Terrible food. I order a lo mein for my five year old and they bring a FULL adult lunch. Being that this was my first time, I did not realize until the end there is a kids meal! A decent place would suggest as such. The Pad Thai was extremely lacking in flavor and freshness. The food came out cold and so quickly that I doubt it was cooked fresh. I will never eat here again.

I got take out sushi from here and it was pretty close inedible. The kroger next door has better sushi and that sushi is also gross. The problem is that the rolls are not rolled tight enough so when you go to eat the roll with chops sticks it falls apart. Even worse as that they must use frozen fish that has been sitting out for a while because it is all mushy. We got eel, salmon, tuna and yellow tail… all of it was like oatmeal consistency. Other food might be decent but the sushi is not so good.

Had the boneless spare ribs and chicken lo mien. It was very good and the best Chinese we’ve had since we’ve moved to Midlothian.

I’ve been here twice. Once for dinner, once for lunch. Both times, I found the food to be excellent. The waitstaff made excellent recommendations the first time I was there with a friend for dinner. The portions are huge, I have a healthy appetite and still took a box that made a nice lunch the next day. The second time I went, for lunch, again, great service and really good food and large portions. My friend, who was paying, was surprised that we had two nice meals for $ 15 including tip. My only slight criticism would be that when you walk in, the waitstaff just kind of yells across the room for you to take your pick of seating. Small thing, however, given the really good service and great food.

Ordered wonton soup, shrimp egg rolls, beef on a stick and beef with chinese vegetables for pickup. The appetizer beef on a stick had a rancid taste, so I took 1 star off, the shrimp egg roll was crispy delicious and fresh, the wonton soup was very good and comparable to many other good restaurants, the beef with chinese vegetables entrée was very good, great flavor, the veggies were fresh and crunchy.

Lin’s has become our go-to Chinese restaurant. I’ve tried several things on their menu so far and I’m never disappointed. My favorite is their Pad Thai. It might not be authentic enough for some people, but it still has good flavor to it. I’ve never had a bad experience with that dish. Their weak spot is their sushi. It used to be really good but lately it’s been lackluster. I am not a fan of the sheer amount of iceberg lettuce they shove into things like spider rolls that is obviously used as a filler ingredient. I also hate that unless you tell them not to, they will drown your roll in that gross spicy mayo. If they just improve on their sushi, they’d be perfect! I do wish they extended their delivery area. We live just a couple miles outside where they are willing to deliver so pick up or dine-in is our only option. The staff are always very friendly and accomodating. The restaurant itself is extremely clean, which is always a good sign. They are in a bad spot for parking, so that is always an issue. The really sad thing about Lin’s is that I don’t think they get a ton of business. You go to Panda Express across the shopping center and they’re packed but for the same price, you could come to Lin’s and get much better quality. Yet, every time we’ve gone there, they are inexplicably empty. I hope business picks up for them because I do NOT want to lose my new favorite Chinese joint.

Eaten here twice and both times the food has been delicious. The first time service was a miss but this time it was a hit. The server was very knowledgeable and made a lot of recommendations. She even suggested an off the menu item for my tofu loving self(orange tofu). It’s a real steal considering the amount of food you get for the price.

I took the family here last week and we really enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. It was very quiet, clean, and quick. I had the Philadelphia roll sushi and thai mussels/scallops/shrimp and all was cooked well and tasted very good. The rest of the family had typical american-chinese style shrimp lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, and sesame chicken. Again, all very good and made well. In the area, it’s the best place around to get a variety of asian food styles. Also, in my limited experience with sit-down asian food restaurants, it’s at the top of my all-time list. Now that we’re in the area permanently we’ll definitely be frequenting this restaurant.

Been here twice within a week. The food was excellent and served quickly. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very casual and fits the strip mall setting. Love the corn soup(could have used more corn) and was served hot. Prices were fair for the quantity of the food served. This place is a definite KEEPER

Clean, quiet, good service. This restaurant is a fustian of Asian cuisines. The menu includes Thai, American-style Chinese, and sushi. I can only comment on the sushi part of the menu. The avocado salad with ginger dressing was good – the avocado was perfectly ripe. The salad itself was standard Japanese steak house/Benihana iceberg lettuce mix with cucumbers and ginger dressing. I enjoyed the maki, particularly the sweet potato roll. However, the a la carte sushi was not great. The gari was weird and, in my opinion, inedible. It smelled like chemicals and was so pungent that I needed to keep it out of my smell.(Can one say that, like«out of my sight?») The aroma was similar to cleaning fluid. The tap water was very good – not at all chlorine-scented – which I find important when eating sushi, as a palate cleanser. Especially necessary without the gari. I will likely try the other cuisines at this location when I am in the area. The staff is very friendly and provides good service.

I really like this place; its nice and clean, they have a big menu, and the food is really good. If you have a hankering for some white-box chinese food– please drive past Panda and come to this place. Similar prices, but much better. I love their Sweet and Sour Chicken– its my favorite. I will be coming here frequently.

We ordered the Pad Thai as takeout so I was hesitant to review. My rule about Thai food, «don’t order Thai from anything other than a Thai restaurant» is officially reinstated after this meal. There were enough shrimp to be satisfying but the flavor was bland which could be explained by the very dry noodles. The egg roll was okay. I would give them a 2.5 for über timely delivery(I ordered online while at Starbucks choosing delivery for a few hours later). I’ll probably review again when I order actual Chinese.

The food is great love the dumplings, love the miso soup, and sushi. We love that we can get Chinese Japanese and Thai food all in one place and it currently has a lunchbox which is a mixture of everything. The only reason I give it four stars is when they’re busy sometimes the service is a little slow, but it is worth the wait.

Lin’s Asian Bistro is not a bad choice if you are in the area. The sushi is OK and the pad thai was OK. They have done a few groupons and I always buy those, but that’s the only time I seem to find myself in the resturant. I think they are in a tough market and the food while OK isn’t memorable enough to make me drive out of my way to spend my money. If you are in the area, I think you should give them a try. The staff is nice and friendly and like I said the food is good, just not amazing and the location is a little out of my way.

Initial impression is that this is the typical strip mall Chinese place, but its actually better than most. Crab Rangoon, spring rolls and hot& sour soup were all good. We also had some sushi, and the spicy California roll was pretty good also. We had the house specialty spring roll sushi and it was excellent. The restaurant is kind of small, which I liked, and they don’t have the tacky waterfall or gold fish pond that most Chinese places do. Service was good, we’ll be back

If you are in Midlothian and want to order a mix of sushi, Thai, or Chinese, this is a great option. My husband got egg foo young, I got three rolls of sushi. Everything was average,(egg rolls above average) but the fact that you can order entirely online, choose a pick up time, and even pay online is a huge plus. They also deliver within a 7-mile radius. All of these conveniences ensure that we shall return.
