Best bakery in Ohio! I love the fresh fry pies and desserts this amazing place offers. They have fresh veggies out front, meats and desserts inside, and have a small area where you can even see some farm animals. The store next to it sells some great Hand crafted gifts as well. It’s definitely worth the time to take a trip to visit Ohio’s Amish community, and this is one of the many great places it has to offer.

Terrific autumn stop in Amish country. VERY friendly people and a great assortment of fall harvest products. The kettle corn also rocks!!! Be sure to look for goats on roof!

This is a must stop place if you are driving through Amish Country in Ohio. Although we didn’t go to the petting zoo on their premises, we did see some gorgeous draft horses in the field next to where we parked and incredibly there were goats on top of the roof of one of the buildings! Their food is sent up there to take advantage of the fact that goats like to climb up high! Now that’s a sight you don’t see everyday! I will have to say that the parking was crowded, but there was somebody directing where to park and I took it as evidence of how popular they are. Outside one of the buildings there were some Amish folks making Kettle Corn over an open fire. Imagine the aroma! On the way to the bakery, there was a colorful and impressive array of fresh fruit and vegetables. We couldn’t leave the bakery without buying some of their Fry Pies which is a specialty in Amish Country. One was black raspberry and the other red raspberry — both equally scrumptious! Be sure to stop there if you are passing through.

Really cool place. Had a lot of desserts to choose from. Plus it was a general market for amish food. They have a pet store! Everything was reasonably priced.

Another great farm to visit on your Amish country tour. This farm includes a grocery store full of locally made food. They also have some great produce options. There’s a pet store on the property, a petting farm(which is free) and pony rides(for a small fee). You can buy animal feed so that your little ones can enjoy feeding the baby goats, baby pigs, baby calfs, and so on… You can also meet a 3,000+ lbs horse named Big Ben. Make sure to purchase a large bag of kettle corn because a small one just won’t due. I really enjoyed my visit here, I hope you’ll pay them a visit really soon. Enjoy!

We visited on a Saturday morning, and the place was packed! It’s a popular place for families, with a petting zoo, fresh kettle corn, snacks, produce, canned goods, dairy products, and a bakery. We bought some Amish noodles and 2 loaves of cinnamon swirl bread, which we plan to use for making French toast in the morning!

Reading about Hershberger Farms brought back Ohio memories and how we enjoyed coming here. We took our relatives here since it is so different from Miami Beach where they live. The prices are great, though higher than smaller Amish shops in the area. The selection is huge, everything is fresh and made locally, they have a GIANT horse and puppies for sale as well as baked goods, fruit, veggies, handmade rugs and clothing, it goes on and on. One of the best stops when visiting Amish County.

The hubby surprised me with a trip here. It met all of my requirements… awesome food(the cinnamon rolls are the best we’ve ever had), good prices(aforementioned cinnamon rolls were $ 2.95 for 5ROLLS!, $ 3.50 for apple jelly I pay $.50 more for at Whole Foods but double the amount, you get the drift), animals(free petting zoo for the kids with food available for purchase for $ 1), novelties(«Big Ben» the horse who will swiftly suck a cone of food from your hand as he towers over you by a good 6 feet and goats that wander the rooftops) and puppies you can hold up for adoption. A great market selection, homemade everything including donuts as big as your hands, pies, kettle corn made on the premises outside and a lunch counter with the best lemonade you can find. Definitely worth the stop! We’ll be back in the Fall and I’m filling my freezer with cinnamon rolls! Cash only! There’s an ATM on site with a $ 2.75 fee so plan accordingly before visiting to have plenty of green on you.
