I was so sad when it came off the menu. New Year resolution — more of these — so good and light on the calories. DH had the brunch burger — oh my huge and egg on the top too, with onion rings upgrape, he was full all night and obviously he is not counting calories like me. Tasted great but he thought it was undercooked for medium rare.
The cons — a real jam-​up getting people seated. No good reason that we could see, there were multiple open/​clean booths and tables. Bad enough they started taking names and I saw at least one group give up and leave. Wait staff apologized but all they had to do was get people out of the major crush at the door.
Good chain, simple when you want the expected.

Typical Applebees. I used to go to this Applebees all the time until the food started changing. I would have given it 3 stars but they have a very rude and intense guy bartender.

Came here for my birthday with my wife and three kids. Some one had told me about the steak and shrimp and when I saw it on the menu I ordered it. It was my mistake because it was chicken and shrimp. I wanted steak. The waitress in a snappy voice told me «if it was steak, I would have asked you how you wanted it cooked!» I did change the order and they got it to me quickly, which was a plus. The real problem though was the kids menus. I realize that the cost was only 5 bucks, but the way it was presented was absurd. My one son ordered the corn dog and applesauce and milk. He got one corndog, a small squeezable thing of applesauce and one of those little containers of milk. The best part was that it was served on a rectangular plate about 8″ x 12″. It looked like there was nothing on the plate (which there hardly was). I watched the waitress from where I was sitting, and it appeared she was having a bad day, just by the look on her face. To say the least, it wasn’t what I was expecting, I thought that Applebees was a little more kid friendly than what we got. btw the other two boys had chicken fingers and the hamburger sliders, both served on those tremendously oversized plates. When I got home I looked at the receipt and it asked how did we do? So I emailed them and told them how disappointed I was. I thought I might get a call or a return email, no response at all was forthcoming,

Came in for some drinks with co-​workers and n no one at front to greet so we went straight to bar. Ordered 3 different drinks that came fast. Good bar tender. Had good conversation. Didn’t order food this time. Maybe next visit.

The waitress made the day ask for Toni. She took great care of us. We had the nachos and a cold beer others had burgers. The food was good the beer cold

Just an ok place anymore. I like the consistency in their signature dishes but nothing extraordinary nor finger licking good.

The waitress was friendly enough but obviously let our food sit under the lamp as It was lukewarm by the time she got it to us. When someone in the same section who comes in after you gets their food in a timely manner and before you, you pretty much put two and two together.
Both tables ordered similar items so the cook times were similar.
She also passed right by us without asking if we needed the check when my husband had a clean plate and I wasn’t touching the other half do my sandwich.
We had to flag her down halfway across the restaurant to get what we needed.
As far as the food I ordered a BLT and fries.
It tasted okay though it might have tasted better if it was brought out immediately. My husband ordered the Chicken Ciabata with onion rings. He really enjoyed it and said that it was moist.

New bartender is better. after shoulder surgery they were very accommodating. I lost all color in my face and they rushed to get me seated and a drink. They have gotten a lot better.

Really good dinner tonight. Had a chargrilled chicken and shrimp with avocado sauce with Mexican rice very good. We also had Portobello and chicken over peppers and mushrooms very nice as well. I got the French onion soup very good. We are also trying the molten choc cake, looks promising and yum it tastes good. It was very filling so save room!

Go after 9, Sunday through Thursdays for half price appetizers! The appetizers are the best thing on the menu! They also have really good cocktails! I love the margaritas and Summer Squeeze! And the drinks are better price than most of the comparable restaurants

This Restaurant is real close to home. We really enjoy the two for $ 20 /​$ 24 Menus. The Food is pretty good and the Service varies. It definately has a LOT OF REGULARS and Sports Fan-​atics. Loaded with TV’s and music that I don’t care too much for, thus, we don’t frequent this place much.
¹⁰⁄₄ I brought my ear-​buds and my own music. The ribs tasted like they’d been cooked hours ago and they dumped new sauce on them to spice them up. The slaw was pretty good for the portion size. I wasn’t impressed with this meal.

Ended up here after a movie and got the 2 for $ 24 deal.
The wings were standard: boneless, buffalo. Definitely edible and easy to share. Got pasta with shrimp and fried shrimp, no complaints over either of them.
Service was quick and our waiter was very attentive (without being overbearing or pushy). Came at just the right time to take our order, clear plates, and bring us our check.
Of course, food is standard Applebee’s fare, but I have a history of poor Applebee’s experiences, so the service and non complaints over this visit actually makes this place stand out to me.

Good for a meal out with the entire family… Convenient location to house, can’t beat the 2 for 20 deal… Waiter was very nice and food arrived quick, hot and prepared perfectly…

Good lunch deals. Have a two for 20 deal. Wait staff was really nice. Food was good.
