China Wong

We have been eating here since 2009. The food is reasonably priced and very tasty. I have tried just about everything here and my favorite is the shrimp broccoli with white rice. It is very tasty and filling. A family of 3 can eat here or take out for less than $ 20 including drinks. It’s a hole in the wall and hidden but I call this Brandermills little secret.

I didn’t expect anything big form this place but it was better than I thought it would’ve been. In NYC we referee to these places as «Dirty Chinese» not because the food was dirty but because the place was dirty looking. My son and I decided to eat there WARNING: if you go on a hot summer day there is no A/​C plenty of fans but no A/​C.
I ordered the sesame chicken (extra crispy chicken) and my son got the chicken and broccoli. The meals were good they were tour typical Chinese food and the price was very reasonable we paid half of what we would’ve paid a block away at another Chinese restaurant with better seating. All in all if your in a rush and need something fast and cheap this is not a bad choice

This is your typical local Chinese take out and delivery place. The food is satisfying and the portions are generous. If you’re expecting a gourmet experience, go to Peter Changs, if you want quick inexpensive Chinese carry out, China Wong is fine. The food is 3.5 stars, but the family that runs it is super friendly and remembers it’s regulars.

Not the greatest Chinese on the planet, but much better and more reasonably priced than the other places near by.
We’ve ordered from them many times and have never gotten anything that was not decent.
I would love if they were a standout joint– but I’ve come to the conclusion that they are the same as just about all other places — just fair food.

Got lunch take-​out today. First time. Fried rice and wonton soup were average. The General Tsao Chicken was just not very good. Very little chicken and mostly breading. Even for fast food quality Chinese it was below average. I’ll pay a few more dollars and go to Fortune Bowl.

My wife and I ordered takeout, it was the literally the worst Chinese food we have ever had. China Wong was a China Dong. One and done never again. Shame because it is within walking distance to our home. Stay clear and have fear!
