Erik’s exceed my expectation. Alliteration not intentional. I met my boyfriend here on his lunch break and we were content with our meals. Food: I ordered a Chicken Gorgonzola Salad, trying keep it light and tight, macros matter… ya know? For under 500 calories you get a mid-sized garden salad with tender grilled chicken, tons of fresh gorgonzola chunks, craisins, walnuts topped with a fat-free raspberry vinaigrette. Okay, I’ll admit, I make this at home very often… so it was nothing far from what I’m used to tasting and I was okay with that. However, their chicken is a lot tastier and juicer than mine. I love that the gorgonzola is so moist and fresh, like did Erik stock up on penicillium roqueforti and make it himself? I kid. My boyfriend enjoyed his Chicken Pesto sandwich which came with essentially the same chicken breast that came in my salad, melted jack cheese, homemade pesto sauce and red onions on an onion roll. It was very tasty and warm. Price: Under $ 8 for each item we ordered. Generously portioned lunch items. Ambiance: Typical deli ambiance, spacious, clean and busy with people working on work, sipping on Joe and just catching a break during the lunch rush. It can get busy, fyi. Service: Proactive and friendly employees. It was busy during the lunch rush, but they seemed to work as a team, smooth & efficient, while still keeping a smile. I definitely give the manager kudos for the quality team he has. This factor alone convinced me to come back. Overall: Great service & good eats at a very fair price.

Thank goodness for a nearby Erik’s Deli! The food was delish as always — got the Natural High(wheat pocket with an abundance of avocado, cheese and veggie goodness) and a side cup of Tomato Bisque soup! I didn’t know they weren’t open yet when I was eating and until a server walked to the door and changed the«Closed» sign to an «Open» sign! That was very nice of them!!!

This is a hugeeee Erik’s deli compared to the other one I’ve been to. Abundant lighting with ample seating which gives this place a really warm/cozy feel. Upon walking in, everyone seemed to be really enjoying their food whether with someone else, or by themselves. We went later into the regular lunch hour and so most of the seats were filled and there was no line. We were able to get our food quickly and were in and out of the deli soon after we walked in. The Classic Reuben: Yum! Warm, melty, cheesy sandwich with juicy pastrami sandwiched between two toasty pieces of swirled rye bread. Super simple, yet really hit the spot even for someone who wasn’t hungry. Clam chowder: Nothing really to write home about here… However I don’t really blame them since they don’t specialize in clam chowder, so I wasn’t really expecting much to begin with. Great/friendly customer service, and they bus the tables for you when you’re done!

So… it was New Years day, and I was out hunting and searching for a place that has either waffles or pancakes… well…obviously not here… I drove by IHOP… there was a line out the door to get inside(NO)…I drive some more, not real familiar with the area… the options start to dwindle… my stomach says” FEEDMEFOOD.“ ok…where do I go? Ahh.well.never been to one of these before. so I journey in. I decide to order a sandwich that has Turkey, avacadoe and other goodies, a real delight, fast, fresh, and healthy. This place is old school at it’s finest, old B+W pictures on the walls, and old authentic antique phone, and more. The sandwich was awesome!!! I’m contemplating desert??? Ahhh.well…yes, please keep in mind this is the day after I went to the best New Years Eve party ever!!! So. I’m sharing this with one of the employees, Jessica(and she rocks!!!), as I’m sharing this with her, one of the employees is giving me A LOOK – I really didn’t like that, and I wish I knew his name, all I do know is that he is Mexican… what up with that dude? Not cool? Of course not! I hope someone talks to you about that. So, yes, I’m being gracious giving this place five stars because of THELOOK — DONOTDOTHATTOCUSTOMERS – WORDOFADVICE– DONOTDOTHATEVERAGAIN. I didn’t meet the manager, but I know his name is Epifanio – please talk to him, Jessica knows who he is by name, thank you very much. Jessica, you rock!!! Thanks for the excellent service and the carrot cake was oh so good, and for the suggestion to take a sweet item to this gorgeous lady that I met at the NYE party. The restroom was very clean… AGAIN-PLEASETALKTOTHISEMPLOYEE– YOUDONOTLOOKAT A CUSTOMERLIKETHAT-VERYVERYBAD. Thanks for the delicious meal. First time, and hopefully I’ll be back, just as long as that employee isn’t still working there anymore

Boyfriend ordered me a half chicken pesto and clam chowder and it was amazing! I love how their New England clam chowder isn’t super heavy like most chowders. Tried boyfriend’s turkey walnut pesto and it was also amazing. Love their sandwiches! NOTE: Boyfriend says there’s too much alfalfa sprouts and it makes the sandwich taste kind of grassy.(quick fix. ask for it not to be added OR just remove. personally I don’t mind them)

I recently tried Erik’s Deli for the first time and I was amazed at how delicious the sandwiches were! I’m so glad I discovered a good deli around the area. My friend advised me to order the Pilgrim’s Progress since she said it was one of their most popular ones and it did not disappoint. The ingredients were so fresh and they definitely don’t skimp out on the portions for each component of the sandwich. Service was great — the staff was friendly and the food came out very fast. I’ll definitely be back here again in the near future!

I love Erik’s! Great customer service, amazing tasting water with a fancy cup(here’s to our health!), and tasty sandwiches and soups. Yes. it may be pricey to some but it’s worth. The chicken pesto on wheat is so good, and the chicken and rice soup is great to go along with it! I’ve been here a lot of times and will definitely try to be a regular(when I have more money ha ha). Thanks Eriks!

lunch deal from 11−2pm! you can get a half sandwich with soup, salad, or deli salad combo! —Half turkey walnut pesto with a HUGE side salad that ALSO came with some pasta salad: i was shocked at the amount of food! they even decorated my sandwich plate with a pickle & an orange slice… love that they put sprouts in the sandwiches! you can choose your salad dressing, i got the raspberry vinaigrette! the pasta salad was pretty good NOTE: Reminds me of panera bread or corner bakery, you order at the front then take your number & they’ll bring your sandwich to you! there are a few tables outdoors in addition to tons of indoor seating

This cute Western themed sandwich shop provides great tasting products. There sandwiches are quite different to the other high end brand sand which spots. The way it presents its self is better than any other place I’ve been. The sandwiches alone make this place unique, but they really tied up lose ends by giving you an awesome Masson jar to drink out of.

When I order food to pick up and they say come in 15 min I do not want to wait another 10 min when they start making my food after I come in and pay for it.

Great first impression as you walk in followed by great sandwiches and service. I did not try the soups but my parents did and both agreed on how delicious it was and the fine quality of service they experienced. The price is just about the same as Panera for the food and the atmosphere is a little bit more uppity and fun. Line was average and the restaurant was not completely full yet not completely empty and everything was clean and organized. All around great lunch place to hangout with friends or just to grab a bit to eat.

Great food, polite staff, and never busy. Always so serene whenever I come in. I always choose to eat inside because of how nice it is inside. There are a lot of choices to eat, so I get something different every time, and I am never disappointed.

It’s Erik’s that really started my lifelong obsession with sprouts in sandwiches. They have a wide selection of different items(including vegetarian options), but I always go for the sandwiches. I’ve had their corned beef and pastrami sandwiches, and both were delicious. Service is always friendly here, and though it can get super packed during lunch, the line moves along pretty fast. It is a little on the pricey side and honestly, their sandwiches aren’t necessarily huge. But their unique combinations and sauces, as well as the freshness of their ingredients somehow makes the prices worth it. The sustainability nerd in me also likes that for dine-in guests, drinks(including water) is served in a mason jar — less waste from paper cups and plastic lids!

Fresh, locally sourced bread, live sprouts(jk), and a deep menu of sandwiches makes this a solid lunch haven. I had the half sando with a cup of soup, and was impressed by their clam chowder. A lot of chowdah in my experience is heavy on the potato, and light on the clam. Not so here. There was a vertible clam bake in my cup o’ soup, and there was a brine that shone through that gave great balance to the overall flavor. I am totally sold on this soup. I still need to try out their other offerings, but my sando was fresh tasting, the staff were friendly, and we were served quickly! 4 Stars.

OK place for lunch if you really have nowhere else to go =/Not too impressed with their sandwiches and consider them to be lower grade Panera. I like that they have the option to customize your meal like having half sandwich/half salad or the sandwich soup combo. However, none of their sandwiches have been really amazing nor their soups for that matter. For some reason, their soups never come out hot either. They always seem to be room temperature. It’s a shame that this place can’t live up to be one of my favorites because I live so close. Would be great to have a really good sandwich shop close to home. I ordered tge Eriks Holiday Sandwich and my sister got the Sea Dog and we both thought our sandwiches were extremely soggy(possibly drenched with sauce?). They also didn’t hold their shape very well and couldn’t really bite into it without it falling apart. Prices are also up there for what it is/the taste. My soup and sandwich combo came out to $ 9 and change.

There are many Erik’s Deli Cafes in the bay area, however this is by far my favorite. Erik’s has the cutest décor ever making you feel as though you have just jumped into a rustic cottage! The Milpitas location has both indoor and outdoor seating. It is good for individuals or large groups. The line is so long at lunch, but they are SUPERFAST!!! They have tons of seating and if you need tables put together, they are very accommodating. Also, the staff is super friendly and happy all of the time. The REO speedwagon and clam chowder is the BOMBBBBBB :) The house sauce is what makes all the sandwiches even better! But overall, I have had my fair share of trying many of the sandwiches and they are all really good! The salads are also a must try! I love Erik’s!!!
